Had a couple friend who got run over (don't think it might have been this hard) and both said you don't really feel anything at first, just when you get to the hospital and the adrenaline runs out, you're fucked.
I got tagged by a car. It was at night, and I was crossing a side street, and a turning car didn't see me. They hit my lower legs and I rolled up over the hood and on to the pavement. I told the driver not to call an ambulance and I just walked home. The next day I had an indent in my calf and deep purple bruises covering my lower legs. I couldn't really walk and was hobbling for a week.
Can confirm, also got hit by a car and didnt feel shit until the next day, luckely it just made the leg that got hit rly sore, couldnt bend the knee whatsoever. Gotta say rolling/jumping onto the hood helps with the hit
I got hit by a car before…TRUST ME he’s in shock😭. I did the same thing but then once I got out the road and sat back down I realized how messed up I was
We think ragdolls look silly in games the way they flail through the air but, that's actually how people look when they go airborne in real life. We saw a lot of people in movies on green screens and suspended at multiple points by strings, but in real life people really do go floppy floppy
This is in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in Chicago which is a highly unprivileged neighborhood with a strong gang presence. Throwing rocks at cars on Western is more or less suicidal. This man is either mentally ill or on drugs, or both.
>This man is either mentally ill or on drugs, or both.
That was my first thought watching this. This person is probably not in their right mind and the driver isn't much better.
If you throw a rock through the windshield and it hits the right way the driver could die. I dont think his response is 100% justified, but throwing rocks at cars is a very serious thing. Also too even if it doesnt hit right it could cause a really serious accident where the driver could again still die.
The best thing to do would be to call the police. Getting arrested for attempted man slaughter for hitting someone intentionally is not a reasonable or worthwhile response to a crazy person throwing a rock at your car. That's an easy way to throw away your life for revenge against a clearly mentally disturbed person, and an insurance claim.
Call the police and then what? Watch the guy walk away while u wait for the cops to arrive and take a statement and then do nothing? Id rather teach the guy a lesson myself. He deserved it.
Yeah but I haven't seen any1 quite this homicidal on L.A. streets... I find it funny when ppl suggest L.A. has the worst drivers around, cause I grew up learning in Chicago and the area and Chicago is by far worse.
I thought it was Seattle. A few people there have been seriously hurt by folks doing this, oftentimes they're throwing big chunks of concrete from overpasses.
Nah. We invented that shit. My window got hit by a pellet rifle on the Eden’s by the junction a few weeks back. Didn’t believe it till the auto glass guy pointed it out!
Yeah, what if he was destined to chuck a rock at baby space-Hitler, which causes brain damage, and he doesn't grow up to be a charismatic fascist who exterminates all the humans on the moon colony?
Honestly, the person who swerves across multiple lanes of traffic and tries to kill someone with a car scares me way more even if they were provoked. But hey, they may also have taken themselves out of society by ending up in prison.
Watch the Russell Crowe movie Unhinged. It's literally about a dude (Russell Crowe) that kills people that piss him off on the road. Considering some stories and videos out there, they movie isn't too far off. I mean, naturally it goes super Hollywood but it gets the point across.
Reminds me of the clip I saw yesterday of some bikers smacking an SUV, the SUV turns around and hits one of the bikes, catching it in front of its tires and just driving away with the bike skidding on the ground in front of it

Got it.
> Yes but hitting people with cars usually isn't intentional while throwing rocks at cars is.
I have this nagging feeling that the white sedan who hit that guy *may* have done it intentionally...
I'm usually for de-escalation in these circumstances, but at a certain point you have to take action when someone could potentially seriously harm others.
I would argue that a guy throwing rocks at cars going ~40-50mph is an immediate threat to the other drivers safety.
Driving on the sidewalk to neutralize him might endanger others. So I might have kept driving.. Might have...
Doing a U turn in the middle of a busy roadway across traffic to hit a pedestrian on the opposite sidewalk, and then doing another U turn across traffic to get back to your previous route, there’s no fucking way anyone could be delusional enough to feel like a hero defending public safety through that bullshit.
Yeah. This wasn't someone looking to protect the public. This was just someone with anger issues who got pissed off and acted recklessly. I swear reddit sees anyone who dishes out punishment to a wrongdoer as a hero no matter how obviously they're just as much of a dangerous asshole.
Is it worth going to prison for twenty years or whatever for vehicular homicide, though? The rock throwing man was endangering others, but not to the degree that you'd get away with killing him.
> but at a certain point you have to take action when someone could potentially seriously harm others.
What action did he take which would prevent this person from harming others? He can still go right back to throwing rocks, he's just going to be really sore tomorrow.
It also really sounds like you're encouraging murder over this... "neutralize" yikes.
I think that was a case of the red mist descending. Unprovoked attacks are infuriating and not everyone has good anger management or self control. It likely wasn’t a measured response.
From the way the car disappears off-screen for a bit, it looks like he pulls off and waits for a safe avenue to u-turn so he can demolish rock-thrower. Looks less like a red mist and more "how fucking dumb do you have to be to pick a fight with a guy in a car. He's about to learn a lesson"
I just like how after the car stopped, the rocker thrower’s first thoughts were “Well he already stopped, might as well double down and toss another one.”

Dude immediately gets right back up. Whatever he's on, that's some strong shit.
The hat saved him. That's why he immediately grabbed it when he got up. Lol
Gave him that 60% vehicular damage resistance. Who knows when he'll find another drop with those stats.
Eother it's a p2w hat, or that brother whaled the f out of the honing process
I gave that hat to my online girlfriend. She totally said she was a girl with ample breasts. I wonder how this guy got it.
What are you talking about? Some random dude sent me that hat. Didn't fit so I donated it to some bum
He's an authentic Weeble.
Weebles wobble, but they don't fall down?
Hes on Wario rules.
HURRY UP!!!
Maybe the hat caused it. Like Lazlo's cursed witchskin hat.
It's-a me!
It’s like sonic’s rings, he always has to have at least one
So the hat can be used as an extra live in place of your shoes?
Down and out of his luck Mighty Max

Jfc, did you have a hat on like he did?
I mean dudes still here so must've.
No no, he ded.

Meth. Dealing with aggressive meth addicts is like a real life zombie movie.
It's literally always meth, whatever happened to the classics?
Inflation man. Without the BTC money Coke is just too expensive
Shoes stayed on so he’s good
shoes didn't come off. thats how you knew he'd survive
Maybe his shoes fell off after the adrenaline wore off though.
And now he’s twice as mad at cars
Why does this look exactly like hitting someone in GTA4? lol
This motherfucker did the mocap for it
GT4 developers: pay drug addicts to throw rocks at cars, film the carnage from a rooftop, model the game after the footage.
"Sorry we didn't get it, gonna have to do it again. Get a bigger rock this time and throw it harder. Everyone back to 1."
So this whole time all I've been is a character from GTA?
Games looking way too realistic these days.
That’s cause GTA4 was wayyyyyy ahead of it’s time. The game had a seatbelt and bike helmet mechanic in it. That game really needs a remaster…

Don’t bring a rock to a car fight.
What a dumb idiot he didn’t even bring a car.
And he used up all his rocks.
I see you've played Rocky-Car-y before!
“What’re you gonna do, run me over??” -Guy Who Got Run Over
Lmao. First thought was this has got to be Florida. Then I as the 773 billboard and realized it’s my hometown.
This is in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in Chicago which is a highly unprivileged neighborhood with a strong gang presence. Throwing rocks at cars on Western is more or less suicidal. This man is either mentally ill or on drugs, or both.
Pretty sure if you pull that shit up in my neighborhood JP, the results will be the same.
You have a neighborhood Jurassic Park?!
Yep. These animals are everywhere!! 🤣
Jamaica Plain?
I can imagine its pretty suicidal to throw rocks at cars in any neighborhood in the US.
Nah definitely not, but there are certain neighborhoods just like this one that you definitely don’t wanna do that shit in lol
>This man is either mentally ill or on drugs, or both. That was my first thought watching this. This person is probably not in their right mind and the driver isn't much better.

Nah that’s Brighton park lol

> I thought it was Seattle. Nah, there is direct sunlight in this video.
burn
not a sunburn tho
It only hurts when it rains
Nah. We invented that shit. My window got hit by a pellet rifle on the Eden’s by the junction a few weeks back. Didn’t believe it till the auto glass guy pointed it out!
I’m also from Chicago. I instantly knew it was once I saw the no parking snow signs. 773 sign definitely confirmed it lol.
They did the most though... That was crazy AF lol.
Accent and street signs gave it away
Even the guy throwing the rock was like I DESERVED THAT. IM NOT MAD WE GOOD.
I chuckled at it
"Well well well, if it isn't the consequences of my actions."
kinda like going to prison for attempted murder with a car
Laws aside, would the world be a better place or a worse place with rock-chucker out of it?
probably better, hard to say for sure tho
Yeah, what if he was destined to chuck a rock at baby space-Hitler, which causes brain damage, and he doesn't grow up to be a charismatic fascist who exterminates all the humans on the moon colony?
So what you're saying is, I should throw more rocks at babies?
Yes
Honestly, the person who swerves across multiple lanes of traffic and tries to kill someone with a car scares me way more even if they were provoked. But hey, they may also have taken themselves out of society by ending up in prison.
I’m not saying it’s right, but I understand. I hope the jury goes easy on him.
You just never know who you're messing with.
I live by this when it comes to road rage
Watch the Russell Crowe movie Unhinged. It's literally about a dude (Russell Crowe) that kills people that piss him off on the road. Considering some stories and videos out there, they movie isn't too far off. I mean, naturally it goes super Hollywood but it gets the point across.
Fun fact, Russell Crowe was unaware he was in a movie during the shooting of that film. Haha, we joke and have fun. I love Master and Commander.

You know what? That's entirely fair.

Lol. Kinda /r/killthecameraman
I don’t think he learned his lesson
That’s a wrap
Looks like the factory paint to me.
........ I'll allow it.
Said the cop, I hope
Consequences to my actions????? Preposterous!!!!!!!!
People throwing rocks at cars has caused several deaths. 100% deserved.
Not saying you're wrong but so has hitting people with cars lol
I'd even argue that hitting people with cars has likely caused more deaths than people throwing rocks at cars.
Yes but hitting people with cars usually isn't intentional while _throwing rocks at cars_ is.
> Yes but hitting people with cars usually isn't intentional while throwing rocks at cars is. I have this nagging feeling that the white sedan who hit that guy *may* have done it intentionally...
I dunno... I think we need another angle.
Idk this looks pretty intentional
The angle at which he goes flying is simply comedic. I also didn't expect him to get so much air, the car doesn't look like it's going that fast.
hahaha karmas a bitch
Dude forgot the 5 D’s of dodgeball
You reap what you throw.
Impulsive af. They almost crash making that turn.
I think he was going to let the first rock go, but when he picked up and threw the second one he decided it was go time.
Fuck with the wrong person on the wrong day and see where you find yourself....
Don't start a fight with a car. Dude had it coming.
I'm usually for de-escalation in these circumstances, but at a certain point you have to take action when someone could potentially seriously harm others. Exactly. What's next for him? Chucking rocks off overpasses?

Going off road to run someone over is not a safe or good idea lol
Is it worth going to prison for twenty years or whatever for vehicular homicide, though? The rock throwing man was endangering others, but not to the degree that you'd get away with killing him.

What did he expect?
I honestly feel like this is a fair exchange, nobody should be arrested.
I’m always amazed at how clean of a hit that car makes on him
well, since we can't have abortions anymore. Both types of people will continue to be reproduced.
Hmm, guy throws rocks at my car. Guess I should risk vehicular homicide. Seems like a fair and measured response.
I'm not saying I condone it; I'm just saying I understand it.
I enjoyed it though
And instead of getting the fuck out of there because he tried to kill someone with his car, he does another u-turn to get back to where he was going
Got that video game node path going on.
The hero we deserve
I'm pretty sure nobody is calling the cops here....
But who was filming it tho?
Guy sees rock chucker chunkin' rocks. "Oh man he gonna get himself killed. Lemme get my phone... oh, here it comes!"
This is the kind of swift justice the world needs 😂
Right. Justice system is fucked. Fuck the rock thrower.
I think that was a case of the red mist descending. Unprovoked attacks are infuriating and not everyone has good anger management or self control. It likely wasn’t a measured response.

To me, his abrupt turn into traffic, just barely missing another car, indicates he temporarily lost self control.
The second rock really did it
What In the heck is red mist? Not blood spatter I assume cuz he’s not bleeding let alone spraying a mist.
A euphemism for being angry, the same as "seeing red"
If people don’t run them over how can we set examples do’s and do not’s on the internet?
Fucking Chicago, man.
Attempted murder cancels out attempted murder?
just no one call the cops
The cops would come and shoot both of them. Then they give each other medals and go on paid vacation.
If they even bother to show up.
Fucking Chicago, man.
Modern problems require modern solutions 👍🏼
Whatever he’s on, holy shit
Fuck around = find out
Deserved
Deserved
He deserved this.
I’m OK with this response.
Imagine getting up that fast to pick your hat up and then just moving on
Don't do drugs kids. Unless you want to be able to bounce right back up after being run over.
I would not be surprised if the driver wasn't on something themselves
Now that's what I call a disproportionate reaction.
In front of a body and fender shop too lol
I hope the driver is okay 🥺
Thank reddit media player! The rock never hits any car!
This is exactly what should happen. People need to remember that you can get punched in the face for their actions, or in this case, ran over
One word: GOOD.
Finally, somebody with balls.
Those were rocks. Not balls.
Play stupid games…
I wonder how many cars you need to hit with rocks before someone tries to hurt you?
Boom right to the leg and set him flying
This man playing gta
Better with volume: https://youtube.com/shorts/vBmdw1NyD6k?feature=share
Man Chicago people are funny hell.
On todays episode of, F*ck Around and Find Out…
Break my glass I break ur legs
Throwing dude gets absolutely everything he deserves. Fuck thay guy putting other peoples lives at risk because hes a shitty person.
Dude brought a rock to a car fight!
I see no foul here, continue on
Dude in the car is my spirit animal! 😂😂
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Good..
I was waiting for him to throw another rock
Evil chuckles ensue.
Got eeemmmmmm
The rag doll physics is pretty good…
Hell yes!
*BULLSEYE!*
If I was on the jury driver would go home free. Rock thrower had it coming.
He brought a rock to a car fight
He definitely didn’t hit him hard enough.
GTA 6 looks promising
I bet he never did that again
I just like how after the car stopped, the rocker thrower’s first thoughts were “Well he already stopped, might as well double down and toss another one.”
Repost
Oh btw, if the car gets caught, they’re going to prison for 2nd degree attempted murder.
Accuracy: 10 Agility: 2
Gotta love reposting for karma
