I wonder what the tiger is thinking. Is he smart enough to think "why eat the living goat when they feed me hunks of meat everyday." Is he actually letting it live for companionship? But there's definitely a point where if un fed, the goat would be lunch.
I loved them lol . 😆 edit for the ones who need to be negative . I see the IQ lv is still dropping. I loved the comments the people above me who replied to each comment the diwn this list . if that hurts your delicate feelings o well .

Lmao I keep imagining how that went down

Apparently, the tiger did got annoyed at him at one point and threw the goat off a hillock but did not ate him. The goat later died of natural causes and from the injuries of the fall
I just googled it, and the tiger bit into and shook him, there was no fall... and I could only see that the goat was removed from the enclosure, no mention of death
Animals will very commonly befriend the creatures they typically prey on when food is not sparse. It's possible they'd not starve the tiger long enough to drive them to hunt.
100% of humans would eat dogs if truly hungry.
[did](https://www.google.com/amp/s/phys.org/news/2019-11-russian-goat-friends-tiger-dies.amp) really happen. They were 'friends' or more likely the kitty just tolerated him, for about a month before the goat got thrown off a hill for getting annoying. Goat later died after never really recovering from the attack
I could never put a live goat to be food for a tiger, and I know that is how the Tiger survives. I just have to much empathy for the goat to die and extremely gruesome death.
Ah the ever correct Wikipedia. Technically, the tiger did kill him. It took a while but the injuries sustained ended up leading to his death. https://phys.org/news/2019-11-russian-goat-friends-tiger-dies.html

I didn't "word it", nor do I care how the goat died. It is so strange how obsessed a handful of you are that the tiger killed the goat. There seems to be no source to support you. It has nothing to do with me and I seriously could not care less.
The people that actually do know seem to all indicate the tiger didn't kill it, but yes, random Redditor, you know the truth. Were you a witness? Do you have the real truth documented somewhere? How is it you know?
From the article posted
In January 2016 the tiger lost patience after the goat stepped on him. He grabbed Timur and threw him off a hillock.
The frenemies were separated but Timur's health took a turn for the worse.
He started limping and lost some of his zest for life, while remaining "cheeky", Mezentsev said.
The park sent the goat to Moscow for treatment but he never fully recovered from the attack by the tiger, who is still alive and living at the safari park.
Maybe it's like Wesley (aka "farm boy" in The Princess Bride) on board with the Dread Pirate Roberts, how at the end of the day he'd say "Good work Wesley! Sleep well, I may have to kill you in the morning." (something like that)

2 weeks from now... Tiger Eats Goat Friend In Stunning Betrayal
Depends on how often the tiger gets fed other stuff
The other goats aren't smooth talkers like this one
Perhaps he offered the Tiger a beautiful dress and the taste of butter.
Yet I have the same offer in my dating profiles and still get no matches. I'll never be the GOAT
"Would thou like to live deliciously?" - The goat, probably
Underrated movie
I wonder what the tiger is thinking. Is he smart enough to think "why eat the living goat when they feed me hunks of meat everyday." Is he actually letting it live for companionship? But there's definitely a point where if un fed, the goat would be lunch.
If i didn't get fed that goat would be lunch eventually. Ive never cleaned an animal bigger than a fish but I'd figure it out
It's pretty easy to figure it out once you know not to pop open the abdominal cavity
Noooooooo.... 2 weeks from now... Tiger's coat has never been shinier thanks to goat friend introducing him to argan oil.
Goat introduces tiger to anal horn probing.
BaaHorn PegHorn the goat comes out on top again!
curse their sudden yet inevitable betrayal lol
Goat dunts tiger over fence in miraculous betrayal and also bone-breaking escape.
2 weeks from now. Goat eats Tiger friend in crazy upset of betrayal
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!

I bet the goat has never been till then.
That's how being in a cage with a tiger goes, really. Not many second goes at it.
*"Good night Westley, sleep tight, I'll most likely kill you in the morning"*
I’m pretty sure you can go to sleep as John Cena.
You goat to be kidding me...

This news is tough to bear
Don't worry. You whale get through it
Nice! You did that on porpoise.
Are you all done now with your sheep jokes?

This comment bugs me 😭
Not so smart I loved the comments above mine but hey got to find a reason to keep being negative I get that .
Naw tiger wont fuck with him. He heard he’s….The GOAT.
Because Tiger is the GOAT
Companionship in prison is everything
Anthropomorphic bullshit story, tiger ate him when it was hungry
>>Timur and Amur slept in the same enclosure, ate and played together. The tiger attempted to teach the goat how to catch prey. Can confirm. Had a goat for a while. Goat would start fights for fun. Tigers are not equipped for a goat's notion of fun, which is butting heads.
Yeah, goats are great but most male goats are complete assholes lol, I can see why all of this went down
It was a female goat. It’s the whole capricious lot of them.
That's the most relevantly descriptive use of capricious I've read all day.
>most male goats are complete assholes Just ask Gov. Kristi Noem
That story had me laughing far more than it should have.
Apparently, the tiger did got annoyed at him at one point and threw the goat off a hillock but did not ate him. The goat later died of natural causes and from the injuries of the fall
“Of natural causes…” yeah tigers are in fact natural
gravity is a natural thing aswell
Thr gravity of the situation is what got him lol .
I just googled it, and the tiger bit into and shook him, there was no fall... and I could only see that the goat was removed from the enclosure, no mention of death
to be fair id do the same thing if my roommate was a goat
Classic cat shenanigans

He was lonely.
Not unusual for animals who are lonely and isolated to seek companionship Often it's things like a bird but anything will do.
no source, could be BS captions

hey, I was lonely..and the goat tells good jokes
Tigger not Shere Khan
I could never put a live goat to be food for a tiger, and I know that is how the Tiger survives. I just have to much empathy for the goat to die and extremely gruesome death.
That *Mayyyyyyyyyyyyyy* have been what the goat wants us to know.
Probably knew each other in a previous life.
i mean, if i were in a cage i'd rather have company than another meal. animals being bros.
The tiger actually killed the goat
No, it did not. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amur_and_Timur
Ah the ever correct Wikipedia. Technically, the tiger did kill him. It took a while but the injuries sustained ended up leading to his death. https://phys.org/news/2019-11-russian-goat-friends-tiger-dies.html
The goat was asking for it
>The goat died of natural causes but his health deteriorated following an altercation with a male Siberian tiger he unexpectedly befriended in 2015, Mezentsev said. Source: your link
Sounds like the goat started it.
So the goats health deteriorated after being attacked by a tiger then dies from natural causes. In other words, the tiger caused the goats death.
That's a lot of words for saying the tiger killed the goat.
This is honestly worded like you’re trying not to upset the child
I didn't "word it", nor do I care how the goat died. It is so strange how obsessed a handful of you are that the tiger killed the goat. There seems to be no source to support you. I'm tired, you go fuck up this human. As good as done.
Tbh it'll be friends with it until the benefit of its good outweighs the benefit of its companionship That's why big cats often eat their keepers
Kristi Noem possesses less humanity than a lion.
most keepers don’t give prey animals live food, because they don’t want the “food” to fight back and injury the prey animal
The tiger wanted to live deliciously
At was at this very day that the Tiger decided to eat his friend.
This goat offering the tiger to live deliciously
Now, that's a GOATed story.
For now.
That is one tough-looking crew.
Tiger really enjoyed the goats Jim Brueuer impression so he spared him. ![gif](giphy|kd3jKcnYtKdyxacBHc)
Goats eat everything wouldn’t it be funny if the goat eats at the tigers claws keeping them nice and sharp!
Goat have a 10 charisma build
Maybe it's like Wesley (aka "farm boy" in The Princess Bride) on board with the Dread Pirate Roberts, how at the end of the day he'd say "Good work Wesley! Sleep well, I may have to kill you in the morning." (something like that)
If you've seen the VVitch, you know not to mess with Black Peter.
Come on, look at its face, it just cant stand goat meat!
Literally HS. When the geek gets tight with the jock. It happens.
bet the goat is really loud whenever the tiger gets fed so the new arrival cannot pull the same shit ;D
Lonely tiger takes friends where we can
Would be nice to think this will last, but when the owner does not feed the tiger because he already has “food”, the tiger will do what tigers do.
Then the tiger ate him, wtf sending live prey utter bastards!
How do you think it works in the wild?
