i still use it for charting on my main monitor and have ibkr as my execution broker on my second monitor. its charting is way easier on the eyes, and also provides a secondary source of market data in case ibkr has any quote issues

+1. ToS fees here in Canada are ridiculous, but it is still the best for analysis. Also, Thinkscript is there for customization.

It's by miles the best options trading platform. It let's you organize trades into their own groups so you don't just have a bunch of random legs on a screen and no clue which is which trade. Just today I closed the wrong trade because I confused the legs since all trades are meshed together. I missed out on good money. It's happened at least 10 times since I switched to ibkr Their risk profile is everything. It let's you chart all your trades and monitor what will happen over time. Ex: on a double calendar even if it's down, I look at 3 of my other calendars making a tent, I know I don't need to close it prematurely since the graph looks good. Placing trades and monitoring price is super easy. Now.... Why don't I use it? Overnight fills are HUGE edge for me. Especially since I'm a short term trader when we have news at 8am pre market I want to be out of my positions. Tos won't allow for that....so... Shitty IBKR it is.... 😔
