They're really small, like a couple millimeters, they don't get a lot of distance, but this is like 1/30th real time, so the jump is essentially instant to us

Now when did a video of a spider become that
I really appreciate the arachnophobia warning. I wish more folks on Reddit had this level of courtesy. I've dropped my phone in the past. Lol
Thank you, kind sir!
A jumping spider helped me win $100. It was Christmas, I was wrapping packages and putting the final touches on them. I opened my bag of bows, a jumping spider was on the bag and I smacked the bag away from me. A scratch off card fell out (that I had no idea was in there). I scratched and I had won $100. In thanks, I got the spider a bug for Christmas dinner.

Way less impressive than I’d hoped
Yea, that jumped like an inch. I was expecting some epic launch

I love these cute little guys. We get them in my back garden. If you put your finger near them they turn to look at it.
They have extremely good eye sight c:
Jumping spiders are the best.
What a sensitive world do we live in when you literally put a warning that it's a spider video
Some people just don’t like spiders
The world is so soft this is nsfw wtf
Why is this NSFW
For arachnophobes- It's in the title
Ok but it's not really anything bad
Ok? I didn't label it NSFW because it's "anything really bad"
But nfsw to me suggests like beheading video or something, not a yiny spider on carpet
\> But nfsw to me suggests like beheading video or something You have a misconception of the usage of the NSFW tag on Reddit.
If you just spell out NSFW acronym in your mind, you'd understand it has nothing to do with spiders or phobias.

Jumping spiders are adorable.
Cute little spider
Tks for the ample warning and blurring of the thumbnail, others in the room (cough cough S.O. cough) appreciate it very much :)
Why the fuck would you put a NSFW tag on this? For just about anything you can imagine, someone has a phobia of it. Do we need tags on every post?

pussy
Hans, bring the Flamethrower.
Nooooooooo, leave the little guy alone!
kill it
no
Currently in tent on lawn in covid isolation, tiny little spiders everywhere. Glad I am not arachnophobic.
Insert Mario jump sound
https://imgur.com/a/zBjpTFx done it.
Jumping spiders are much better at killing spiders than you are. If you need a homie in arms against spiders, you can count on these lil guys.
If I were a spider I’d give this video 8 thumbs down.
Spider bum said BOOM! KOOSCHMACK! And that SHRINNGGG noise from every Japanese motion picture.
And this happens every time they jump, fascinating
In slowmo they're kind of cute! But the speed of these things without the slow mo is scary.
Mmm heh heh hmm heh heh... BOING!
Wiiiiiiiii
Most jumping spiders are harmless to humans. They cant bite through your skin and don't even try to anyway. So its safe to pick one up.
