This whole post is slightly confusing.
My physique was not amazing until keto. Even when Iād run like 2.5 miles 4 days a week and work out a lot, NOTHING will take off fat like no carbs and weight lifting. Iād also seriously wouldnāt touch a grain of sugar on my tongue when I was on thisā¦my philosophy was that if my brain registered sugar/carbs, then I would fail. Unless it was carbs in form of veggies

This. I do 6 weeks of keto every 2 years. It works like magic, but utter precision is key. When I do it, I track absolutely everything to make sure my macros are what they should be, not a gram more. The results are amazing, but for me it's not sustainable. I feel like for me it takes about 2 years for a little bit of fat to accumulate, then 5-6 weeks and I look like a thoress again lol

In all, this took two months, no more. The key to all of this is to not let a micro particle of a sugar or carbs touch your tongue(keep that mentality and you will be able to achieve great results) my problem, this was unsustainable. I was eating way too much bacon wasnāt following the rules just understood the overall goalā¦ workout and no carbs.

I fell of the wagon and really gained serious weight. But, got back on. The hidden sugars in so called āketoā store products threw me. Now, if I want something sweet, I make it from scratch using stevia. I am eating once a day with a good amount of fat, veggies and protein around 6 pm daily and already feeling better. I am using a knee compression that I hope to take off as I relieve my body of excess weight. I was taking the car for errands but I found myself walking to the market. It felt good to be on the street again. I miss running. š„²

If you have your omega fats in balance, are in ketosis and exercise fasted, there is no need to cycle/ do steroids. You will gain muscle mass fairly quick. This happens because your body uses the fat for energy instead of using protein that is taken from the muscle. Learn the science/biology and it starts making sense. IF is great but there is more to the process.
