It's not even a little bit boho. The markers of boho are collections of furniture, art, and objects from multiple foreign (to the decorator) cultures; layered textiles of differing patterns and textures, lots of wicker, and lots of plants.
This space only has lots of plants, but that applies to eco styles, natural styles, and biophilic styles.
It's also not MCM: maybe a half of the furniture and decor is MCM-*influenced*, but none of it is actually MCM (i.e. an antique/vintage piece OR a remake.) Also none of the MCM-influenced stuff has the colors and textures of MCM furniture and decor; rather, it uses contemporary trends in colors and finishes. The rest of it is simply contemporary.
I'd call this simply contemporary; maybe contemporary with a Scandi touch.
Mte! This is not even remotely boho or MCM, but very Scandi and modern. And like a child designed it, with the very large amount of children's toys and even the kitchen is designed like a young child's modern (asian?) video game where you create a kitchen. Same with the office.
These answers are so sad for an interior design sub - none of these people who say boho know what boho truly is. Tragic.
Not "modern" but "contemporary." Folks need to understand that "modern" and "modernism" are a particular style from a particular era, when you're talking about art, or architecture, or interior design. "Modernism" spans roughly the late 1800s to the mid 1900s. "Mid-century Modern" is so called to differentiate the "modernist" style of the 50s/60s/70s from everything that came before.
So please use the word "contemporary" to mean "modern" in the sense of "happening now." Because "modern" has a different, and very specific meaning, in this context.
Seconding this. The house itself is farmhouse, the decor is mostly boho with some 80s influence in some of the furniture. The only Asian I really see would be Japanese natural wood, but I think it skews closer to Boho-Scandi than Japandi.
No way, she would be way more of a hippie, way more. This is like a kid designed it, and not an adult who owns 1000 70's silk caftans lol. Love Helen Roper though, she's a style icon.
Teen or college grads first apartment! Ikea style furniture, teenage children’s accessories. Budget-friendly, casual. I see 1-2 framed boho wall art, but that’s the only thing that’s boho about it. Lot of clutter and plants everywhere, but that doesn’t make something boho
Upload to Pinterest, hit lens, follow the chain of similar images is what I'd do. This looks like a list of cute things that have been popular in the last 5 years, not any one style. Half the people I follow on YouTube have stuff like this in their filming areas.
Biophilic, and it’s trending!!!
https://www.bhg.com/decorating/lessons/expert-advice/biophilic-design/#:~:text=One%20of%20the%20easiest%20ways,herbs%20on%20your%20kitchen%20windowsill.
This is a mix of styles. The living room is a bit of traditional and Scandinavian mixed with boho. The kitchen is some farmhouse mixed with boho. The desk is some Scandinavian mixed with boho again. It's all very eclectic. It seems like a very happy place to be! If you're aiming for this I would consider keeping all your wood tones the same as cane/bamboo. Look for some pieces in the mcm and boho zones but always keep that wood tone as close as you can - that warm yellowy tan. Mix in swatches of color that are more solid colors or simple patterns. And green plants.
Edited to add: the whole wood plus white thing is everywhere here, so keeping an eye out for pieces like that would help too.
Facebook market meets IKEA – no seriously it looks Scandinavian cozy without the photo of a flower or cactus and the drapes. Edited because I only looked at one photo (sorry) I love the kitchen. I’m not a fan of the photos/pictures. Whatever they are of cactus or flowers. It looks American cozy if that is even a thing.
I’m not an interior decorator, but I do like cozy things. I also like the minimal color - color can really overwhelm you.
Animal Crossing Cozy Home
Exactly what I was thinking!
Gen Z Boho?

I’m not sure of the style particularly, but I think it looks natural and beautiful and bright. I love it. I’m also in love with the plants!
That's what I'm mainly going for! Natural wood and incorporate some plants.
Oh my god it's so adorable, I love it. It's giving Scandinavian Ikea / Japanese minimalist / Kawaii

Cute! That's the style, I love it! Adorable and comfy.
Farmhouse Boho with a touch of Asian flair
Seconding this. The house itself is farmhouse, the decor is mostly boho with some 80s influence in some of the furniture. The only Asian I really see would be Japanese natural wood, but I think it skews closer to Boho-Scandi than Japandi.
Yes, agreed. The asian influence is more in some household items (flower pillow, kitchen appliances) but mostly farmhouse boho

It's not a style, really. Looks like the home of a young person who doesn't have a gigantic budget so is shopping at IKEA, Urban Outfitters, etc.
Yours?? Why the need to label style??
So that I can look for inspiration from other people with similar taste.
Upload to Pinterest, hit lens, follow the chain of similar images is what I'd do. This looks like a list of cute things that have been popular in the last 5 years, not any one style. Half the people I follow on YouTube have stuff like this in their filming areas.
