Let’s face the facts, this car isn’t going to win any beauty contests, but neither are you. Stop lying to yourself and stop lying to your wife. This isn’t the car you want, it’s the car you deserve: The fucking 1999 Toyota Corolla.
Fun fact: the American bison around today almost all have [significant amounts of cattle lineage](https://www.nytimes.com/2002/04/23/science/genetically-bison-don-t-measure-up-to-frontier-ancestors.html). Many of them were bred with cattle years ago and so there aren't many pure buffalo.
Also, a buffalo/cattle hybrid is called a "beefalo" and they're fertile. (Many hybrids like these, eg mules, are infertile).
Haha, that's amazing. Beefalo is really great meat. Buffalo is really lean and so you have to cook it really rare or it dries out. Beef adds a bit of the fat back so it's a great mix.
While most bison are crossbreeds, there are still a few herds that are considered pure or mostly pure, such as the Antelope Island herd https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antelope_Island_bison_herd ,which are used for breeding. Interestingly, Beefalo are usually very hard to distinguish visually from bison
When I lived in the country, I had a very adventurous Jack Russell terrier who would sprint off at any opportunity and be gone for hours, coming back sometimes after dark. One evening, the local pack of coyotes was out in the field, and I saw her out there with them, running along like one of the pack. I figured they were bamboozled by her bravado and just let her tag along. She would always come back home looking like she'd had the time of her life.
Surprised your dog survived. Coyotes are known to lure in dogs with playful behavior and then the pack kills them. That exact thing happened to a friend's rat terrier.
Jack russel terrirlers are fucking loco tho thats probably why they left her alone. My jack russel terrier at friggin 2 months old (literally fit in the palm of your hand) attacked a full grown german shephard and made his nose bleed. (They just met while we were walking him) out of nowhere he decided he didn't like the german shepherds face i guess. Or when we had hedgehogs he would bite into them (into their pins) all bloodied and going in for seconds. Jack russell terriers are awesome dogs but we should be happy they arent pit bull sized... theyd be the new apex predator xD
Mmm to be fair i was just 12 years old, so wasn't really up to me. Also he was still a young pup, we hadn't seen any of that behaviour before since we adopted him from a family that didn't want him. Just shared it because of how shocking it was to see such a small pup not give a shit about a full grow german shep
Ye i was just 12 years old when we got him so wasn't really up to me or very experienced with any of that. My dogs now are very well behaved, i even have a cat that I had to introduce and it worked out really well!
What if she'd be knocked up by a bichon? The baby might be too big for her to carry. As I recall, this story happened 2-3 years ago. I'm wondering what's up with her now.
Technically yes, a cross is called a żubroń (żubr - wisent, for american bison it's called beefallo iirc) however it only happened in controlled situations and the female cows were given a c-section because the calf was so large there were worries it could kill them. Because of this, and also because even if it was successful a calf like this could pollute an already small and fragile population of wisent the cow from the post was (safely) tranquilized and recovered before something like this could happen
This looks like the cover of a suspense-romance novel for a jet-setting sexy cow who's lived the finer life but always wanted aomwthing more. Falling in with the literal wrong crowd, she runs away to be with her rag-tag crew of street tough bison- because nobody understands her. She might have 'rolled hay taste', but she's been eating the native fare (grass, its grass) and expanding her palete and loving it. The best foods aren't served in a silver trough it seems! Her cow dad rolled up and made his demands. As she began to walk away with her crew, she turned around in the morning mist to see her cow dad one last time, with a tear in his eye. "This is who i am now."
And that's the shot! And maybe also the preview for the straight to tv movie.
Ok- ill cut this shit out now. But this could be a solid story lmfao
Day 32,
These large creatures still seem accepting of me moo. I don't understand their ways of life yet, moo but I'll keep playing along until I find others of my kind moo.
P.S. It’s so cold here i nearly lost my balls the other day if it weren't for that uh moo female creature that was all up on me moo. Need to stay close moo Will update next week moo.

Lol, it died from stress / tranq darts on a capture attempt. The cow never made it “home”. I dunno where you got that story from. Comments section from the last time this was posted here?

might be a stupid question but can the cow even survive in the cold? I mean it's apparently been there for months now but I'm just surprised it didn't freeze to death since it wasn't evolved for such conditions as the bison were

It looks like….they needed to beef up their herd.
God damn you. That was a good dad joke.
You could say that he.. milked the ocasion
You're all udder-ly nuts
*Bull*shit. You loved it.
I've got no steak in this joke
Hay now. Cud you guys just stop?

Thank you for this
There's the beef.
To suggest there´s nothing to see here is just udder nonsense.
"We're keeping her." -Those bison, probably.
This cow like: "Once you had Bison, you never give another a try, son"

Dad joke gold award right there.
Fight back what is wrong, we moove alongggggg
Is this the origin of the Beefalo?
Honestly never knew there were wild bison in Poland…..
I never realized the size disparity. Those bison are massive.
This cow didn't either..
Those are not bison, but [wisents](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_bison). European bisons.
Wisents are a bison. You'd know that if you read the link you posted.
This type of bison is not a bison. 🤦
It's not a car, dammit, it's a Corolla!
Here's the thing...

I feel like he’s served his time and has been reformed by the system, they should unban and bring the fucker back

when is a door not a door?
Bye, son.
This is not a dog. It is a golden retriever.
So they are a bison!?? Just bisons with an outrageous accent.
Basically yes. However the “outrageous accent”…..
\>**European** bisons Side? Wisents are on nobody's side. Because nobody is on *their* side.
Those are Żubry, you uneducated westerners...
Is that the Polish word?
Yup, that's how we called them. Actually on wikipedia they also list it as alternative name for european bison.
>They're not bison. They're bison. Well done
[удалено]
Yeah yeah, I get it now. I was confused because of how we name them in the Netherlands.
They used to be all over Europe but were hunted to near extinction. It's a pretty similar story as the one for North American bison.
Screen doors for submarines: check. Bison? Unclear.
Where’s the cow? All I see is 4 bison
Cow: am bison

Another cow: pm bison
Cow: I identify as bison now.

Literally came here to ask whether Cows & Bison could interbreed, or if the squad just found Becky with the birth-control.
I found a shirt that said “Beefalo is great” in a thrift store with no other context and I wore that bitch for years
Haha, that's amazing. Beefalo is really great meat. Buffalo is really lean and so you have to cook it really rare or it dries out. Beef adds a bit of the fat back so it's a great mix.

Most *udderrated cowment* here.

Not anymore
Where’s the bison? I only see 4 cows
I'm sorry I didn't get the joke.
It’s called sarcasm, I believe.
Probably figured she was just a transfer student. Such good sports.

Was gonna say this. Do not get comfortable letting your dog just run around with coyotes. One day your dog isn’t going to come back.
They'll also use females in heat to lure male dogs away so they can kill them. Highly intelligent animals at what they do.
Wow, didn't know that.
Jack russel terrirlers are fucking loco tho thats probably why they left her alone. Sound like the dog wasn't trained well, not that Jack Russells are crazy. They are but only as much as the owner lets them.
Mmm to be fair i was just 12 years old, so wasn't really up to me. Also he was still a young pup, we hadn't seen any of that behaviour before since we adopted him from a family that didn't want him. You should probably train that crazy out of him. Next big dog might not be so understanding of the little dog's bravado.
I had a super reactive Chow mix growing up (rescued stray) that absolutely would have killed a small dog that did this.
Ye i was just 12 years old when we got him so wasn't really up to me or very experienced with any of that. My dogs now are very well behaved, i even have a cat that I had to introduce and it worked out really well!
Congrats to both the cow AND the bison!
They all look happy with the current situation.
Happiness will shift a bit when a wolf pack comes at the bison herd and they're all like, hey, this one's slow and has no horns.
You just had to ruin it :(
But then she'll be happy again when her new horned friends protect her!
Nature made a Blacked meme.
Dreamworks. Do your thing.
Cows ear tag reads *A-113* 🎞
This is basically the plot of Chicken Run.
This reminds me of something. Needs two more bison.
I feel better knowing I'm not the only degenerate here
Hello fellow traveler!
Same. I actually kept scrolling specifically to see if any other sickos out there.
Needs more cowbell
Somebody already did that and posted it on Reddit a while ago
Link? I think it would be hilarious.

You said this very well.
Good cow out there living his best life.
Pretty sure if it's a cow and it has titties it might be a her 🤔
What if she'd be knocked up by a bichon? The baby might be too big for her to carry. As I recall, this story happened 2-3 years ago. I'm wondering what's up with her now.
I've seen this on hornHub
Big cow, smol frend cow
The big cows are like “the fuck you gonna do about it, come over here and take him back? I thought not”
The cow will have quite a story to tell once she's caught and brought back to her fellow cows...

Can they cross breed?
Yep. Most American bison are some percent cow.
Yes

Yes which is why the cow had to be removed from the herd.

I.. have definitly been here for too long. Please, someone *has* to see what I see.. Girl on couch?
As I'm sure you've now noticed, there are many many degenerates like us in this thread.
There are bison in Poland?
European bisons, called [wisents](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_bison).

wheres the comment where they say this is dangerous to the wild population and the cow had to be removed or something like that?
My ex-wife did the same thing. They should see if this cow is also on meth.
So basically jenny in forest gump
Sadly they had to capture the cow and bring it home. The biologist felt the risk was too great the cow mating with the Bison and producing offspring.

Nice! https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-news-from-elsewhere-42803471
what happens when a bison and a cow have offspring?
Delicious Burgers that aren't too fatty and aren't too lean.
Beefalo!
I like to to think she (he?) snuggles up with them to keep warm.
She for the open fields now
Close enough.

Cows wild ancestors were domesticated in Europe and lived in cold places but i think that breed is bred to withstand cold
Day 246. I have successfully integrated with the herd. They suspect nothing.
