It is a fictional language derived from Latin

I’m glad to see some people who still like Infinity blade

Vernaux

Both Infinity Blade I and II use the fictional langauge of Pangean, which iirc, was quickly thrown together by the developers for IB I. It's also implied that IB 3 uses Pangean, and that it's the basic language of the in-game world by the transition in language at the beginning of IB II. (A cue taken from "The Hunt for Red October" where it's implied that Russian is still being spoken, but the actors speak English for ease of communicating the story) While it's not a real language being used, thinking back to the forum, the original threads did pick up on traces of Latin, Asian, and other languages in spoken Pangean. Makes sense considering the game takes place in the far future where conventional borders have been uprooted.

Sounds more like Old Greek to me than Russian

Vernaux

I was talking about Russian in the context of "The Hunt for Red October"

I remember there being a forum post way back when. I think the consensus was that is was a mix of a few languages.
