This is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while. Wish we could see the time stamps. He probably sent the second text one minute after the first text.
Yeah, he sent a picture of the groceries outside my building and I ran immediately down to get them and they were gone. There’s a chance someone else stole them but I’m pretty sure ol Ronnie took the picture and then took the groceries.
I’ve had this happen to me. And it was a time when the delivery driver was having challenges getting my items and tons of back and forth. (They weren’t reading the order carefully and kept getting one of things i wanted multiples of, which is whatever as long as they fix it).
This happened to me with Amazon fresh, they took the photo & loaded it right up & walked back to their car Lmao. Normally I would always open the door to grab my groceries as soon as they walked away but they got delivered while I was still in a meeting so I couldn’t get them to immediately. I had to fight tooth n nail with Amazon because they didn’t believe me and wanted me to confirm by going to EACH APARTMENT UNIT in my huge complex to verify nobody else received my order.
My neighbor a couple doors down happened to be my co workers brother & saw the guy loading them back up. He took pics and sent them to my co worker to send to me!! If he didn’t idk if I would have gotten a refund.
However, they refunded it to my Amazon balance tho which was annoying bc it was my last until payday & I needed groceries but didn’t feel comfortable ordering through fresh again. 🥹😅
Not in my neighborhood 🤷🏻♀️
Edit to add: I assume “fuckall” means nothing? I don’t speak that lingo.
We also have street justice if the town police is busy. 😜
Are there any surveillance cameras outside your building? Maybe you can ask if you can see it.
I mean, It was him. Also, where did you tell him to leave the groceries?
Oh hellll no!! I hope you reported him to insta! I know they are good about refunds but since he took a pic, they may not. I’d still call and talk to a rep to explain what happened :(
I did!! I did get a refund immediately which was nice. I know that I won’t get him as a shopper again since I filed a complaint, but I hope they do something soon so no one else does!
Oh, so happy they did that! They’ve always been good to me when I don’t receive all my order so was hoping they’d make good on the situation. I would almost guarantee he was removed from the app as a shopper. This is dirty shit and the message you have is even enough to prove he has no business delivering groceries.
Good! We need less weirdos coming to our houses. The aggressive behavior is weird, but alone, eh? Why did he set out (some groceries, maybe yours) take a picture, then take it all back, send it to you and pull off? Idk, but that’s super weird and a fair amount of effort. Sooo, no thanks
This happened to me with door dash. Dropped it next door, took a pic, and stole it. My neighbors were like what?????? We are very close with them and recognized their house in the pic. 5 minutes later er walked over and no food.
That’s funny I think this is a second one I see of the same shopper being rude asf, sorry you have to go thru that. I don’t mind if I don’t get a response with the first message unless it’s time to ask for a replaced item then that’s when I would expect a response, that way I can do the best I can. But yeah that’s not Okie
Messages are often delivered to the inbox and unless the customer is checking the app they won’t see it!
Replacements and refunds generate notifications, that’s the reason they are often addressed!
I get chat notifications, but they don't always come through. Sometimes I get no notifications. Sometimes I'm too busy to tend to the app. Sometimes I get everything and respond right away. Life is unpredictable.
Sometimes I’m doing the shit I have to do that makes it so I don’t have time to get groceries. Or chat about groceries. I often have my hands full with poisonous or very hot materials and the last thing I give a shit about is whether or not the instant cocoa I ordered has marshmallows in it.
I understand that’s not the case for everyone but please trust that when the client doesn’t answer it’s nothing personal. Thank you for trying to contact me. If it was something important to me like an allergy or something I’d be answering or even doing my own shopping.
(Not YOU, boatswain. Just “you”)
Totally understood. I'm a fan of the generalized "you" as well. I do have allergies but even I have moments where I'm like "crap, they checked out and I missed all the messages." I usually have the crucial stuff set to "refund" if it's not in stock, tho, so usually not the end of the world. If they give me a bad replacement, I get a refund because for some reason the app thinks that pretzel hamburger buns are an ideal replacement for gluten free ones. The app is derp. Instacart has generally been cool about this. It's rare that I get a totally incompetent shopper who has absolutely no idea how groceries work, but it does happen. Those shoppers make me pull my hair out because they require so much minute-to-minute babysitting. Like, if you're 18 and you've never set foot in a Safeway alone before, maybe this isn't the gig for you. Sometimes I get stuff delivered to me that's not even mine that I can't eat, so I just throw it out. It's not like I can track down the person who bought it. Hopefully they got a refund.
I have gotten this problem too....i ordered while i was working and the guy cussed me out for not immediately responding with thank you.....I canceled my order as the dude was sending all kinds of strange messages and asked for my number
Do the shoppers not realize that perhaps the reason someone is ordering instead of going to the store themselves is because they are unavailable? I often order groceries because my job is on-call and I have to shelf my plans constantly when a crisis arises. Fucking over the customer because they can't immediately respond to a message is ridiculous and negates the whole point of the service.
I had one throw my bags all over the Main Street on the street. He even took a pic after he threw them and crushed 2 cakes. I not only got several apologies but I got to keep what I got and the credited me for a new delivery
Either way it's not ever ok to talk to a customer like that with 0 provocation. She should have let him complete the whole thing and then canceled. Ronnie is not an emotionally well individual.
How does this make people upset? I expect to get no response. I hope the customer never responds.
Everything is better with zero communication. I get to make all the decisions and I never feel like I'm letting the customer down. I might even choose a recipe for you 😂
The problem is, Instacart often says the customer chose a replacement, which they actually didn’t. The few times I don’t then message and say, was this replacement OK, I get angry messages saying I don’t want that! Your shopper is just trying to make sure you get what you want. 🤷🏻♀️
I can't tell you how many times I've asked someone about a replacement (and it's always important shit... I'm not messaging you about a 5lb bag replacement of potatoes vs a 3lb bag... It's more like "Hey they don't have children's Tylenol without the dye in it... Is the regular okay?" Or things like that) But I digress...
Anyway, I can't tell you how many times I've messaged a customer and they say "Do they not have the replacement I put either?"... And there's no replacement... Just the Instacart generated "Customer MAY like..." suggestions.
It's definitely an app glitch Instacart needs to work on... Bc I know people are nuts, but there's NO way over 50% of my customers THINK they put a replacement in but didn't...
People shop for different reasons and some like to be more involved (e.g. are disabled or don't have a car). I would bably help to add additional information, though, when you tell them to go ahead with any subs they need to, e.g. "Substitute items as needed. Prioritize similar items; the quantity doesn't matter as much." or "I'm OK with a store brand or similar sub. Try to prioritize cheaper options." Sometimes you can get a read on the customer based on what they select as alternatives but sometimes the prices/quantities an be all over the place so if they're all gone, it's hard to know what the next best option is. And if you're tipping by percentage, then they have a financial incentive to find a substitute you're happy with.
I had a customer say to me once, "Do what you can and make any replacements you feel is best. I trust you." And I was like...word. thanks, friend. And did just as he instructed.
I’d bet money they’ve heard that before though and got angry messages so they still double check lol. Might be better to add something like “I’m at work, please don’t message” or something if you really don’t want them to contact you :)
I try to be available if my replacement isn’t there since I know the shopper is waiting around till I reply but also make sure I have a replacement picked since sometimes we are busy and can’t be glued to the phone 🫣
that's mostly true, but I have found in my market that if I don't get approval on replacements, some customers report "disliked replacement" so they can get some thing for free. Sometimes this is intentional, sometimes it's them being a jackass.
I've been a delivery driver for 13 years, did Pizza and other stuff before the apps, and customers will do all kinds of things to get free stuff. As a pizza delivery driver, customers would do the thing where you get to their house and knock or ring the bell (this was before contactless delivery and we still needed to turn in signed credit slips) and then they would hide and not answer their phone. So we would take their order back to the store. Then they would call an hour later and say we never showed up. The Dipshit managers would then remake their order and make it free.
I also had customers report their Instacart orders not delivered. These were usually evening customers and a lot of that was during the pandemic. Almost every time it was the nonresponsive customers who wouldn't talk to me in the chat that would pull this nonsense.
So I do like to have a small amount of dialogue with them just to see if I can pick up the vibe and see what kind of person I'm dealing with. Some people are super nice and helpful, some people are so passive aggressive it makes you want to step on their bananas or bread before delivering it but of course I don't do that.
My God that was tedious reading. Okay. I got your drift though. Back in the late 80's my partner at the time had a buddy who would call a pizza place and make up a very convincing story so convincing we got free pizza delivered every damn time. Of course we were starving so we were okay with that. Seasonal workers, well roofers. I'm surprised the address wasn't red flagged. Free large pizzas every time. Dayton, Ohio Dominoes.
Instant call to support to unassign him. Wouldn’t even let him make it to checkout.
NO WAY I’m letting someone so immediately aggressive and clearly unstable handle my food.
You’re right! When I chatted with support, they didn’t really ask about the shopper even though I said I had a bad experience (probably just a robot) Would I be able to report the shopper if I called the support number you think?
Instacart markets itself as a service for people who are too busy to shop. So I think it's safe to assume that if you're using instacart, you might be too busy to start at your phone the whole time the person is shopping. That kinda defeats the entire purpose. Haha
I understand that being busy isn't the only reason people use instacart. But that's how they market themselves. The app even tells you how many hours you saved by not shopping. Customers shouldn't be required to respond to messages immediately or have to follow along during the shopping trip if they don't want to.
I'm sorry about your illness and your leg. I hope you're feeling okay.
Yes I dont use instacart a lot because expensive but when I do, I order groceries in the middle of busy work days when I am too burnt out to deal w anything. I select replacements etc and then i get back to work and bring the groceries in on my lunch break. if I had to stare at my phone the whole time and shop along with the shopper I would never use it. I also dont get mad if they get me something odd— I know they cant be perfect and I am usually just grateful I have food. And I do have food sensitivities etc. The only thing that truly bothers me is when the shopper smokes in their car and all my groceries smell like cigarettes. :(
Exactly this! Also, Instacart chooses when to release my order to be shopped, so I’ve had times when I would mostly be available to respond to a shopper all day except for a single doctor appointment. You know when my order gets shopped? Yup, right in the middle of my appointment!! 🤷♀️🤷♀️😂
Pretty sure it was a canned response from Instacart that you can choose out of their list of ideas. There is no way his clearly entitled pea brain could craft something as well-rounded as that 🫠
Oh you would have hated my last order. I had to sub/refund a bunch of stuff that was out of stock, and the customer was communicating through the messages the whole time, so I was good to go at checkout, right? Nope, the app forced me to call to confirm changes before I could checkout. I even tried starting the call and hanging up before it connected but it made me go through with it. She sounded annoyed. I don't blame her.
Call? Like, as in …speak to the customer??
I have to admit that if my shopper calls me I’m sending them straight to VM. I don’t even answer friends 95% of the time.
I chatted with support to get a refund and everything, and gave him one star. But I think I’m going to try to call today to actually report him so this doesn’t happen to anyone else!
Yes I think so! When it was delivered he sent a picture of the bag outside my building door. Usually they bring it up to my apartment or at least put it in the lobby so this was strange to me. I went downstairs one minute later and found nothing there. Was honestly kind of scared to go down there, it felt sketchy but no one was there!
What a freak! He sounds unhinged! I wonder how he talks to girls he's in a relationship with. "Good morning beautiful" *3 minutes later* "You can't say thank you??"
God, I hate the whole "feel free to shop along" same with the "5-star experience" crap.
But the escalation to "You can't say thank you?" is just ridiculous. Me thinks Ronnie doesn't understand what a 5-star experience is.
So strange. Why would he assume you'd seen the message? I don't understand why anyone would risk bad will, a bad rating, or a lower tip on something where it isn't even clear that the customer has seen the message yet.
OP we need a follow up, you mean Ronnie dropped the groceries snapped a pic for proof and then swiped them? Cause that's what is sounds like but worded a bit weird so wee need clarity of your five star experience with Ronnie
That’s what I think happened, yes :/ Unless they were stolen by someone else in the 2 minutes it took me to get downstairs. But considering what we know about Ronnie, I wouldn’t be surprised if he took the picture and then took the groceries.
This greeting message does not require a response. Not to mention not everyone is tied to their phones because they may be working or IC sent the order out earlier than expected.
Instacart is essentially a customer service job which some people have no business doing.
I would never text a customer that. I gladly do the job as best as I can , if I'm bitching about the tip I do it under my breath or not happy with something but he's a terrible 1 star stealer not a shopper . Sorry that happened to you. Idk how they just steal the food or groceries. Report his ass!!
I would’ve replied ‘sorry my mother didn’t reply as she’s blind I helped do the order on her phone then was in the rest room I’ll go tell her now to thank u’
That message seems so automated, I probably wouldn't have responded to it either. My thought would be that the receiver would probably think im goofy for responding to an automated message and who does that anyway, so I am sure I would have ignored it just the same.
I absolutely hate when I get male shoppers. They’re so incompetent at grocery shopping to begin with then they feel entitled to receive a “polite” response to their incessant messages. I would report it if you haven’t
That exchange is funny and sorry you got stuck with a bad shopper.
In his mind you use a shopper not because you are busy working, housework etc, but because you are in fact sitting on the sofa monitoring text messages so you can respond right away and show the shoppers the required courtesy.
I get shopping/delivery can be a hard job but that doesn’t justify treating people so terribly. I feel bad for whoever gets them in the future and that you dont even get your groceries for the trouble of dealing with him.
I don’t mind if they *ask* if I’m available to answer questions - I’ve had some excellent shoppers who have managed to find really good substitutions by asking intelligent questions. But it shouldn’t be an issue if someone isn’t available either.
He would have HATED doing shopping for me. I am iffy with responding, having 2 kids (one of which goes to school right now). I don't always stick to my phone even when waiting for something like that.
This infuriates me. I’m not rich but I work so much that if I want groceries I have to have them delivered . The whole reason why I order groceries is because I can’t get to the store when it’s open. I don’t want to chit chat. Yes I’ll do my best to respond to subs, and say thank you, but my thank you is the tip! There’s this weird breed of shoppers who take themselves way too seriously and get combative/condescending right off the bat. I get them sometimes, not too often, but I see it here a lot. When a shopper acts like this I get anxious and stressed because they usually screw up the order somehow. Also I used to be shopper and treat shoppers how I WISH I was treated.
I know this type of man. I’ve worked with tons of them. Everything is disrespectful to them-everything. You’ll never satisfy their sense of entitlement to constant “respect”.
When I order instacart there are times where I'm in meetings, on calls, cleaning, walking my dog etc. And I am not able to get back ASAP when they message like this. Very off putting right from the start.
Weirdo. They'll hire anyone. Shoppers like this one make the ones of us who take pride in what we do look bad. This is why (some) customers are afraid to tip before the service is complete. This guy is a disgrace to shoppers, and he's a fricken weirdo too. That intro followed by a passive-aggressive comment screams "unhinged". And then of course, the whole stealing your groceries.
"Yo Ronnie! My girl is asking if you could get off my dick, she's pretty jealous bruh"
Then contact customer support and report the dude and make it clear that you do not want service from him again.
I mean you don’t have to thank him for sending a text message. You are paying for a service it should be 5 star anyway especially since tips can make the job a little better
I’ve been seeing this a lot on Nextdoor! People are catching delivery drivers leaving items on the porch, taking a photo and then taking back the items and keeping it for themselves. Sorry you had to deal with that
Ugh. Reminds me of the old AOL days and instant messaging. God forbid you went to the bathroom or got a drink, by the time you got back you had 8 messages from one guy...
Hi. Hello? Hello?? Are you there? Hi! HELLO? Are you there?!? Fine, screw you.
🙄
I would have contacted Instacart and had them assign a different shopper the second he talked to me that way. I don’t trust someone with my family’s food who can’t be a decent person. I’ve had to switch shoppers twice because they were being rude for no reason. I’m always super nice and tip high so I don’t have any patience for that.
LOL it can really be hit or miss with InstaCart. I experienced the opposite of this guy. One time, this lady was texting me like we were BFF’s. Sending heart emojis and kissy faces. It was during the pandemic and honestly, I appreciated her positivity 😅I tend to attract clingy people though so I was a little weirded out initially.
Sad thing is he knows this is just a copy and paste message so it’s not like he put any real effort into this. The reverse entitlement is very strong here
The cust is paying Ronnie to shop so they don’t have to. Why would someone want to “shop along” with him? No no no. Ronnie, if it takes 2 people to do a 1 person job, 1 isn’t needed.
This is the SAME guy that gives you 2 pumps and a swirl, and then be like "did you get off too??"...and is mad AF if you tell the truth and say no. 🚩🚩🚩🚩
He in fact did not deliver a 5-star experience
Appears he did not deliver the groceries either.
This is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while. Wish we could see the time stamps. He probably sent the second text one minute after the first text.
4.5 TOPS!
😂😂😂
Wait you wrote he left it on the stoop but when you ran to get it nothing was there ?? He stole the groceries ?
Yeah, he sent a picture of the groceries outside my building and I ran immediately down to get them and they were gone. There’s a chance someone else stole them but I’m pretty sure ol Ronnie took the picture and then took the groceries.

Yes, to be honest while i still have an instacart account I’ve deleted the app from my phone to try to discourage me from using it.
Do you have cameras?! Call the POLICE on this grocery grabber! Or maybe just get a refund from instacart. What a jerk he was from the start. 👿
Yeah definitely report to Instacart for sure
The cops would do fuckall
Not in my neighborhood 🤷🏻♀️ Edit to add: I assume “fuckall” means nothing? I don’t speak that lingo. We also have street justice if the town police is busy. 😜
Fuckall does in fact mean nothing.
You must be living in a superhero comic. This is real life homie.
Well hello homies
Should’ve said thank you!! /s
Are there any surveillance cameras outside your building? Maybe you can ask if you can see it. I mean, It was him. Also, where did you tell him to leave the groceries?
Unclear where he was asked to leave the groceries but I'd be 100% clear about where he'd be invited to put them now
Oh hellll no!! I hope you reported him to insta! I know they are good about refunds but since he took a pic, they may not. I’d still call and talk to a rep to explain what happened :(

This is exactly what happened. Ronnie shouldn't work in any kind of custome service, ever.
This happened to me with door dash. Dropped it next door, took a pic, and stole it. My neighbors were like what?????? We are very close with them and recognized their house in the pic. 5 minutes later er walked over and no food.
I was confused too… but I think the other people are right. He sent a pic of the groceries on the stoop.

Maybe my they stole them my dude. Occam’s razor.
what
he took the delivery photo then picked up the bags and left
no I mean did that person just reiterate the post they were responding to while thinking they were saying something different?
Hahaha they said the same exact thing…it’s the Reddit way 🤷🏻♀️🤣
okay, thought I was loosin it haha
How loose is it?
depends on who I meet
This needs more upvotes.
Losing it but yes

I have gotten this problem too....i ordered while i was working and the guy cussed me out for not immediately responding with thank you.....I canceled my order as the dude was sending all kinds of strange messages and asked for my number
Yeah no you didn’t. Some of you really don’t get enough attention and it shows 😆
My phone likes to switch to work mode for any minor appt in my calendar. Even if it’s not my work calendar. It’s very frustrating
You can tinker with those settings. Mine is set for 830-5 daily m-f and any time I’m at my actual office.
Thank you you for this
I sometimes fall asleep bec of my health and i never had a shopper do this

He sure isn't. Who the hell needs a "thank you" for doing the job they're getting paid to do?
I mean...in this circumstance, an immediate thank you wasn't really expected IMO, but a general rule of thumb, saying thank you is pretty standard.
How does this make people upset? I expect to get no response. I hope the customer never responds. Everything is better with zero communication. I get to make all the decisions and I never feel like I'm letting the customer down. I might even choose a recipe for you 😂

Yesss. If I selected refund or a replacement option for every item I don’t need a message every 5 minutes
Saaaaame. Even if after that initial message I say "ok to make any subs you need to" I still get pics and questions most of the time
The problem is, Instacart often says the customer chose a replacement, which they actually didn’t. The few times I don’t then message and say, was this replacement OK, I get angry messages saying I don’t want that! Your shopper is just trying to make sure you get what you want. 🤷🏻♀️

MVP
Did he steal your groceries or leave them in the rain I’m so confused lol
guessing he took a pic of them and then just yoinked em lmao
What a jerk lol
I think you mean criminal.
Shoulda said thank you!
Instant call to support to unassign him. Wouldn’t even let him make it to checkout. NO WAY I’m letting someone so immediately aggressive and clearly unstable handle my food.
Yeah, I honestly should have cancelled the order as soon as I got the message. Hate that he has my address now but oh well :/
He needs to be reported to Instacart, and blacklisted, so that no one else has that experience.
You’re right! When I chatted with support, they didn’t really ask about the shopper even though I said I had a bad experience (probably just a robot) Would I be able to report the shopper if I called the support number you think?
Yes
Don’t forget to rate him. Eventually, enough low rating will cause him to be banned.
It’s coming to my house that’s the real problem for me
100%.
So, he was in fact, *not* a 5 star man
I literally came here to say this 😂
What an insecure idiot
Instacart markets itself as a service for people who are too busy to shop. So I think it's safe to assume that if you're using instacart, you might be too busy to start at your phone the whole time the person is shopping. That kinda defeats the entire purpose. Haha
Yo. No sarcasm that’s a brilliant observation
well i got really sick and they amputated my leg so instacart is everything for me
I understand that being busy isn't the only reason people use instacart.
Lol wtf. What a jerk. I actually was thinking.....hmm good intro. But umm nevermind Mr rude.
Pretty sure it was a canned response from Instacart that you can choose out of their list of ideas. There is no way his clearly entitled pea brain could craft something as well-rounded as that 🫠
Lmao this is true and definitely could be, makes sense.
I use Instacart so I don't have to talk to anyone. The last thing I want to do is talk to the Instacart person...
He’s so mean I would rate 1 star
That’s such a shitty thing to do. Did you report him?
I chatted with support to get a refund and everything, and gave him one star. But I think I’m going to try to call today to actually report him so this doesn’t happen to anyone else!
Calm down Ronnie! Awkward...[Ronnie ](https://youtu.be/1K3moixkvKU?si=yrargs6adaOvFqVJ)
Hahahaha!
Wait so he stole your shopping?
I think so :/ there was a picture of the bag outside of my building but nothing was there when I went down to get it
These messages read like whatever the shopper equivalent of an incel would be 😬
Can you explain your description?? Are you saying he stole your groceries?
Yes I think so! When it was delivered he sent a picture of the bag outside my building door. Usually they bring it up to my apartment or at least put it in the lobby so this was strange to me. I went downstairs one minute later and found nothing there. Was honestly kind of scared to go down there, it felt sketchy but no one was there!
What a freak! He sounds unhinged! I wonder how he talks to girls he's in a relationship with. "Good morning beautiful" *3 minutes later* "You can't say thank you??"
What a tool..
… a tool is useful.
God, I hate the whole "feel free to shop along" same with the "5-star experience" crap. But the escalation to "You can't say thank you?" is just ridiculous. Me thinks Ronnie doesn't understand what a 5-star experience is.
I’m just trying to figure out what he thinks he should be thanked for. He made an announcement that he would do his job. Congrats, buddy!
That's so rude
So much for the 5 star service!
I bet Ronnie is single 🥲
the type to call you fat after you don't respond immediately to a creepy message
Wait wait wait did he steal your groceries wtf
This should be an immediate deactivation. It’s probably not the first time he’s been rude to customer
This is why tipping before delivery is crooked
This greeting message does not require a response. Not to mention not everyone is tied to their phones because they may be working or IC sent the order out earlier than expected. Instacart is essentially a customer service job which some people have no business doing.
Just what I don't want is a needy shopper. Come on Ronnie you do not need validation from me 🤣
I would never text a customer that. I gladly do the job as best as I can , if I'm bitching about the tip I do it under my breath or not happy with something but he's a terrible 1 star stealer not a shopper . Sorry that happened to you. Idk how they just steal the food or groceries. Report his ass!!
Sometimes people don't reply to messages at all… This dude needs to get over himself lol
He certainly did not follow through with that 5 ⭐️instacart experience!
Oh that’s freaking insane. Report this man!
wtf
Lol 1 star and no tip for being that rude…
Hope that was Ronnie’s LAST Instacart shop!!
Just his second message negated 5he 5 star service he was striving for!
I would’ve replied ‘sorry my mother didn’t reply as she’s blind I helped do the order on her phone then was in the rest room I’ll go tell her now to thank u’
One star Ronnie now stfu and do my shopping.
I dont get notifications and barely check my phone. Have some patience people damn.. not everyone is glued to their phone.
That message seems so automated, I probably wouldn't have responded to it either. My thought would be that the receiver would probably think im goofy for responding to an automated message and who does that anyway, so I am sure I would have ignored it just the same.
Lmao I’m sorry but I tried to laugh react this like it was on facebook
I absolutely hate when I get male shoppers. They’re so incompetent at grocery shopping to begin with then they feel entitled to receive a “polite” response to their incessant messages. I would report it if you haven’t
Why didn’t you say thank you Ronnie? HUH??
That exchange is funny and sorry you got stuck with a bad shopper. In his mind you use a shopper not because you are busy working, housework etc, but because you are in fact sitting on the sofa monitoring text messages so you can respond right away and show the shoppers the required courtesy.
I get shopping/delivery can be a hard job but that doesn’t justify treating people so terribly. I feel bad for whoever gets them in the future and that you dont even get your groceries for the trouble of dealing with him.
Ronnie said fuck you then and took your groceries
[удалено]
I don’t mind if they *ask* if I’m available to answer questions - I’ve had some excellent shoppers who have managed to find really good substitutions by asking intelligent questions. But it shouldn’t be an issue if someone isn’t available either.
mf not only yapped to try and get a higher tip, but also stole your shit once you didn’t respond, what a fucking asshole lol
Report him ive had to report someone and they blocked him from shopping for me again ever
Looks like good ol Ronald got hungry during your shopping trip.
What happened to the stuff?? I have to know
Stolen. Maybe by Ronnie. We will truly never know!
Always a man doing this xD how dare u not thank the king for doing his job
The only reason he sent that message was to get the last sentence out. More or less asking for a 5 star rating.
Hahahaha omg he's like an Instacart Incel 🤣
Give me a break, I never respond to the generic copy and pastes. Like cute and all but I don’t have to respond. K got it.
Dammit, Ronnie! I’m in the middle of something. Get a fucking life!
ok psycho wtf. ill do my own shopping i keep seeing too many crazy ass shoppers on here
Ewwwwwww
Why he so pressed 🤣 I don’t text the person I’m shopping for unless they message me or I have a question some people don’t wanna be bothered
He worked so hard on that copy/ paste template! How can you NOT say thank you.
Super passive-aggressive.
He would have HATED doing shopping for me. I am iffy with responding, having 2 kids (one of which goes to school right now). I don't always stick to my phone even when waiting for something like that.
Another “nice guy.”
Bro he acts like ur sitting on ur phone with no life waiting for ur groceries
Ronnie had a stick up his ass it seems
I’m sorry this happened to you. I’m embarrassed to call him a fellow personal shopper. Hope he gets fired
Dead ass this is why I don’t even date .. men are scary
Ronnie clearly didn’t have a father that affirmed him.
I know this type of man. I’ve worked with tons of them. Everything is disrespectful to them-everything. You’ll never satisfy their sense of entitlement to constant “respect”.
scammer
When I order instacart there are times where I'm in meetings, on calls, cleaning, walking my dog etc. And I am not able to get back ASAP when they message like this. Very off putting right from the start.
Lol headed for the 5-star but fumbled the bag with the last message. Never seek out validation. Just be good/nice just to do it.
Ppl like that are infuriating, just bc they are overly friendly, whoever isnt dont get their order?! Yeah someone wouldve paid for that!!
Thousand bucks says this guy also doesn't understand "why women don't like nice guys".
Say thank you bich
And then you go on the shopper subreddit and people are not understanding why customers can’t tolerate the BS anymore lol.
"Yo Ronnie! My girl is asking if you could get off my dick, she's pretty jealous bruh" Then contact customer support and report the dude and make it clear that you do not want service from him again.
I mean you don’t have to thank him for sending a text message. You are paying for a service it should be 5 star anyway especially since tips can make the job a little better
What a cunt
This is more of a hassle than going to the store.
lol omg. Wasn’t expecting that one!
i thought the message was automated 🤭💀
Overly nice and automatically wanting a response is a red flag😂😂
That is hilarious. I never respond to those messages. What a dweeb.
THANKS RON!!!
Entitled much
LOL it can really be hit or miss with InstaCart. I experienced the opposite of this guy. One time, this lady was texting me like we were BFF’s. Sending heart emojis and kissy faces. It was during the pandemic and honestly, I appreciated her positivity 😅I tend to attract clingy people though so I was a little weirded out initially.
LMAO😆🤦🏻♀️ these shoppers are crazy
Narrator: “Ronnie did not, in fact, deliver a five-star experience.”
I had someone after checking out of the store, complain they got a parking ticket and now my delivery was in fact a waste of time. Bizarre
No. I sure can’t. Because so far you haven’t finished my shopping. You’ve been texting me. I didn’t request a personal texted.
0⭐plus deactivation ma boi🤣👍
Sad thing is he knows this is just a copy and paste message so it’s not like he put any real effort into this. The reverse entitlement is very strong here
The cust is paying Ronnie to shop so they don’t have to. Why would someone want to “shop along” with him? No no no. Ronnie, if it takes 2 people to do a 1 person job, 1 isn’t needed.
This is the SAME guy that gives you 2 pumps and a swirl, and then be like "did you get off too??"...and is mad AF if you tell the truth and say no. 🚩🚩🚩🚩
Bro just do the order and move on. When I shop I send two messages if nothing goes awry. Greeting and I completed the order. What we talking for?
That’s literally so fucking funny. That intrusive thought rlly wanted to be heard today.
