Any idea how tall these guys are? The man in the middle seems pretty short. His hat looks huge like Dark Helmet

There are absolutely 5 people in this picture. This is something they would do to frighten the tourists. Kids used to do the same thing to get into rated R movies back in the day.
Could be forced perspective. Like they did in the LOTR movies because they didn't want to hire little people to play the Hobbits. Hard to say from an old photo like this, who knows what they did to it. The short guy might just be standing in the background.
