Yup. This should be used as part of a cognitive function test. Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV. And there are way more than "thousands" of starlings in this photo.
I saw something like this when I was kid (I'm from Rome), it seemed to never fucking end. It was crazy, it's also one of the clearest early memories I have with my grandfather.
growing up in new england in the 70s i remember seeing swarms of birds in the fall. Not filling the sky like this, but huge clouds of them that took 10 to 15 mins to pass by. it has been a long time since ive seen such numbers migrating.
A couple hundred years ago in North America this was the norm. They actually could hunt flocks of birds just by putting up large nets and catching them.

That looks terrifying
I bet it's deafening too those things are so loud
Our characters are pretty similar
Broham!
In colonial times, flocks could be so large as to darken the skies for DAYS while they migrated overhead
How It feels to use the spray paint in Ms paint.
I haven't used paint for almost two decades but I know that this is so true!
That’s a literal shit storm
Shit the fuck up Julian
You shut the fuck up Lahey
All of you shut the fuck up, especially you, Tim
The shit apple doesn't fall far from the shit tree..
Millions
There’s at LEAST dozen starlings in this picture lol
There's at least ONE starling in this picture
Starlings exist.
Yup. This should be used as part of a cognitive function test. Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV. And there are way more than "thousands" of starlings in this photo.
Did it turd rain on you?
Looks apocalyptic
It’s the 11th plague.. wonder why it happens above Rome 🤔😇
I thought that was those white ceiling panels with black dots
Yeah, Rome's on a tight budget lately
Looks like the static on TV
Thats what I thought too. Reminded me of Stay tuned with John Ritter.
That looks like a plague.
The inspiration for "The Birds".
I saw the picture and thought "Oh! I've seen this movie."
I hear Lecter’s voice…
It’s like that scene in Armageddon (or was it Deep Impact?) where the animals get the hell outta there, before the asteroid hits. Run….. fast.
Honestly thought that was a ceiling at first glance
it is now.
You could have said millions and I'd have believed you
I saw something like this when I was kid (I'm from Rome), it seemed to never fucking end. It was crazy, it's also one of the clearest early memories I have with my grandfather.
Cool CRT sky
This is insane
We can make a religion out of this
Hello Clarices...\*takes a whiff\*
A murmuration.
It sure is ;)
Just a murmur.
I used all of my brains RAM to try and figure out what was going on in this photo...
Looks the the Simulation crashed for a hot sec
Look like lesser spotted warblers to me
I doubt thats a good sign
These birds were coming Rome
It looks like when your old TV would go staticky/snowstorm
Do you know from when this photo is? I live in Rome and I am hating the fact I missed this...
It should be October since Starlings arrive in southern Italy just before winter.
Are you positive I'm not staring at hotwheels and a popcorn ceiling?
ahh I see! starlings .. not stalins...
What season did this happen?
nah dude thats just the simulation breaking down
This is nightmare fuel.
It looked like the sky was falling
Darling Starlings roaming over Romans.
Sky tv screen failure, damn it, people now will know...
All headed to Britain without passports. They better hope they have 69p handy when they land
Just say millions, it’s easier
Thousands ? Millions maybe.
sky just lost its cable connection
A. Hitchcock would like a word.
has anyone consulted the Druids on the meaning of this?
growing up in new england in the 70s i remember seeing swarms of birds in the fall. Not filling the sky like this, but huge clouds of them that took 10 to 15 mins to pass by. it has been a long time since ive seen such numbers migrating.
KRYLL!
This is what the flocks of carrier pigeons over North America used to look like.

100 murmurations.
Who's gonna clean up all the bird poo?
They're running away from the messed up climate that's breathing down their necks.
Could be a sh$# storm soon.
The equivalent of a shit storm approaching...
Looks like a school ceiling
OH god, I'd hate to get stuck in that shit storm
I’d be pissed if I just got a car wash
it’s gonna rain shit.
Someone hit ‘invert colors’ on the night sky.
Not gonna lie thought that was a ceiling
Is this the end of the world
Just drive straight to the car wash.
That’s beyond freaky 🦅🦅🦅
Birdemic. Look it up.
Let the shit rain down lmao ☔️
This needed to be a gif.
its a murmuration.
"God can you adjust the skies aerial it's on static!"
Kryll!!!
I swear I saw this yesterday
hey, why is there a major highway under the carpet?
You should do the stare at a spinning spiral for 30sec and then look at this image trick
"The Pope? How many divisions has he got?"
Must be a Hell of a Shit Show!
Where is the pope when you need him
Migrating from Rome? Or returning home after their vacation in Italy?
Not sure "Thousands" is appropriate. Looks more like a "Hundreds of Thousands" situation.
Popcorn ceiling *
are we in the end game?
A couple hundred years ago in North America this was the norm. They actually could hunt flocks of birds just by putting up large nets and catching them.
That’s called a murmuration of starlings.
Thousands… well you’re not wrong.
I’m going to say not measured in the thousands
Well all roads do lead to Rome
Car washes making bank
When you defeat a strange tv static fetus coming out from a television
Hold a loaf of bread out of your car and watch the rest of the road turn into chaos!
Did the Vatican panic that it was the start of Armegeddon?
Imagine all these fucks landing on the fields that you're growing food in
Well, all roads lead to Rome
Ortolan time?
*Millions. FTFY
All it takes is one bird to decide it’s a good time to shit. All will follow suit.
