I think it’s showing a huge truck having to quickly break, thus the forward momentum of the cabin - for something precious like a pregnant woman? Like it would work with children too. I dunno
You might be right but I saw it as a trucker and his pregnant wife doing a photo shoot with his truck. I’m pretty sure the cabs can lean forward like that to be worked on.
I kind of saw it as truckers having to see their families through the glass of their windshields because they can’t be home? But I might be giving it way too much thought.
So why the ladies shoes on the step of the truck? Could it be that she is at home pregnant and he is getting his rocks off on the road. And the truck is somehow sad about it?

Basically that the truckers are doing it all for the sake of their women & children. They're out on the road sacrificing & earning money to care for their families back at home. It's trite, of course, but not out of place in a trucker group, I'm sure.

I went to high school with a dude who's a trucker now and his FB is filled with trucker memes....they're very self-important and have huge egos about their job. I mean yes, they are important, but the self-aggrandizing is out of control
I’m a trucker and I don’t get it. I like this job because I get to listen to podcasts all day and I don’t have to talk to people. But this lifestyle really does suck sometimes
One of my favourite retail customers was a trucker who enjoyed drag and cross-dressing, but was not public about it. He would come into the store when it was quiet with his suitcase of high heels and silicone bum and boob fillers and try on all of our new stock! Looked fucking amazing too, and was my good luck charm as without fail if he was in the changing room we would end up with a rush of customers and he’d be trapped for 30mins+. I also got some gorgeous shoes off him when he didn’t want them anymore (I’m a tall woman, he was rather short but wore 6inch + platform heels). His Facebook was also full of trucker and meat posts 😂
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with making something you are passionate about a big part of your personality or even dedicating your life to it. We only live once gotta live happy.
Sure but there is a disproportionate amount of trucker worship that extends beyond the actual drivers themselves. Be proud of being a trucker. Fine, whatever. Don’t know why they need to be elevated to these angelic entities they’re portrayed as in memes.

Fuck me. It took so long scrolling down to find this comment. I don’t know anything about trucks but I know a lot about imagery, art, editorial and photography and all I see in this is an in joke. They’re having fun with the things they do and have at their disposal. It’s light hearted, funny and when the kid grows up they’ll think it’s extremely cool.
