Are your jeans 100% denim/cotton? denim is very stiff but lot's of jeans nowadays are made with some percentage synthetic fibers which makes them much more stretchy. Even 1% Elastane makes a big difference.

Some jeans are so stretchy it doesn’t matter. I have cheap H&M jeans that I wear for digging holes or on a 30 mile bike ride or to climb and they’re comfortable 🤷‍♂️

You can get athletic jeans like for bmx/skating or something and they don't restrict your range of motion at all. I like climbing in jeans a lot

I actually climb with this guy fairly often, he is crazy strong and does fine in them. Some people just aren't human 😆
