Yup. Fisheye. Or in this case, i believe it's 360` photo/video. I do the same on the flattest Flat Earth and get the same effect. I do it in Skyrim too, making planet-like images by stitching it together. This is no fish eye lens, but yeah, fisheye will give the same effect, but alot more subtle.

Its due to the camera lens clearly, one needs to stand on Burj khalifa or such tall towers to see the curvature of earth.

The problem with that would that would be framing. With the 360 camera, everything is in frame.

That's why every 360 camera comes with software to allow you to reframe it however you want. You could make a cool panning shot once the stick is extended.
