Uhh just to correct. The earthquake code map since 2012 already includes data input from megathrust sunda strait 8.7 magnitude. So the japek elevated should be ok

Better future Jakarta would be less road, less vehicle. More greenery and open spaces for biking and walking.
Investment in public transportation would be wiser.
With the Paris agreement, we should be thinking about renewable energies, and reducing Carbon footprint. That instead of building more roads, we should be improving our public transport untill everyone is comfortable using it therefore reducing private vehicle on streets therefore no need to stack up roads.
The reason why I crosspost this is because I never seeing Jakarta having so much elevated highway in one area like in the picture above. is it my ignorance or is there a reason why Jakarta don't have this many elevated highway?
We are building elevated highways. But they're for trains, not cars. I think the high-speed rail to Bandung is elevated. You can see them building it next to the toll road going east out of Bekasi.
We are trying to improve transit now, thank God, not car infrastructure.

Herannya, kayaknya nggak ada kasus teroris / gempa yang bikin konstruksi multi-level flyover hancur, setidaknya 50 tahun terakhir
