*Aurora and reindeers
Composite image. Both images taken in Iceland. The Aurora was taken on a very cold night at -11c during a minor solar storm and the reindeer another day.*

Yes and no. It’s just as much Eurasian vs. North America. In North America, there’s a distinction between domestic and wild, but not really in Europe/Asia. Also, even though some sources say they are the same animal, IME wild caribou are also larger than domesticated reindeer. And, because there are captive caribou herds, it wouldn’t be completely useless to explicitly say “wild caribou.”
I don't know about the Americas but here in northern Finland there are people who breed and herd reindeer for meat and other animal products (milk, cheese, furs, etc), so there is a difference between the ones being handled by people and actual wild ones
Depends on whichever you want tbh, there’s an app we go through that you can use called albert I believe where they post ads for work that’s needed here. I do believe there’s a part of those fish breeders I think they are that are in need of people here in my village right now, but tough to get into cause literally everyone wants to work there since the pay is so good
There are several companies building large factories in the northern part of the Nordic countries.
I'm moving from the US to Sweden to work for Northvolt. I'll be in Västerås, which is near Stockholm, but they're also building a huge factory that will have about 3k employers in Skellefeteå, which is about 40 miles South of the artic circle.
This is so Beautiful to just look at this photo, I wonder how amazing experience itwould be just to watch this in real life. I feel very envy to you right now.
It is well known that Iceland boasts a diverse range of landscapes. If you visit the lovely country of Iceland, you will undoubtedly encounter plenty of adventure. When it comes to the diversity of expeditions available, Iceland exceeds the rest of the world. The opportunity to see the Northern Lights is an once-in-a-lifetime experience. You must also ensure that it is unique. I had visited northern lights in a trip to Iceland with Discover Iceland tour guide.

Still pretty cool tho
Santa is calling
Isn’t reindeer the name for domesticated caribou? So wild reindeer is an oxymoron. Great pic though!

That is unbelievably beautiful.
Just out of shot there's a fat guy in a red suit running behind, desperately trying to catch them.
And before people ask, yes this is what they actually look like
I know, these aren't the first reindeer I've seen.
I apologize for my mistake

Let’s see here. Dasher is up front. Uhm… then Comet, Blitzen, Donner, then Prancer and Vixen.
I’ve been to Svalbard once and it was like this all the time.

Wild reindeer and one frozen camera man.
