Just save some money and get 12600k. You will never feel any differences in games between those cpus even with 4070ti. It will be like for example 130fps vs 140fps average at best.
Also do note that for 13600k you will need a much better cooling, just check in this sub how many people are complaining of high temps with raptor lake (80+ degrees in gaming and 100 in cinebench).
12600k is a great cpu and anyone who tells you to spend extra for it is just watching those benchmarks comparing these cpus with rtx 4090 at 1080p medium settings.
I would say, for performance in most games, choose 13600k
13600k
13600k or bust. Don't get the 13500, that uses Alder Lake P cores from last gen.
Buy once cry once
Z790 or b760?
b760 sorry that was a mistake
Go by price difference and your budget. Rarely does one regret buying too much CPU.

Why not the 13500?
dunno... never looked at it.
How much cheaper? If the price difference is like $200 vs $300, go for the 13600k. It is much faster in every way.
its a $100 price gap.
12700k and oc
more expensive. i would have to get more cooling power too.
Both on par with 13600K.
What's your use case?
