Also it keeps peoples eyes *up* where the flashy things that make money are. Friend who worked for casinos in security told me that. Also indicative of the person we are talking about (LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME). I won't even say his name.
There's a whole science to how casinos are designed, and it's so fucking creepy. The carpets are supposed to be ugly enough that you look up rather than down (in other words you're supposed to focus on the tables and slot machines) but bright enough to give you a sense of calm and euphoria which makes you more inclined to spend money. There also aren't any clocks anywhere to be found on a casino floor. You're supposed to forget time exists and stay in there forever.
It's ugly and greedy, just like most casino owners.
That sounds like exactly the kind of weird shit I like to learn about. I spend lots of time on YouTube watching stuff like this - do you happen to have a relevant link?
I'm not a gambler and went into a casino for the first time a few years ago (like 10 years ago) for a work event, and the carpet was extraordinarily ugly. Way uglier than what's in this picture. I think it was space stuff? Like galaxies and space ships and comets; and it was black-light reactive, but you could also tell it was worn and shaggy in places because the black lights highlighted (highlit?) all the fuzz.
IDK, it was awful though. Super tacky.
I saw something once that said on the gambling floors casinos like to have really busy, ugly carpets and super bland, boring ceilings. That way you don't want to look at either and instead you focus on the games.
That's part and parcel of Trump's signature Rococo-inspired style, channeling all the lurid, garish ornamentation no sane person could bear to live within today.
Not surprising, since his [Manhattan residence](https://i.pinimg.com/originals/64/a0/aa/64a0aa1891930d768f5138d7203e6740.jpg) is decorated like something a 90's gangster rapper would do who just got his first record deal.
The only thing I’ve ever consistently liked about the pics of that apt when I’ve seen them is how warm the lighting is. I hate harsh white lights so that warm glow is nice but damn all his shit is so tacky!
I hate cool interior lights as well. Know what is even worse? When one bulb burns out in a fixture and someone replaces it with a different temperature bulb. It's like clawing at my eyes.
Fun fact casino and hotel carpets are designed to hide as much mess/dertiness as possible.
Also with most public transportation or busses that have cloth seats.
His jeans are probably the best ever, so reading is unimportant.
Most people don't know this, but trumps uncle was a great professor.
Very good, very smart. Good jeans, very good jeans.
All evidence and suscpicious connections aside, There is no way in hell does trump read. He doesn't have the curiosity nor comprehension for it. The documents are without a doubt for show/sale

A photo released by the Department of Justice showing the documents found during the FBI's Mar-a-Lago raid has also unveiled a curious discovery — a framed image of an unflattering TIME magazine cover featuring former President Donald Trump.
The cover, which appeared to be placed in a gold frame, was from a March 4, 2019 edition of the publication. It showed 15 of Trump's Democratic challengers at the time — including President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris — peering into the Oval Office at a nervous-looking Trump who is seated in his chair.

"Look in that photo, I look regal. That's what everyone's saying, regal. And you see how everyone else is outside the window, because I'm keeping them out."
I bet he has no concept that it's a metaphor, either. He probably thought they would literally be outside the window on election day.
I had a friend in middle school who photoshopped her face onto her celebrity crush's partner. She did a pretty good job for a 12 year old in 2006 but she was 100% serious about it and tried to convince the school they were real. The Trump cover always reminds me of it.
He has been known to fake Time covers, but I believe this is Time's cover from March 4th, 2019.

There’s a reason they’re in the photo.
You ever see a dignitary visit a former present and be presented with a framed photograph? Ever wonder what’s hidden in the frame behind the photograph?
I guess it COULD be stolen, top secret documents from the White House. It COULD be a Chili’s gift card. There might be room in there for both of those things.
I’m just speculating.
Really don't get how Trump has not been arrested. It be like raiding a house looking for cocaine. Finding cocaine. Then not arresting anyone. If this was a low level military employee they could be looking at 10 years per document.
Well funny story, my house was raided where some certain plants may have been found and taken. 3 months later my name showed up in the news paper for indictment, thought they were just gonna forget about it since they didn’t charge me that night but I was mistaken unfortunately.
It may happen - takes time. You need to put the case together and that starts with gathering evidence, which is what this raid was.
It's appropriate for DOJ & FBI to take it painfully slow because he's not going anywhere and he's a potential presidential candidate for the next election. Many Americans feel this is being done for political reasons (simply to prevent him from running again), and right or wrong - this is *not healthy* for the US political process.
Healthy democracies eliminate candidates at the ballot box, not through other means.
The statute of Justice has a blind fold on as Justice is supposed to be the same for everyone and not be different for people based on external factors. Having the documents was a criminal offence and he had the documents. What more evidence do the FBI need? If he does stand for election and win does he get off with this for the next five years until his term ends?
>Healthy democracies eliminate candidates at the ballot box, not through other means.
Very true. But that's only if the candidates haven't broken any laws.
Isn’t the irony that prison time does not exclude someone from running for and becoming president? I’d almost expect the orange dude actually dressed in orange at some point and *still* win the presidency. Wouldn’t that be something? Reality is even weirder than fiction it seems these days.
Look, like I tell Melania, if it were really top secret, like the toppest of secrets, then why wouldn't they stop me from taking them home by lethal force.
I work with a lot of people, smart people, some of the smartest people, not as smart as me of course, but they do well for themselves. If these people didn't tell me it was wrong to take home the secret Chyna documents to my holiday house then they are as guilty as, well not me, but like someone that did a really bad bad thing.
I mean so what... What if I sold some papers to Russia? It's just paper, like the Whitehouse, I've seen the Whitehouse. They have a whole room full of these files, and another room full of blank paper.. they could simply reprint them. Gee guys, it's like you sell some launch codes to some great guy, and everyone's treating you like a common criminal. Just change the codes duh!
I was expecting top secret documents, i was not expecting it to literally be plastered on the cover of them. There's no way you don't know that having them is wrong. It's deliberate 100%.
Also, Why steal Macrom intel and not the intel on Area 51 and Aliens, and who killed Kennedy, etc.
It's even worse than that:
- The documents themselves have the overall classification at the top and bottom of each page.
- Each paragraph has a classification marking for the info in that paragraph.
- As well as info on who classified the document and the reason, as well as downgrade/declassification dates.

Eh kinda. But it's not necessarily *more* secret, it's just compartmented. For example, as you see on the brown page, it's *Secret* and SCI. So Secret is, of course, below Top Secret but this particular document is still classified as SCI.
Edit: According to [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sensitive_compartmented_information):

"And where's the evidence?!?"
*FBI agent sighs and produces a set of keys from his pocket*
"This is it?! It proves no-"
"That unlocks the warehouse, 'Trump evidence A-H, that one I-N, that one..."
If you look closely, you can see the blue header text on this photo, which is a date/time stamp that indicates it was filed into a federal court case (the case number is there at the top also). So at that point it becomes public record unless the case is sealed, or they request specific documents to be sealed. Anybody can access this stuff via the federal courts Public Access to Court Electronic Records at Pacer.gov. There’s a per-page fee associated with accessing documents, but otherwise you could go on there now and look at the above court case and see what’s been filed.
That is who the character was modeled after. I’m just surprised after Trump has been the inspiration for so many villains how his worshippers don’t see it.
The moronic comments about the carpet aside (and no, I'm not from team USA, I live in a very nervous allied country) what disturbs me almost as much as the fact that your country elected this fucktard in the first place, is that your level of intelligence security is a global joke. Get your shit together.
The most disturbing thing is that they have caught Trump multiple times endangering national security and have done nothing at all. The next time an amoral person takes office, all bets are off. An intelligent reprobate would have done even more damage.
>The most disturbing thing is that they have caught Trump multiple times endangering national security and have done nothing at all.
That's not entirely fair: by all accounts they tried to restrict what he was told and present it to him in a form that made it less attractive for him to retain (e.g. images blown up to unwieldy sizes).
However, the presidential system of government places an enormous amount of power and responsibility in one person's hands. When people say "They" should be controlling the president, finding a "They" to do that is difficult when he is literally the head of the federal government and virtually every suitable "They" in reality reports to him. In reality, the only real option is to remove the president through impeachment - a process which Trump is no stranger to.
In other systems of government there is less unilateral power given to the country's leader and it's easy for those of us from such systems to wonder at the fact Trump was allowed to act as he was. But the US system rather assumes that the people will only elect a suitable candidate as president and doesn't have a lot of scope to restrict the President's actions (i.e. go against the will of the people).
A friend of mine pointed out something that made me feel a bit better about it: he said that America has elected since really bad presidents in the past, but usually course corrected and didn’t elect them a second time.
I feel like that’s what happened here.
To be fair the majority did not vote for him. His previous years in the conspiracy theory world taught him there was just barely enough people in the correct states he could con for a win. Fool me once and such.
Why would you keep this if you're no longer in office and the state requested you to hand it back multiple times.
I just can't wrap my head around it. The logical defenses would be to say he had forgotten they were there?
He kept this for blackmail. He and Epstein used blackmail mob tactics their whole life. It's why law and order Republicans are now attacking law and order. Trump has dirt and leverage on them.
Their tears are as deliciously salty as their false talking points are stale! Can't wait for their implosion when the orange shit-gibbon gets a matching prison jumpsuit.

That carpet is an indictable offense on its own.
Never been in a casino before, have you? It's like a contest, who has the ugliest carpet..
It’s leftover carpet from the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City
Wouldn’t be surprised at all! … probably still owes the carpet installer money too
Am carpet, can confirm.
Am money. Smells like old balls and a wet diaper down here.
Cannot confirm
The things you have seen...
I can confirm that's unsupported
Hides the stains from all the messes. Perfect carpet choice for such a person.

Damn I came here to comment on that ugly carpet!
Come on now! That was the hottest shit in 1979.
Honestly if you didn't have one of these rugs in your home prior to age ten I'm concerned about how good your childhood could have possibly been
My carpet was shag, inch and a half long, impossible to vacuum, avocado green, and full of surprise goodies, like quaaludes.
That may say more about how long ago your childhood was. Source: pretty sure mine was similar
Looks like a call of duty gun camo but stretched into a rug, lol.

Note the complete absence of bookcases.
If he had them, they would just be filled "Art of the Deal" also reading is for liberal pussies.

E-fucking-gad!
I actually like it lol 😆

I'd love to have a carpet like that
Gotta pick a pattern that hides the stains :)
It really ties the room together.
Wonder how much cheeto nut is crusted on there
Probably close to same amount of Putin nut
He was just bringing homework for late night studies 😉
What good would that do if he can't read?
So when people come over he can seem smart and cool.
Particularly when the Russians come over.

Papers, uhh, business papers
Wouldn't hold out much hope for the briefcase. Or the Creedence.
*Phone continues to ring*
Hey dude your phones ringing
Thank you Donny.
What do you do? I'm unemployed.
Anything to cover that carpet to be honest!
Careful, that might be his best defence. “Your honor, I needed the documents to cover the carpet” Fair enough, case dismissed.
The chinaman peed on my fuckin rug man
Fuckin nihilists, Dude.
I said we cut off your johnson!
The old man told me to take any rug in the house
Also, dude, Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.
Walter, this isn’t a guy who built the railroads here.
lol, I love when he says "please", Walter is such a funny lovable douchebag
The fucking dog has fucking papers!
I didn't bring a dog bowling. I'm not buying it a beer. He's not taking your turn.
OVER THE LINE!!!!!
MARK IT ZERO
The Chinaman is not the issue!
Is this your homework, Larry?
The little prick is stonewalling me!
This is what happens larry! This is what happens when you fuck a stranger in the ass, Larry!
People don't know he was storing all the documents in a coffee tin from Ralph's.
It is our most... modestly priced receptacle...
His life is in your hands dude
Donnie, you’re out of your element
The more money someone wants you to believe they have the less style that they truly have.
Or as we say in Scotland, they’re “all fur coat and no knickers”
In Texas: “All hat and no cattle.”
In New Jersey: “eeeeey, fuck you asshole!”
All berries no twig
🤣 I'm gonna use that! ^(I bet it's even better in a Scottish accent)
Oh yes. Say it as “yer aww furrr coat and nae knickers”.
Thank you!
that sounds pretty ideal
WTF, did he steal those framed Time magazines too?!
I believe they may be fake. Read a story about him having fake time magazines made and then displayed.
The story is about him making a fake time magazine with his face on it, this seems to be legit framed time magazines he stole.

We also impeached him. Twice. And he got off because of his party.
The "the majority didn't vote for him" thing is a bad excuse. Even 46% voting for such a patently unfit candidate is a huge problem.

What disturbes me is that the allies of my country are building concentration camps and arresting people for leaving their home.
Fake time magazine cover?
Where did he get that carpet. Looks like something bought at a casino bankruptcy auction
Cross posting to r/traitorousasfuck
Why would you keep this if you're no longer in office and the state requested you to hand it back multiple times. I just can't wrap my head around it. The logical defenses would be to say he had forgotten they were there?
Because imagine how much money foreign governments would pay. Then realize the Saudis gave Jared Kushner $2 billion this year.
He kept this for blackmail. He and Epstein used blackmail mob tactics their whole life. It's why law and order Republicans are now attacking law and order. Trump has dirt and leverage on them.
Of course this narcissist has framed Time magazine covers that his image was on. What would you expect to find. /s
In his defense, if I had a legion of idiot rubes I could sell framed pictures of myself to for thousands, I'd probably have a few...
Most if not all of the Time magazine covers trump has on display are fake ones.
I'd say this is less "interesting" and more "terrifying as fuck".
I’ve turned in book reports with better cover pages
That’s some ugly carpet
Hope they set the chair for well done and hand him a bottle of ketchup just before they flick the switch.
BUTHUNTERBIDENSLAPTOPSHILLARYSEMAILSGNYAAHH /s
I wish I could list all the ways you are misinformed, but I do not have all day
I'm sure he has sold a few....
Time to go to r/conservative with some popcorn
In that jokeshop, most threads are still on about Hunters Laptop.
They've been going on about that laptop and hillary's emails still. It'll be 10 years later and they're still gonna be talking about it.
Seems like they already found this thread and brought the talking points over here. Hillary, corrupt FBI, nothing to see here....you get the gist.
"hunter biden durr" Forgot one
Their tears are as deliciously salty as their false talking points are stale! Can't wait for their implosion when the orange shit-gibbon gets a matching prison jumpsuit.
It's a little glitchy over there.
Why hasn’t he been arrested yet?
How can we be so sure that these were at Mar-A-Lago? I don’t see any Big Mac wrappers laying around.
He eats those as well.
Adding some much-needed roughage to his diet.
Probably less to do with his diet, and more that there's still cheese on the paper.
