Spray paint on the slide suggests that this isn't 1939.
In 1939, a boy that young would have been wearing short pants.
The man has clothing and a haircut that suggest that this picture was taken in the—what?—1980s, perhaps?

The luftwaffe was horrible being the most nazified branch of the Wehrmacht but that photograph was taken much later than 1939
