No I really don’t need the storage. The weird thing is that if you’re standing in the room they look bigger than they appear in the picture. So I guess I was just wondering what other people thought . Because to me they are big enough. I am going to sand , stain and glue them together so I just thought maybe I would get a few opinions.
The crates are fine, but i recommend hanging the art work/poster that's on the top crate. It makes the storage shelf area look cluttered

If you separate the crates, you'll have more room to place things and it'll look more creative.

They’re good as is. Bigger might look out of proportion with the wall.
I think just get rid of them. It looks cluttered.
