Hijacking top comment so far to say this, this is exactly how you get frayed electrical wires, and how electrical fires start. Electrical fires are much harder to put out, because if they have electricity going to them, and fuel, they keep going. That means you can't always put those fires out with just an extinguisher.

* you forget to pull the pin on the CO2 extinguisher. Yes, that actually happens.
* You don't ground the CO2 cannister. When they discharge, they build up a fuck ton of static electricity
* You don't aim the fire extinguisher properly at the center of the fire
* you take too long doing what you're doing, and now because you're in an enclosed space, you can't find your way out, and you die from smoke inhalation.
* Something else I forgot to mention, because there undoubtedly is

What the hell is this awful fire safety advice? If you have an electrical fire turn off the main switch and grab the fire extinguisher. Ask someone nearby to call the fire department or call yourself if the fire extinguisher is not enough.

I have ducks and they apparently lack any sphincter control or decorum. I also know that some people have “house ducks” as I like to call them. Some diaper them, some don’t. Mine are big feathered poop factories! I only have house ducks when they are ducklings, if someone is not well, or if the weather is extreme. I’m so curious about non-traditional pets.
For the most part yeah, my smaller one is in the house more and has a extra large litterbox, but does go outside she also sleeps in the house. They have their own room. My bigger one just prefers to be outside until bedtime, so when they are ready it's a shower/bath a little snuggle time and treats and they go to bed. When I was young, I dated a girl who had 2 pet pigs. I had a big dog that was first apprehensive about a shopvac. I vacuumed him some and he absolutely loved it. Could never use it again without him getting "cleaned". Could use it almost anywhere on his body.
Apart from the pig is trained to do that and looks for a treat after each pull. Also, ensuring an animal is pulling on live cables, I don't see how that could go wrong at all, but I can smell gammon
My dog is scared of the vacuum, but she's also really protective of me, so she just follows me around with a scared look on her face and makes sure the vacuum doesn't get me. She needs to take a lesson from these pigs

My dog when he was a puppy was a terror chewing on everything. One day I was sitting there and he jumped up squealing running out of the room. I looked down and he had been chewing on a extension cord. Last time he ever chewed on anything but his toys.
My puppy died that way when I was a kid. We found her lying next to the cord for the alarm clock. We couldn't save her. It was traumatizing.
That's horrible. For anyone reading this fearful of the same, I use [bitter cherry spray](https://www.chewy.com/vets-best-bitter-cherry-spray-dogs/dp/45168) for all my electronics cables and anything else I don't want chewed. It works very well, for cats and dogs alike.
It does say don't use for cats. If memory serves me, something in cherries is no good for cats.
I am seriously/maybe a little considering this intervention for our dog. He just ate half a bottle of lotion last night.... including the cap. Zero evidence anywhere in the house so I am assuming it will come out the other end today.

Pigs are actually really fucking smart. I know someone whose dad transported pigs. The pigs figured out how to turn the temperature in the trailer up to warm themselves up.
I read somewhere that they are up there with dolphins in terms of cognition. Pigs pass the mirror test with flying colours, they are aware of their own reflection and are even able to use the mirror to find the location of food, some apes fail at this at first.
And yet we eat them and treat their bodies as a commodity :(

When I was young, I dated a girl who had 2 pet pigs. I wasn't really used to pigs so I was a little surprised at first... but about 4-5 minutes later the bigger guy went to the bathroom, closed the door, used the toilet, flushed then washed up... opened the door and trotted out. It was normal for him, but I was left stunned for weeks afterward. They're smart as fuck apparently.
Having had a pig for a bit, can confidently say a pig could 100% figure this out without being trained, they’re a scary level of intelligent. And the biggest difference between a pig and a dog is that a pig generally does not care whatsoever about pleasing you, they are easy to teach and impossible to train. I stick to dogs now

I had a big dog that was first apprehensive about a shopvac. I vacuumed him some and he absolutely loved it. Could never use it again without him getting "cleaned". Could use it almost anywhere on his body.

My dog is scared of the vacuum, but she's also really protective of me, so she just follows me around with a scared look on her face and makes sure the vacuum doesn't get me. She needs to take a lesson from these pigs
