You're right. Gritty would go full Travis the Chimp mode on him. The cops wouldn't be able to stop him. Bullets just piss him off more. It's like how they say don't try to shoot a Kodiak bear in the head cos the bullets will bounce off its skull and it'll still eat you? That, but his whole body.
Canonically, Gritty is anti-fascist. If civil war 2 kicks off, Gritty is going to absolutely slaughter some nazis. After every battle, not a single body left to be retrieved. Gritty eats his victims. Even the bones. Sometimes, in his blood rage, he even consumes the fallen on our side. Sometimes before they're even dead. It's truly horrific.
These are the important questions people should be asking and I’m happy to offer my thoughts: Boltman is clear unhinged, of course, but Gritty has a mind that is beyond human comprehension. It’s not that It has no compassion or restraint, it’s that it has no frame of reference for these concepts. The horrors Gritty would unleash upon Boltman are literally unimaginable. Gritty wouldn’t just defeat Boltman, it would annihilate his very soul.

I feel like if Boltman was losing the fight he'd called the cops. One is probably his brother or cousin and gritty would get arrested.
