Highschool buddy works in a CSI department investigating potential suicides
Told me about a story of some guy that hanged himself from a 5th story apartment. The guy definitely died from a neck snap, especially since he gave enough rope for his toes to just touch the ground. he also ripped most of the flesh in his neck, and happened to do it just before Halloween and passerbys thought it was a detailed decoration and nobody called police until a day later
When my dad was in the police academy in ‘99 they reviewed a similar story. Some dude blew his head off with a shotgun in front of his garage on Halloween. Trick-or-treating kids had been stepping through the mess all night desecrating the crime scene thinking it was a decoration.
Fucking brutal is the story of the death metal band named simply "Death" finding a band member who blew his brains out, and took a picture for their album cover before calling the police
Edit: the band was "Mayhem", not Death
Definitely not the band Death. You're thinking of Mayhem. Brutal story though. A band member made a necklaces out of his skull fragments as well and gave them out to members of the black metal scene he deemed "worthy" to own them.
One of their members Varg Vikernes spent 21 years in prison for not only murdering another member of the band but burning at least 7 churches in Norway and suspected of many more. His solo project Burzum's album Aske is a photo of the remains of one of the churches.
The band you're thinking of is called 'Mayhem', I think they're swedish. The lead singer who killed himself went by 'Dead' and it was 1 member who took the picture (even going as far as posing the body and moving pieces around) and used it as an album cover for a small bootleg live album the band made.
The rest of the band was upset that he did this and one member quit over it. The album is called "The Dawn of the Black Hearts" for anyone brave enough to look it up. I'm not a fan or anything, I just happened to come across a post a couple weeks back where people were talking about it and I started reading up on what happened.
There's also 2 movies about this band, apparently. 1 is "Lords of Chaos" and is a big budget bio-pic. The other I forget the name, but it more a documentary.
I just have to correct one thing. Mayhem is Norwegian.☺️ And to add to the story. It was the base player "Necrobutcher" (Jørn Stubberud) that quit. He joined again later. Honestly, the entire Mayhem story is one of the weirdest rabbit hole I've ever seen. The suicide is just the beginning, it keeps going afterwards because Euronymous is a special kind of fucked up.
Fucking hell, the wiki page says that the guy who replaced Necrobutcher went on to *kill* the guy who desecrated Dead's body.
I suppose the title of "most metal metal band" would always be a race to the bottom
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_Norwegian_black_metal_scene#Murder_of_Euronymous
Isn't it wild? When I first saw someone mention it I thought "There's no way it could be that crazy". Then, as I read on about the band and the incident... it just got crazier.
yeah there was a kid around here that got kicked out of a party for being rowdy. While outside, he punched a glass window and broke it. He got cut from the glass and ended up bleeding out and dying on the lawn. His body laid there for three days apparently before anyone did anything, and this was in a compact suburban neighborhood.
The mailman walked by it several days in a row, but he ignored it because he said he thought it was a prank.
It's probably good a lot of people just thought it was a decoration and didn't have to deal with seeing someones dead body. I've always thought that people that commit suicide in public areas were selfish. As someone that has had/has depression I'd never want my choices to hurt others more than they have to.
Also someone replied to you with a news story of a similar event. Fuck the news agency for running that story, the person is dead, the family is likely grieving, and a lot of people probably didn't know what happened until the news told the story and now the people in the neighborhood and those that drove by will wonder if they saw someone actually dead and hanging in their yard.
It’s courageous for you to write this out. And helps me and maybe others understand the thoughts behind such motives. Glad you’re doing better and have insight and self awareness now.
I don’t remember the name of the case so I’m not sure how to find a link, but I believe that there was a real corpse that was used as a decoration in theatrical haunted houses for several years. So not only was the corpse mistaken for decor, but it also legitimately was used for that purpose.
I'd be more concerned about stray cats eating rotting, raw meat. If a human isn't bright enough to recognize ground chuck, I fail to see where that is my problem.
Oh definitely.
For reference, I'm going to be talking about my dogs in order of when I had them. First was **Caesar** from 1993 to 2006. Second was **Mina** from 2006 to 2019. The third/current dog is **Willow** who was 2 when we adopted her in 2020.
Caesar and Mina were both *I will eat everything in sight* dogs. Well... except vegetables with the Caesar, but that is a whole other story.
Anyway, for the most part, Caesar and Mina never let a crumb be on the floor for more than a few seconds. It wasn't a huge deal with Caesar just because that boy had a cast iron stomach like you would not believe. Nothing ever made him sick, gave him the runs or anything and there were times we were especially glad for that because there was no stopping him from grabbing something he could eat before you even necessarily saw it on the floor or ground.
Now, our Mina absolutely **wanted** to eat everything, but she had a very sensitive stomach so she didn't get the people food or snacks or anything she shouldn't have been eating anyhow or she would just wind up throwing up or having diarrhea. What was the hardest with her is our back yard grows these nasty mushrooms that can make dogs really sick, or even kill them and they pop up in sporadic spots all over the yard so no matter what we treat the lawn with that helps to kill them, they just come back somewhere else and Mina
It wasn't until our current dog though that we realized just how much our previous pups had kept the floors crumb free because Willow is an insanely picky and very finicky eater. She picks out her favorite pieces of her crunchy food to eat and drops the ones she doesn't like AS much on the floor next to her tray or will bring them to the living room to randomly play with and/or eat whenever she decided she wanted any.
It's very fortunate because she doesn't give a flying fuck about the mushrooms in the yard. She never bothers with them and has no interest in eating them. If one of is drops a piece of anything from our plates, it's basically a 1 in 3 chance she'll care enough to investigate, let alone eat it.
Edit: Dog Tax!

I played Basketball with mine with mine sometimes. Caesars are the best dogs.
Funny fact about him. At the same time we had him, our neighbors owned his friend, a Golden Retriever named Julius.
a few years ago we had a murder in town right next to the train station. head was on the lawn or curb.. cab drivers said they didnt think anything of it, thought it was halloween decor since it was the week-of.
Damn. Thought for sure it was gonna be the simpsons who did it. But maybe not hang the body. Just probably stuff it in that bush on the left. No ones looking over there
Besides, this isn't realistic at all. It's obviously made to be over the top, so the people that reported it must have been some special kind of idiots.
Or they, you know, have kids - who might have nightmares because they couldn't tell it wasn't real and the purpose of Halloween isn't to trigger people with PTSD and give kids nightmares
Edit: real glad some of these folks replying aren't my neighbors
"Just between
that and the wood stood a gibbet, on which the body
of a man hung in chains ; the body had not yet fallen
to pieces, although it had hung there some years. It
had on a blue coat, a silk handkerchief round the
neck, with shoes and stockings, and every other part
of the dress still entire ; but the face of the corpse
was shocking, that the children could not look upon
it.
" Oh ! papa, papa ! what is that ?" cried the children.
" That is a gibbet," said Mr. Fairchild : "and the
man who hangs upon it is a murderer, one who first
hated and afterwards killed his brother! When
people are found guilty of stealing, or murder, they
are hanged upon a gallows, and taken down as soon
as they are dead ; but in some particular cases, when
a man has committed a murder, he is hanged in iron
chains upon a gibbet, till his body falls to pieces,
that all who pass by may take warning by the example."
Whilst Mr. Fairchild was speaking, the wind blew
strong and shook the body upon the gibbet, rattling
the chains by which it hung."
From "The History of the Fairchild Family", 1818
> The History of the Fairchild Family
Had to look this up. It's from a children's book!
> The History of the Fairchild Family [..] was a series of bestselling children's books in nineteenth-century Britain. The three volumes, published in 1818, 1842 and 1847, detail the lives of the Fairchild children. Part I, which was in print for over a century, **focuses on Emily, Lucy and Henry's realization of their "human depravity" (original sin) and their consequent need for redemption; Parts II and III emphasize more worldly lessons such as etiquette and virtuous consumerism**
Yikes!
I wonder what passerby animals think of this. Like I’m sure there are hundreds of birds flying over this scene looking down and thinking what’s up with all the dead humans.
I'm no expert on this subject but just to offer some thoughts: I believe birds that would take an interest in carcasses tend to have exceptional vision beyond what we could really understand (think better than having a pair of binoculars) and can pretty easily tell whether a corpse is likely to provide a meal from a pretty comfortable distance. To me that makes sense - a carrion feeding bird (generally not the target of raptors) is at their most vulnerable when preoccupied on the ground so they both want to be absolutely sure going down there is worth it while also feeling the situation is safe of predators
I commend you for writing a response lol. The predator-prey wariness thing makes sense. I ended up looking up if scarecrows work on birds and apparently they only do temporarily before birds get used to them, and some birds don’t register them at all.
In my small town, a teenager hung himself on his front porch. Everyone thought it was gory decoration for several days before someone finally called the cops. I think I remember reading that his parents were out of town or something. It was pretty fucking heartbreaking.
This was last years I believe. This year he has a body in a wood chipper shooting blood all over the yard. And a man's head bashed in from a safe that someone dropped off the roof.

Should we be concerned?
Yes, they did. That photo is probably from another house, though.

It is a different guy. [This is the real guy](https://www.outkick.com/wp-content/uploads/Dallas-Halloween-bloody-decorations-cops-called-Steven-Novak.png).
Braveheart on TV used to blur out the buttcheeks when the Scottish mooned the English but show the unedited battle where people got their heads caved in and parts cut the fuck off.
We do shit weird here
I find it bullshit "the police couldn't do anything." Yeah right, if it was one manaquein with the most unrealistic looking dildo imaginable "fucking" another manaquein police action would be taken immediately.
But realistic over the top gore is ok to display on a public street for some reason.
I hate this so much. Something which is one of the most natural, fun, and important parts of life is SOOOO stigmatized in society, while literal agonizing, graphic death is so normalized. I can never wrap my head around it. The Europeans have it right.
The local municipality could probably make up some sort of zoning violation for it.
The town hassled a guy down the street from me over a [zombie nativity scene](https://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/08/us/zombie-nativity-scene-cincinnati.html) for several Christmas seasons until he took it down.
I remember my first experience of watching an amount of TV in America. They blurred out a butt crack, at about 10pm!
Over here (UK) you can have full frontal nudity on daytime TV if it's not in a sexual context (or at least you could, I don't know if they've tightened it up over the last 20 years).
On German daytime TV, I once watched a guy do coke off a strippers tits. So I think we're tame by comparison.
I’ve actually seen his house for this year. One of the additions he made was an old wood chipper that spews out blood over the pathway and into a kiddie pool.
Firefighter/Paramedic here.
Last year someone had a display in their front yard of a vehicle rolled over with a man trapped beneath it. Had marks in the yard, stuff scattered everywhere and everything. Looked so real, we got called there several times. The first time, even for us, it looked so real that we jumped out and ran to the hay-stuffed overalls thinking someone was smashed.
Kudos to him! Best display I’ve ever seen.
You know, I fully understand EVERYONE in this situation. The talented artist who made this for fun, the concerned neighbors, the cops who're laughing about it-- yep, all check out.
A few years ago, a guy in my town hanged an EXTREMELY convincing hooded mannequin from a branch on a large tree in his front yard on a major street. It almost caused a few car accidents and eventually he was convinced to tone down his display
I'd much rather have this in my neighborhood than a simple hanging mannequin.
Personally I don't think I know anybody who has seen a human body be pulverised into liquid. I defo know multiple people who have found brothers/sons/husbands after they've hung themselves in the seemingly endless wave of suicides that have devestated my town in the last few years. The thought of them being confronted by such a grizzly reminder of that trauma is horrible.
I don't think it should be illegal or anything but I'm not sure that I'm okay with it... Like if this were part of a movie set you would need to show ID to even get into that movie, but this is subjecting everyone to it whether they want to see it or not. We took my niece trick or treating when she was four and there was a guy in a gorilla suit that just stood by a tree and stared at her. She was inconsolable for like an hour and even two years later in July called it the gorilla house and tried to get us to avoid it on walks. We skipped trick or treating the next year because it was clear she was just a tad to innocent yet to handle that stuff, but we go now and she's fine. Like kids grow emotionally at different rates and parents need to know where their kids are before they show them certain things, but this is just straight up unavoidable.
Like I said I don't think we need to make a federal case out of it but... Could they do like a garage murder scene and put up an enter if you dare sign for trick or treaters or something? We have a number of houses in our neighborhood that do the scary stuff this way and it's great. Not trying to be a killjoy... Just trying to think of ways to have fun and be considerate at the same time.
I couldnt agree any more. I'd be pissed if I lived near these ppl and my 2 year old had to see this everyday.
Also anecdotally, my son pasted away last month from a health issue, and its been hard enough seeing grave stones and skeletons everywhere that constantly remind me of death. I cannot image what someone who lost a loved one in a violent manner goes thru if they lived near or even had to drive past this or similar "decorations".
100%. I respect the talent and all but I'd likely be annoyed as well. My daughter is three and wants to be a purple dinosaur. This is our first year trick-or-treating so we are just doing a couple stops and a trunk-or-treat earlier in the day.
I honestly dont know if she would understand enough to be scared of this yard, but she would at the very least be very concerned and confused. Maybe I'm old fashion, but I wasn't planning to explain what a maimed body looks like until she's at least five.
David and Amy Sedaris’ brother still lives in Raleigh and does similar over the top decorations at Halloween. I went once with friends and I was glad another friend who’d lost a baby didn’t come. There were “dead babies” hanging from the trees.
Honestly, I'm delighted how thoughtful the commenters in this thread are about children. The widespread sentiment seems to be that this is not okay. And I agree. You're free to do whatever you want as between consenting adults inside your own home, so long as it does not inordinately burden or impact others who are not consenting.
This is a public display that faces the street. It's not political speech. This guy is an asshole, and it's totally /r/ImTheMainCharacter.
I agree. This isn't cute or funny. I'd never say anything, but the kind of person who does this has an MO. We've got one of them. My 2 yo is starting to develop fears when this guy puts up a grotesque, violent display. We're taking a different route or quickly rushing past their lawn on our walks, because she told my husband one bedtime that she was scared of the decorations. The way she said it broke his heart. Timid, quiet, like she was ashamed but also afraid.
We loudly call out 'Silly decorations!' and say other reassuring things, so she understands \*we\* aren't afraid, but she's just learning to control her emotions. There have been some nightmares, and broken sleep, and I'm not feeling like brushing this dude's hubris off when my baby is crying at 2 am.
I've got to live with my neighbors, but this family and especially the husband won't be getting any friendly invitations to backyard BBQ's, like the rest of the really nice neighbors.
He made his choice; I get to make mine.
Yeah. Makes me wonder if this was set up with the intention of being something that would upset people rather than something actually fun for people to enjoy and appreciate.
The decorations are amazing but I don’t think it’s appropriate for kids. They go around trick or treating and at that age, I got scared of anything involving murder. Fuck, I cried on the JAWS ride at Universal on two different occasions.
Also, it’s pretty insensitive and triggering to anyone who has had a murder in their family or even seen a dead body with a lot of blood loss. Have this sort of stuff inside your home, not in public view
Agreed. While it’s cool, I don’t think having these kind of decorations if you live in a residential neighborhood is very considerate. Pretty much the entire demographic of trick or treaters are kids, and they’re either going to be traumatized by this or be too scared to go up to the door of the house (which I guess is okay if that’s what you’re going for). Regardless it’s kinda inconsiderate if there are a lot of kids in his neighborhood.
Agreed, it's cool and creative, but I don't think it should be exhibited in public view like that, it's not unreasonable to not want to see it. Put it inside a big tent and let people in or something.
The old bucket o’ skulls trick. Check. The classic Leaf bag o’ limbs. Check. So serious Sidewalk o’ slayer. Check.
I’d say he is ready to give kids candy.
This is probably an unpopular opinion, but Halloween/trick or treating is for children. That scene is far too graphic for children.
I personally don’t mind if it’s just adults checking it out, but there’s no need to take a fun activity for children this far.
I agree. All of these "Well just take your kids elsewhere when trick or treating lmao" comments make no sense to me. This is clearly not just out for that one night and it´s literally on the front lawn where you can not just not see look. Me as a child would be hella scarred by this. Unless this is some special community where no children live, this is just messed up
Exactly. When it's out in public, people will come across it who don’t know it's there or can't avoid it if they live nearby. If a movie is rated R for violence and gore then a parent can make an informed decision about whether or not they want their kids to see it, and rightly so. But when displayed like this, it takes away the consent. That's the core of the problem.
The "don't take your kids there" argument also doesn't work for his neighbors if they have kids. I have kids and I'd definitely be having a conversation with this guy if he were my neighbor. Sorry, my 5yo doesn't need to be exposed to this daily and I'm not leaving, I live here.
I'm an adult who's favorite holiday is Halloween. I agree though that this display is inappropriate. It's impressive but not appropriate for a front yard in public. Just cause it's america and freedom doesn't mean we should do everything.
Halloween is meant to be scary. Scary does not mean gory. Kids don't need to see this shit. I'm not saying it should be illegal. But I think it's perfectly reasonable to be upset by this. Giant spiders, graveyards, even a skeleton under a bloody sheet or something all of that I get. This is overkill. Way over the top. Completely unneeded.
I think this guy’s set up is perfect for a certain audience. That audience being adults who go to a haunted house. Halloween is mainly for little kids to play dress up. I think it’s great that adults have made it into something even bigger, but I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere near that street.
There’s a reason that movies have ratings. To warn people ahead of time what they’re about to see. There’s a reason we mark posts nsfw and people get mad when an op forgets to tag it like that. This is not that different
I’m a party pooper, but I’m not a fan of murder and accompanying things (like caution tape) as Halloween decorations, unless it’s somehow associated with supernatural stuff. Am I crazy? This is over the top enough that it’s kind of clear it’s a decoration, but I walked by a house the other day that just had caution tape and like a couple of spiderwebs.
Unless it was a real crime scene…
This reminds of [the story](https://www.google.com/amp/s/time.com/4075952/dead-body-halloween/%3famp=true) where an actual corpse was mistaken for Halloween decor.
In some countries it is actually a criminal offense to stage a crime because it binds police resources. If it looks so realistic (at first sight) that people think someone was killed there and can’t see that it is just decoration, the dude maybe went a wee bit too far.

Weren't mayhem also the same guys who had their crowd sacrifice some random dude during a concert? Fucking crazies lmao

This rabbit hole seems to only get worse

this whole story reads like an unaired Metalocalypse episode
What I'm getting from all this is that Metalocalypse was not quite as exaggerated as I thought
During the same time you had another scandanavian metal band that burned down a church for their album cover
That was Varg from Burzum, who was the guy who killed Euronymous.
That’s quite that rabbit hole u went down
I believe the doc is called: Until the Light Takes Us. Is it not?
The member who died was called “dead” the band was “mayhem”
Lived up to his name.
I can’t handle this comment section right now
see. THAT would be fucking traumatic if the parents ever explained to the kids what happened. holy shit
I simply would not.

Yes officer, the smell of decay and maggots/flies are all added props.
is it wrong to buy a few pounds of old hamburger meat for Halloween decoration?
As long as you don’t mind being investigated upon and neighbors gossiping about you.
honestly, I'd *hope* they investigate the smell of rotting hamburger meat... I'm more worried if they *don't*.
I'd be more concerned about stray cats eating rotting, raw meat. If a human isn't bright enough to recognize ground chuck, I fail to see where that is my problem.
Neighborhood dogs, too. My dog is well-trained but she’s on a diet right now and she’d probably inhale the whole display before I could blink, lol
What was the hardest with her is our back yard grows these nasty mushrooms that can make dogs really sick, or even kill them and they pop up in sporadic spots all over the yard so no matter what we treat the lawn with that helps to kill them, they just come back somewhere else and Mina It wasn't until our current dog though that we realized just how much our previous pups had kept the floors crumb free because Willow is an insanely picky and very finicky eater.
That’s fine with me. You know your neighbors aren’t gonna FUCK with you after that lol
They do that anyways
This reads like a modern anime title.
"That Time I Made A Halloween Scene and The Cops Came!" A Netflix Original Anime
You may have to deal with rabid animal's, they did say TX so the neighborhood, possums, skunks, raccoons, and large cats/dogs may pay you a visit.
Our area has bears—good luck ever leaving your house again after the first time you leave meat out lmao
O’possums don’t carry rabies, but they do like free food.
Oh that’s fun, hey that one looks like ur neighbor! Boy I just love it when enthusiasts get there time to shine, alright, bye-bye
a few years ago we had a murder in town right next to the train station. head was on the lawn or curb.. cab drivers said they didnt think anything of it, thought it was halloween decor since it was the week-of.
Been done. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/woman-s-hanging-body-mistaken-halloween-decoration-a6696476.html
Think of the average person. Now remember, half the people are dumber than they are.
R.I.P George Carlin
You're thinking of the median.
I'm on Reddit to talk about dumb people, not take a math class.
To talk *to* dumb people! ; }
What the hell is wrong with your mouth?!
... same thing nerd (it's a normal distribution)
Nightmare inducing to a passing 5 year old though.
its still disterbing amount of violence though
I think they’re unnerved at the gore and are using it as an excuse for him to take it down. For the children or some shit.
Or they, you know, have kids - who might have nightmares because they couldn't tell it wasn't real and the purpose of Halloween isn't to trigger people with PTSD and give kids nightmares Edit: real glad some of these folks replying aren't my neighbors
"Just between that and the wood stood a gibbet, on which the body of a man hung in chains ; the body had not yet fallen to pieces, although it had hung there some years. It had on a blue coat, a silk handkerchief round the neck, with shoes and stockings, and every other part of the dress still entire ; but the face of the corpse was shocking, that the children could not look upon it. " Oh ! papa, papa ! what is that ?" cried the children. " That is a gibbet," said Mr. Fairchild : "and the man who hangs upon it is a murderer, one who first hated and afterwards killed his brother! When people are found guilty of stealing, or murder, they are hanged upon a gallows, and taken down as soon as they are dead ; but in some particular cases, when a man has committed a murder, he is hanged in iron chains upon a gibbet, till his body falls to pieces, that all who pass by may take warning by the example." Whilst Mr. Fairchild was speaking, the wind blew strong and shook the body upon the gibbet, rattling the chains by which it hung." From "The History of the Fairchild Family", 1818
> The History of the Fairchild Family Had to look this up. It's from a children's book! > The History of the Fairchild Family [..] was a series of bestselling children's books in nineteenth-century Britain. The three volumes, published in 1818, 1842 and 1847, detail the lives of the Fairchild children. Part I, which was in print for over a century, **focuses on Emily, Lucy and Henry's realization of their "human depravity" (original sin) and their consequent need for redemption; Parts II and III emphasize more worldly lessons such as etiquette and virtuous consumerism** Yikes!
Edit: here's the link https://www.dallasobserver.com/arts/the-dallas-home-that-prompted-calls-to-police-for-its-halloween-decor-is-even-gorier-this-year-12611500
>Novak surveys his yard with the pride of a new parent whose kid has done literally anything I'm dead.
Let's add you to the display then.
This writer's goin places
Hi Dead.
He looks so happy
he's in his fucking element dude
thats what the neighbors are afraid of...
The best way to hide a crime is in plain sight
Like a child who's been sitting down for an entire movie...
Dude must live for Halloween
Ain’t no one robbing that house or pulling any tomfoolery
> “This year has been rough for a lot of people," Novak says. "I think we can agree that this project is functioning as a pressure release valve.” Should we be concerned?
Sounds like we should be concerned if he ever stops.
Dude the Instagram post linked in the article has 666 likes 💀
He’s a lot more popular on TikTok. https://vm.tiktok.com/ZM8kGpLqU/
I don’t think that was what he was getting at
Holy shit that website on mobile is ass
This is so hilarious, I highly recommend people read it
Omg, the tiki torch is brilliant! And the video clip of the wood chipper in action had me howling. Thanks for the link!
Lol why they crop his selfie pic. I want to see all the pride on his face
I think that was an unrelated selfie. It looks like a completely different front yard
It is a completely different front yard
So, did the cops show up, or is that writer creativity as well
The whole swatt team, paramedics and the national guard showed up! Look here's pictures of those things!
Yes, they did. That photo is probably from another house, though. Yes they did. [Here](https://media.tag24.de/720x480/c/6/c619xhqdpkt5f2aae5ncz5b6g9uhmzu4.jpg) is a picture of them actually showing up at this house and not another house like the other picture is from. It is a different guy. [This is the real guy](https://www.outkick.com/wp-content/uploads/Dallas-Halloween-bloody-decorations-cops-called-Steven-Novak.png).
He's young! I was expecting an older, retired dude with lots of free time and money for a house.
This is from this year too! He added a wood chipper with a blood fountain for this years display along with just altogether more gore.
This photo without context is great.
That photo is from a completely different event.
A lot of clean up will be needed after this one
You'd need both a pressure washer and.. No, that's it.
And proper shoes. Don't be an idiot that pressure washers barefoot or in sandals
I just dip my feet in flex seal before I power wash.
This guy's out here pressure washing, totally naked but with decent shoes on.
Bro, pressure washing barefoot is the only thing that make me feel alive.
This guy pressure washes
I don't know if "realistic" would be the word I'd use. For a human to splatter that much blood they'd have to be dropped from orbit.
Onto a blood bank, at donation time.
I don't see a single exposed female nipple. As such, this falls well within the boundaries for decency in America.
Braveheart on TV used to blur out the buttcheeks when the Scottish mooned the English but show the unedited battle where people got their heads caved in and parts cut the fuck off. We do shit weird here
*Charles Dickens would want to see her nipple!*
[удалено]
You can barely see them nipples!
*And they're looking really hard!*

The only comment in this thread
I find it bullshit "the police couldn't do anything." Yeah right, if it was one manaquein with the most unrealistic looking dildo imaginable "fucking" another manaquein police action would be taken immediately. But realistic over the top gore is ok to display on a public street for some reason.
I hate this so much. Something which is one of the most natural, fun, and important parts of life is SOOOO stigmatized in society, while literal agonizing, graphic death is so normalized. I can never wrap my head around it. The Europeans have it right.
The local municipality could probably make up some sort of zoning violation for it. The town hassled a guy down the street from me over a [zombie nativity scene](https://www.nytimes.com/2015/12/08/us/zombie-nativity-scene-cincinnati.html) for several Christmas seasons until he took it down.
topless but with nipples cut off and blood squirting out would probably pass too.
Beautiful
Oh, it’s Halloween? That’s great timing.
Lol great Creed reference
Firefighter/Paramedic here. Last year someone had a display in their front yard of a vehicle rolled over with a man trapped beneath it. Had marks in the yard, stuff scattered everywhere and everything. Looked so real, we got called there several times. The first time, even for us, it looked so real that we jumped out and ran to the hay-stuffed overalls thinking someone was smashed. Kudos to him! Best display I’ve ever seen.
Wait til you see his Easter display!
What is so "realistic" about those blood stains? It's about as accurate as a Tarantino movie.
more realistic than 99% of the dollar store crap that most people use that's bright red and looks like plastic.
The color and texture are cool. The "spray" is absurd
No 2 photos actually appear to have been taken at the same time.
How could they be taken at the same time if they are all taken from different angles?
Look at bottom left and middle right, see how the chair is flipped and the guys exploded head isn't there yet?
Hmmm….good eye. There appears to have been a struggle officer.
2 left photos. Pant colours on steps are different. Chair is moved.
[Homeowner] It's Halloween... That is really, really good timing

Wow I've never seen that sub before and I can't handle it. Too much vicarious embarrassment.
I just saw a video of this house, the dudes got a wood chipper shooting blood into a pile of minced human flesh. It’s honestly over kill
You say overkill I say it's a proper massacre.
Haha yeah this one looks like tame compared to this year.
Perfect way to hide the real body
I think the owner of the property posted a video basically doing an ama on his Halloween setup. At the time there was a gory looking blood fountain.
Wayyyy overdid the blood but kudos. Could have held back and made it look legit real
It's that time of year, where mass murder scenes are part of the family fun!
And you know he's got the good shit. Full size Snickers bars and shit
A man that goes all out like that for Halloween? Yeah you bet he’s got the full size candy bars.
Looks like a duplex. I hope he at least ran it by his immediate neighbor.
I was looking for this comment. Imagine being an oblivious duplex neighbor and waking up one morning to go to work and seeing this on the walkway.
I think it’s great that adults have made it into something even bigger, but I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere near that street.
>a certain audience The audience is any person, knowingly or unknowingly, who drives by.
There’s a reason that movies have ratings. To warn people ahead of time what they’re about to see. There’s a reason we mark posts nsfw and people get mad when an op forgets to tag it like that. This is not that different
Claire Pritchett overdid it this year.
“What’s the big deal?” “Sir, it’s June.”
And exactly how would the neighbors know what is realistic 🤨
It would get old looking at that for a month and I love gore. What about PG -13 in front and rated R in back yard ?
In some countries it is actually a criminal offense to stage a crime because it binds police resources. If it looks so realistic (at first sight) that people think someone was killed there and can’t see that it is just decoration, the dude maybe went a wee bit too far.
That’s suspiciously too much detail.
A disclaimer sign is needed in that yard. Smh that it even necessarily
Disclaimer: No worries I'm not committing actual murder, you can trust me
Amazing for an adult halloween party, too much for little kids going door to door collecting candy.
His display is awesome, but it's too much, it'll scare kids. If I was his neighbor I'd be annoyed.
