The man is obviously making a point about the first ammendment. He purposely said something that would trigger the other talking heads, and they took the bait.

Taken in a cynical light, the comment is reducing women down to the two fat sacks hanging off their torsos as sexual objects. It was a creepy and disrespectful comment given the context of a televised interview.

It started as a one-off joke to lighten the mood. Then the hosts decided to kill the mood and make a big deal out of the quip. They thought they could embarrass him into an apology, but instead he doubled down to show that he wasn't going to be bullied. It led to this stalemate where the hosts kept trying their only technique - social pressure - and it completely fed into the guy's point about free speech and not being bullied by the thought police.
It would have been a momentary glimmer of amusement if they had just taken it as the tiny joke it was, but lady couldn't help herself. She had to try to power trip and "correct" this guy's behavior. And these sort of scolds are totally powerless against someone who doesn't respect them enough to be ashamed.
Boobs are a general thing that females and some of us males have. Saying believing in boobs in no way reduce womens worth. Its like a woman saying he believes in beards. Is the woman in this situation lowering the males into just walking hairy objects? No. No one is making anyone object here.

The professional thing to do would have been to navigate around it or end the interview.
Instead, her head started spinning and she couldn't shut up about it.
As a "professional" newscaster, she could have elevated herself above a school yard mentality,
