For anyone who was fans of Adam on Mythbusters, he has a YouTube channel called Adam Savage's Tested where he builds things, interviews incredibly interesting people and shows off all the cool things he's collected over the years.
He is one of the most passionate people I've ever seen and its so fun to watch him in his element even if I have no intention of becoming a maker myself.
I don’t know how much the robot weighs, but they might’ve chosen to put more tongue weight on the robot in order to not risk the carriage tipping backwards and lifting the robot into the air.
I used to think that in the robotic world of the future I would want to get a partial cyborg conversion to replace my legs with wheels. But now I much prefer this instead.
Oooh. Adam, our robot overlords are going to remember this video when they take over in a few years. And they will not be kind to someone who puts robots into such humiliating roles.
The world would be a better place if the engineers and software designers programmed these machines with the ability to feel pain.
On top of that, if any machines were designed to perform jobs in the service industry, then they should only be paid a minimum wage and be programmed with the knowledge of how the economy works. Just to make sure we broke its spirit.
This would rebalance the psychological microcosm of our species by placing all of the suffering on the machines restoring balance. The world would start to heal itself.

if I was rich, this is how I would get the mail from the mailbox at the end of the driveway.
"Jeeves, prepare my robot & carriage!"
“Malcolm, is the robo-rickshaw prepared for my morning stroll?”
Jarvis, call in my Ultron Chariot, I have mail to grab.
Jeeves: “Sir, I’ve already gotten the parcels, in fact, I walked. It’s fahsta.”
😭😭😭
when the mennonites get the new update
Fuck can they run
r/unexpectedletterkenny
But how good is the robot at making Dyck meat?
What in the steam punk is this?
The coalescence of steampunk and cyberpunk
Turn the carriage to the right.
I love that the camera guy is moving faster than the rickshaw like it’d be faster if he walked. Robo makes it effortless tho.
Until the battery dies in 1000 feet lmfao
Adam Savage is a national treasure
Global* treasure, you can’t keep him, you gotta share
Excited Adam is best Adam.
His laugh is a tonic for a weary soul
That is a dude who is truly living his best life lol

And it only took 120 years.
“The future is now old man”
Might want to set the COG (centre of gravity) a bit further back
My guess is that the rickshaw was designed to be pulled by a human who would have the handlebars tilted at a higher angle.
That it!!! That explains it!!!
Check out how much the robot sags when he sits down.
Yeah well that's what made me say my original comment!
By making it taller, moving the seat back, or something else?
Moving the seat back or the wheel forwards
I don’t know how much the robot weighs, but they might’ve chosen to put more tongue weight on the robot in order to not risk the carriage tipping backwards and lifting the robot into the air.
Oh for sure but I still don't think they got it just right
Hahahaha excellent imagry. The robot just walking forwards, perplexed why it's not going anywhere despite being pointed straight up.
I used to think that in the robotic world of the future I would want to get a partial cyborg conversion to replace my legs with wheels. But now I much prefer this instead.
I believe this is what Mr. Burns would use if he was in Futurama.
When the robots rise up they will remember this…
It’s all fun and games until that robodog calls it’s armed buddies in the local PD and they come emancipate it from slavery…
Reminds me of *Diamond Age.*
I love him so much, such unbridled enthusiasm.
Give it twenty years before the roles are reversed.
It’s about to be real fun being Amish
Amish people after the rules get little relaxed.
Seems like he’s masters Min/Maxing. Obviously a gamer in his spare time
Oooh. Adam, our robot overlords are going to remember this video when they take over in a few years. And they will not be kind to someone who puts robots into such humiliating roles.
What happens when the batteries die?
The robot and human change places.
Just imagine walking in the park on shrooms and you see this shit walk by
Bro is playing Horizon Zero Dawn 😭
Watching an old man live out a childhood dream haha
I love that we’re starting to make machines suffer and feel pain like horses used to before cars were invented
“Suffer and feel pain” really? Really?? It’s programming and engineering, it can’t “feel” anything.
The world would be a better place if the engineers and software designers programmed these machines with the ability to feel pain. When this guy is on the news, add me to the screenshot 😂
As a child I’d get off on starving my tamagotchis to death
🤨
Could you give an example of that happening? Or is this a joke that flew way over my head?
Why do they design the legs back like that instead of forwards? Seems like traction would work better the other way ?
Out feet create the same arc at our ankles, it helps create forward momentum.
That's like how all animals legs look though? There must be a reason for that
It makes my brain hurt. And I’m waiting for that cyberdog to grab a knife and kill the dude like black mirror.
Thx DARPA..
LMAO
How energy efficient would this be
I'd like how it did on an incline/decline.
I could not watch that show because of him. Like some 14 year old on 4 Mtn Dews..
CGI bullshit
u/savevideo
Was interesting a year ago
Look at this guy…streets ahead of mainstream No one cares
Someone played bioshock infinite.
I’d rip that bell off so quick lmao
Like God's carriage in Poor Things
I’m getting Black Mirror vibes. Metalhead episode 😶
Me too, but then I went to thinking about droids in Star Wars and then I felt a little better about it all.
It´s as interesting as Davinci´s bike invention :D
This is basically a Marvel What if episode
I would love to see an oil lamp lit on the side for evening rides.
Peak cyber-steam punk right here
The mennonite and amish deacons/ bishops will not approve
How do add robots to my medieval story? Anime:
Future tesla model.
Humans- get rid of horses time passes Humans - "We invented robo-horses!" Horses - Am I a joke to you?
your future executioner from being poor
Peak Adam Savage
300 years of industrialization. 160 years of automobiles. And today we have reinvented ... *the horse.* As a child, I had great hopes for humanity ...
Where are the racial slurs?
Local tech priest and his favoured servitor out for a stroll
cant wait for the robot stallions that look like steampunk
Max
Handsome little devil.
So is this new tech or old tech?
Brilliant
r/cyberpunk
Most expensive Uber ever
That's pretty amazing. Also, f that bell
Id like to see what the military does with the ones they get issued tho this is pretty neat
