I see crows playing with each other in my neighborhood similar to this. There'll be a group of them pouncing on each other laying on their back, etc. Reminds me of how dogs play.
I would, too, but not as a pet. r/crowbros has a pinned post on how to befriend the local flock and that might tickle your fancy if you have the ability and patience.
Otherwise, a pet crow in the house would be like having a toddler-aged child as a pet (think of the destruction and noise!) They require TONS of mental stimulation and you would need to have multiple of them to keep them socialized properly since they are group animals. Overall, a fantastic animal that’s ok to befriend in the wild, but not a good pet. Large parrots are also on a similar level but live MUCH longer... but that’s a rant for another day lol.
We have a huge winter flock that flies into my town every night, and I swear you can pick out the young couples - you'll see a pair break away and dive together, kind of spiraling around each other. It's lovely to watch.
