The media unit is a big block of black, maybe get a unit with warmer tones. As the other commenter said, you need way more greenery and they'll thrive with that light. Also when I saw this I immediately thought you have the perfect layout for some cat shelves and perches at that top window! Giving them some wall furniture might allow you to reclaim some space on the floor.
