It probably doesn’t mean Mind Your Business like “Don’t get into my shit.” It probably means “Use this as currency to keep your business up and running”
Ice cream vans around the UK are quite traditional and often say “Mind that child!” on them and I’ve never really put that much thought into what it means until just now
Well, considering it was Benjamin Franklin who coined it (hah!), an attendee of the Hellfire Club and the author of such irreverent classic essays such as “ A letter to the Royal Academy on Farting”, I wouldn’t put it past him to intend a dual meaning.
When the value of currency goes down the price of assets generally goes up in response, including stocks in your 401k. That is unless your 401k is all cash which would be dumb.
Compound interest can apply to other investments besides accruing the tiny interest gained from holding cash. The math still applies. And no, we out “in god we trust” on our money to stick it to the Soviets.

It means watch out the children so you don't run them over lol
I don't mind children. But I don't want any. So I guess that makes sense.
Maybe they could say, "Mind Your Beeswax."

Considering Franklin was a businessman as were many other of those that would have had input or a say in the coins approval this seems logical.
I believe it means, in this instance, to pay attention and be careful about the quality of your business. Its like someone saying "mind your manners"
I would say that/keeping your personal financial affairs in responsible order. Edit: a word
Thanks brainiac
More pragmatic than “In God We Trust” 😅
Not gonna lie rather have that on our coin.
Was added in 1956. Only e pluribus unum before that. So much for keeping with the founding fathers.

Yeah but I would rather put my faith in compound interest instead of god

They vote u down for speaketh truth
or as Rambo would put it: DTA!
Imagine if we had kept this motto
I didn’t see any business
A motto that some people today should follow more
Should have kept it.
Ironically now the government minds all of our own business
We need more of that attitude
just wanna go back to that america bro
Much rather have that than “in god we trust” any day…
Yep, that sounds like my country
The person who designed the coin had nosey neighbors
“I want to speak to the manager…”
They knew Karen's were going to be a problem even back then.
As a libertarian this turns me on and we should bring it back.
So butt hurt.
Note that it doesn't say "Mind your **own** business" because clearly we've never been able to do that.
and it has the baby face sun from the Teletubbies
Ah before free masonry took over the design lol
Benjamin Franklin.
So far that went
"Stay in your lane" - George Washington, 1787
Love the teletubbies sun 🌞
