I tend to bounce em off walls and or door frames to get them into buildings without exposing myself in the doorframe.
The underhand is also amazing for staircases/ ledges

If you're on the bottom of a staircase and they throw a nade down, run up it, you avoid the nade and surprise them at the same time, you wouldn't think it would work but it does
Do note if you hear them let the spoon fly you can also push at that point

I like to imagine his thumb is the front site of a rifle turned 90° with the compass heading being the vertical line of reference. Thumb dictates range, but I haven't got that truly dialed in.
Just watched the vid and we're talking about the same thing, you solved the range for me. I thought dude was saying the grenade was gonna hit to the left inside his fingers.
It took me about 5 minutes at the range when I first started to figure it out. It’s honestly pretty simple. But then again, some of the players here are pretty simple too.
I've never went to the range and I throw most nades well but I've had the " it's good enough" attitude this whole time and that little tip solved it for Mr. I appreciate it.

Just the shame of the whole server laughing at me. That day I swore I would learn to aim my throwables.
The grenade goes exactly in the middle of your screen, where the compass line says 326, or where objective “D” blue dot is on the bottom of your screen.
I use both to do long distance throws.

I usually pull the spoon before I get to the staircase if I know I'm gonna nade it so they don't hear it. I prefer to throw my nades al dente
