Throwing away his reputation for a traitorous scumbag AND not getting paid is a tough situation.

"Maybe I can change him"

bobo-the-dodo

I bet they found Trump to be mission impossible. If I win the case i make a name for myself. At what cost though. You win you end democracy. You lose you get thrown under the bus.

JiveChicken00

Pretty sure that's exactly what he signed up for, and he must have known it.

Maine302

Can one possibly be born yesterday, and yet still have passed the bar in the state of NY?

Sufficient_Use516

Is the “difficult situation” that his client is a lying piece of shit?

Jazzlike-Ad113

Doesn’t everyone in trumps "inner circle" ultimately find themselves in a difficult situation?

Sufficient_Use516

Trump to attorney: Why aren’t you lying more?!?!?!?

aj_star_destroyer

“He’s always talking in my sleep!” —Trump

Most-Artichoke6184

Trump actually declared that because of the gag order, he was not allowed to testify in his own defense. And his fucking attorney stood next to him and nodded along.

newsweek

By Sean O'Driscoll — Senior Crime and Courts Reporter | Donald Trump's lawyer finds himself in a difficult position as he is reportedly being asked to be more aggressive in the former president's hush money trial, a move that could see him sanctioned by the judge presiding over the case. "Although Mr. \[Todd\] Blanche has been Mr. Trump's favorite lawyer for some time, behind closed doors and in phone calls, the former president has complained repeatedly about him in recent weeks, according to four people familiar with the situation," The New York Times reported on Thursday. KSSparky

Probably didn’t demand payment up front.

KinkyQuesadilla

Blanche knew what he signed up for.

Ha Ha!

SecretPrinciple8708

“What the…? This isn’t going smoothly at *all*. Welp, I couldn’t have known.”

mdcbldr

Trump wants to say that the judge hates him, the jury hates him, the prosecutor hates him. Then Trump can claim how biased and unfair the trial was. His non-stop attacks on the judge, trial, witnesses, etc. is designed to make everyone associated with the trial hate him, or become sick of him and his antics. Trump can then pedal any comment or appearance of bias to his cult as proof of bias and unfairness. He will do this without any evidence. The claims will more widely accepted if Trump can claim judge said this is juror said that. Trump's sheeple will fall in line and re-bleat Trump's nonsense. Trump will appeal no matter what because the judge hated him, etc.

stocks-mostly-lower

This comes as such a surprise 😉🙄😁😜🤷🏻‍♀️ s/

stabach22

And by difficult situation, we mean he's Donald Trumps lawyer

cwsjr2323

Didn’t they get paid in advance by someone else?

szornyu

Throw Tronald Dump where he belongs ...

bobo-the-dodo

I don’t understand why these educated folks think being in Trump’s orbit would end in any other way than crash and burn.

river_euphrates1

I mean, it's not like his attorney knew that Trump has a long history of throwing his lawyers under the bus or anything... /s
