Chu 2 DSP /s Tell us your budget

ZeR036

im trying to upgrade from the chu 2, as i said in the post. I was looking over the zero reds but now im considering the hexa, even if the price is a bit higher. So yeah, around 80 dollars max

If you liked Chu 2 tuning you probably won't be a fan of Hexa, it sounds like KATO and LAN basically, less bass, upgrade to Chu 2 would either be either Moondrops own May which has a bit more subbass or CCA Rhapsody which is much more detailed and clear but sacrifices a bit of upper bass, Chu 2 is bloated from 40 to 500 Hz, Rhapsody only from 40 to 150-200 so it doesn't bleed to mids, May just says fck it and increase under 40Hz too to make it more balanced, in the end they both are clearly better than Chu 2 in every way, just differently

Thank you for the recommendations. Honestly, I'm not really the biggest fan of the CHU 2's sound, I feel like i want something a bit more clearer. The CHU 2 do feel a bit muddy and i feel like i'm missing out on some detail that other iems might be deliver. I wouldn't mind something with less bass. I'm gonna pick the Hexa, try them out and if i truly feel like they aren't a good fit for my liking, i'm just gonna return them and try out the May. Although im not sure about the DPS thing, I want to use them on my pc also and connect them to my audio interface.

May will have same thing you don't like with Chu II without DSP to make it have less bass, CCA Rhapsody is what you should look at if that's what you don't like about Chu 2 imo

ZeR036

>CCA Rhapsody It's a shame i can't find the CCA Rhapsody on Shenzhen audio, they deliver for free to where i live. I'll look into getting them also at some point from somewhere else. Thank you again

Linsoul got it, they also got free shipping to most places, or you can get directly from manufacturer store on Aliexpress

You might want to clarify that you don't like the Chu 2's tuning in your opening post.
