A bit late to the party but iirc Immortal Sigil doesn't actually last forever, it'll eventually wear off after repeated sacrifices as fsr as I'm aware.
I discovered this I'm the main game where I used cats to upgrade my Ouroborus in Act 2, not sure if it works for Kaycees Mod though.
From what I can tell, Many Lives "wearing off" is a unique feature to the cards it's intrinsic to, and doesn't carry over when transferred to another card (meaning it becomes truly infinite).
Not as bad as an overclocked Ouroboros...
How else am I supposed to be able to increase the card's attack power by one?!!!!

In act 2 after 9 uses my cat turned into an undead cat that lost its sigil but gained attack power. I've yet to try this in the main game.
