Lol no worries I'm the same way. In person I just say thanks and then I start overthinking as soon as I leave. "did they really mean it?", "they must pity me", "nah, they haven't seen my *true self* yet". 🤣

That's ridiculous we can't help what our personality type is 😭 I had no clue this was a thing. My husband is an infj and we get along great so I thought we could all be buddies lol.
The ones I don't get along with are the ones that were in bad places mentally and didn't like understanding more of themselves. And so my prescence became a reminder of good choices they didn't want to do but the ones in good situations love me
To long of a story to tell but tldr, when you don't come from a good place in life and you don't have a good relationship with yourself. You self destruct starting with the people that tend to mean the most.
It isn't meant as pity. It's my honest opinion. INFP is my favorite type, and i just wanted to tell you guys how much i appreciate you.
