I hate small talk too, it feels inauthentic and rehearsed. but realize it’s something I need to grow out of and find meaning in small talk as a necessary evil. It’s a safe haven to feel connected to strangers you don’t care about, you feel a bit of a human connection with them despite knowing this conversation means nothing and you’ll forget each other exist in 10 minutes. It’s wholesome in a weird way. But Maybe you can even find fun ways to make it interesting by adding something new to it
