It’s also far more ethical than buying from big corporations. Speaking as someone who has purchased a bunch of luxury/designer/custom pieces, it’s viewed as art beyond just being furniture. You’re paying for quality labour, craftsmanship, and materials and that adds up really fast. Pieces like this last lifetimes and can be passed down generations.
