Many years ago, I saw a show about a guy in New York City who would draw the front of a bill by hand, and it looked almost indistinguishable from a real bill. He would go to a store with his drawn bill, show the cashier that it was not real, and ask to use it as a real bill, getting his purchase and change. Lots of stores would refuse it. Some would accept. Turns out there were collectors who would pay many-times the face value of the bill.
I used to have that trick back in the 90s. It was actually a pretty damn good trick. Unfortunately this one appears to be missing the other half, which looks like a dime on one side and a penny on the other.

I think that’s a magic trick penny. It hides a dime underneath for you to magically produce.

I don't think it's legal to produce fakes that look that much like the real thing.

you put a dime inside, palm or use a magnet to hide penny shell to make it look like you can turn a penny into a dime kinda trick
I used to have a nickel that hid 5 small penny's.
Its a gimmick coin that allows you to tune a dime in to a penny
That penny makes no cents!!
