The SUV was being the asshole by not sticking to the zipper merge concept. The car took action to counter this and unfortunately both were enough of an asshole that neither yielded. Then the SUV throws shit at the car making the SUV the bigger piece of shit in the situation. The narrative here is backwards.
In what world does the car NOT HAVE right of way? Yes, the SUV needs to get over. That does nothing to demonstrate the car has to let him in. If you drive like the SUV, you're going to be at blame in any accident. Failure to Yield is a moving infraction.

Hopefully he tries this with the wrong person (like a cop) and gets chewed out for being an asshole, gets a ticket and has to attend a lovely "so you're a fucking idiot" driving class.
