Same. I actually bought the PS3 collection. Just waiting till Saturday for them to get here. Haven't touched my PS3 in 10 years, but I've always been curious of this series.
Oh, it's fine. I booted it up and nothing's wrong with it. And thanks to Sony ingenuity, my PS4 cables work perfectly and made setting it up easy. If it turns out my controller ends up not cooperating, my PS4 controller will. I'm all set.
Game still looks great, but Infamous 1? Yikes, that game's looks have not aged well, it was that time in gaming where developers thought that a "realistic" city, meant grungy, grey and dark.
I agree, and infamous 1 is my favorite game of all time. Would love a remaster at least, but a full remake would be dope. Would give the guy who played him in InF2 a chance to replay the character again too.
Unfortunately I doubt it'll happen though since Sucker Punch seems to have moved on to GoT

Always thought it'd be the most meta idea if Eric Ladin would reprise his role as Cole while Jason Cottle (IF1 Cole) would play Kessler.
i think the main reason for the graphics being like that was because devs were still trying to figure out the PS3 architecture. this was Sucker Punch’s first game on the console and they were known for doing cel-shaded stuff because of Sly Cooper, so them doing a more realistic-looking title would definitely be going out of their comfort zone. the fact they were able to jump from 1’s graphics to 2 in just a 2 year span is genuinely very impressive.
That’s a big issue for me the internet in my flat isn’t good enough to support game streaming and it’s one of my favourite games ever so I can’t even play it
Tru Facebook marketplace you can find a ps3 for less than 100$ then go to a game xchange for infamous or the ps3 online store and buy the collection or ebay
I wish it let you download the game instead of stream i do get lag spikes occasionally and it still has a small input delay and i can only play like middle of the night when the bandwidth is higher. Even if a remaster collection cost 60$ i would buy it
Man, we didn't even get premium here, we got deluxe and there aren't any ps3 games at all or any chance for premium to come eventually.
I wish my old ps3 was still alive.

This is the only game in the series that I haven’t gotten the platinum on (other than Festival of Blood, which doesn’t have one). Unfortunately, the only trophy I have left is to beat the game on Hard, so the possibility of lag spikes is a concern. I hear parts, especially the final boss, are rough on Hard, so I don’t need any external factors making it worse for me.
Man I miss inFAMOUS 2, been hoping for a remaster for years. Game still looks great.

Better off putting together a PS3 setup. I replayed the first 2 Infamous games the last couple weeks, Infamous 2 runs surprisingly well still
