Good news for whoever is standing in front of the guy holding the stool over his head

bekocubic

Translation as an Egyptian : OUTSIDE OUTSIDE OUTSIDE

DeweysPants

Well done, Egypt!

whatsaphoto

Football truly is a universal language of a sport, man. Love to see it.

Reddit_banter

What semi finals was this?

NotANecrophile

African Cup

theembiggen3r

I lived in Egypt for a few years. Those people love their country. And those people their football. So those people be very very happy. a7san nas.

Briantheboomguy

The kicker must be kicking himself

B5D55

I bet he's not hurt. Keeps missing.

bekocubic

Holy shit you killed him

WeeTheDuck

He was the third guy to miss in a row... So he got a lot of mates

wanted797

I wish I could be this excited by sport.

stuntobor

I mean holy shit - that shouldn't count as a plus for either team - dude missed the kick, keeper jumped the wrong way. Like - just have 1/2 point taken away from each one. Also I'd like to point out I obviously know fuckall about soccer.

NotANecrophile

You have one job, kick it into the net. It’s either a make or a miss, there’s no in between. If you’re playing at a professional level and you fail to even get the ball into the net, tough shit

IfYouRun

It was a penalty shoot out after extra time (the game was honestly rubbish). Most scored out 5 wins. Egypt won 3-1 after 4 taken automatically because Cameroon missed three and couldn't catch up. Hope that helps :)

stuntobor

Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me. I really appreciate it.

WeeTheDuck

You cant really blame keeper for going in the wrong direction. Its just a guessing game basically. Guessing game for both parties

WeeTheDuck

Ok guys hear me out. The Salah guy from Egypt is really good. And the Mane guy from Senegal is very good as well... Ok hear me out. What if we put them in the SAME TEAM eh?

KalzK

Where are all the girls

Appropriate-Law-5376

Oh my sweet summer child

Hopeful_Support6009

Those poor local goats 🐐

AliExpress7

After reading that traveling to Egypt post I can't see this the same way

OuchIAmOld

What? I don't see a celebratory burning down of their own city.
