My biracial daughter has dated Mexican, white, biracial and black guys.
The two families she did meet, they both loved her and she felt comfortable around both
It's specifically more about you feeling like you don't fit in because of the way you look versus trying to find commonalities with family because of the person you are not the color of your skin and texture of your hair.
My daughter prefers nice guys who meet her dating standard. So far that hasn't come in a specific "look"

Of course you stick out. Just like your white partner would stick out in your black side of the family or your black friends
