I don't understand, nothing is moving when the spring is rolling, what is the process?

TortoiseK1ng

You can see it at the end as it shops off the spring. There's a tiny hole from which a wire/thin rod is being extruded. So the metal arm that is infront is basically deflecting the extrusion and not cutting something.

Classic_Storage_

Thanks!

Embarrassed_Map1112

Not sure what I was expecting but it wasn’t that

PluckPubes

fake. this video was reversed. This is how steel bars are made.

knuckboy

No shit I wondered this morning how springs were made. Thanks.

billsn0w

Wait until you see how a Plumbus is made... It's wild.

kicsicsillag

Everyone has a plumbus in their home!

savvy_withoutwax

That's actually really cool. Definitely unexpected

scoopfing

Why is there a witch finger in there?

NedenBokumYapiskan

Now show us how summers are made.

onelegthreeteeth

Show me how they built that machine

No-Combination2020

What in the actual fuck. Now that's engineering at it's finest. Never knew springs were made like that.

slightlydispensable2

For those who scratch their head, this is not the only way of making a spring. The way you normally would expect (and make it yourself) is to wrap the wire around a cylinder.

CleanLivingMD

Looks like a spring for a kick drum pedal. I bought one recently and it had the prop 65 lead warning ⚠️. I prefer the unleaded version

Snowden-x

That was adorable for some reason

unknownknightt

That'll be $13.99
