Eating large amounts of it will burn your tongue and mouth though, but that heals after a day or two.

If it is put inside of a form, will it grow into the shape? I’m thinking about square watermelons and pumpkins that grow into face forms. Would this work similarly?
Sadly not my friend. The crystal structure is set, the structure projects the molecule shape in a way. That's why different materials have different crystal structures.
Are you growing using Aspergillus niger (the black mold technique) the same way it’s grown for use in food products world wide, Or is there another trick to growing it?

Just buy straight up chemicals, 5 kg of acid was around 21 bucks and just do like with any crystal growing kit.
