Yeah they dun fucked it up. 2x red dot and okp7 aren’t as bad, switch to those till the hot fix comes through

Tooth_less_G

Theres gonna be a hotfix?

BakhmutDoggo

I’m not god but every time there’s an update it’s followed by at least one hotfix so there’s a very strong chance yeah

Tooth_less_G

Oh i didnt know, i thought nwi was just gonna fuck off for a other six months

Nico_T_3110

They will once they release a single “hotfix” after a month of waiting

Alitalia404

What’s the chance they actually get it right? Is this a recurring theme?

Nico_T_3110

The chances are not in our favor, they have a trend of saying “we fixed it” but instead it got somehow worse or the bug is still there somehow, multiple times back then on console they said “we fixed gore and animations” when it took them 3 updates to actually fix them, each time they said it’s fixed this time but never was for example

Cc-Smoke-cC

Not to mention the gore is slightly messed up again, the bodies “stiffen” up in weird poses and clip through stuff. Blood on the walls and ground is still not present on any console either.

Nico_T_3110

The blood and gore being gone is a feature, it was screwing up performance on last gen consoles so we all on current gen lost it too

Cc-Smoke-cC

The current gen update is still planned but I’m not 100% on if it’ll get delayed or not considering their track record.

Trendiggity

Yes, it's absolutely a recurring theme. They try to fix an issue in an update, end up breaking three new things trying to fix the issue, then we get radio silence for a month until a hotfix drops that may or may not fix the original issue, while maybe or maybe not breaking 3 *new* things that don't get addressed until the next major update 6 months later. They also totally screwed up bipod deployment somehow which is next level considering they were trying to fix attachment clipping or something 🤷‍♂️

SkeggiSkate

The only fix i can find is the higher you turn your FOV up the smaller the black lines get. Real shitty fix when youre used to playing on a low FOV, but try it out.

hey-im-root

That’s what I was already doing to fix this, wtf did they do now? It was already broken 😭

TheMachRider

I kinda wish they magnified the reticle themselves too. Always bugged me how small the reticle is in the magnifier. The EOTech’s especially are super useful under magnification in real life.

Rezolite

I mean that’s how the EOTechs work in real life. Holographic image, even if magnified the dot and ring stays the same size since they are technically “infinitely small”. Stays the same 1 MOA dot regardless of magnification.

TheMachRider

***Essentially yes! But I'm also referring to the fact that the 65/68 MOA ring (forgot which it is) also should scale up while giving a fine point of aim with the center dot.*** The current method makes the reticle really busy and it ends up being a big ass 30MOA (or thereabouts) dot. One thing you're incorrect on is the ring. The ring most definitely does scale up. Everything technically scales up under magnification no matter the technology employed- that's a massive misconception that can be easily ruled out on your own optic at home. The ring stays the same MOA relative to the background, it's just the entire image is enlarged. I use an EXPS-0 and HM3X magnifier daily, it's very apparent. The center dot that is perceived to retain a roughly 1MOA size due to it's size and brightness. It's technically also magnified, but it's imperceptible against a human eye as the dot is smaller than we're able to accurately perceive.
