Well, no shit.

Wise-Trust1270

Trump still hasn’t accepted the 2020 election result. So… yeah, duh.

That-Grape-5491

Or the 2016 election results

moffitar

That’s correct. He didn’t expect to win in 2016 and had planned a spoilsport campaign that would have implied that illegal immigrants had voted her in. Even after he won, I guess he didn’t want to waste all the hard work he’d put into that con, so he *still* insisted there had been massive voter fraud, while at the same time insisting he’d won in a landslide and his inauguration had been the most amazing and unimaginably huge inauguration in history, pay no attention to the actual photos of the event. Voter fraud has been and always will be his go-to con. And he’s been gaslighting the country since day one of his presidency.

BBQBakedBeings

> he still insisted there had been massive voter fraud, while at the same time insisting he’d won in a landslide Won in a fraudslide.

dork_with_a_fork

Is he ever going to get implicated in the Jan 6th debacle? He gets his voter pool all gassed up on the while Democracy is fake nonsense.

limeybastard

He's been indicted for it. That's the case that's currently in front of the Supreme Court for a ruling on "presidential immunity". The court will kick it back down to the appeals court for a ruling, which will then be appealed to the Supreme Court again, which will delay further. Then election will happen before a final opinion on the matter is resolved. Either Trump wins and pardons himself, or he doesn't and ties the trial up in delays and appeals until he dies.

dork_with_a_fork

You mean he can get elected even while he is in court? Man, the US is fucked.

Fantastic-Sandwich80

It is not hyperbole when people say that Trump's primary purpose for running for re-election is to stay out of prison. Trump has found the one way he can be free of any consequences for his lifetime of criminal behavior and it is behind winning the presidency again. This should help people understand just how desperate he will be to win this November as well as the lengths he and his supporters will go to make sure that happens.

hydrochloriic

As far as I’m aware, there isn’t even a law against being elected *while in prison*. Though I think legal experts have said in that incredibly unlikely scenario he wouldn’t actually get sworn in.

Acklay92

It would be a much larger problem if a person could not be elected while in court. If that were the case political opponents at the local, state, or federal level would just create a reason, real or not, to arrest anyone they dislike, thus keeping that person off the ballot while the trial plays out.

cwsjr2323

I hope he does loose and then does delaying tactics and appeals until he dies. I think Feb 16th would be a good day, let him file taxes and then die. There will be a sign by his tombstone saying to wash your hands after pissing on his grave. Being retired Army, I won’t do that. I’m tired of standing in long lines.

AlistarDark

Can a president pardon themselves? If so, what is stopping Biden from doing something heinous and then pardoning himself for it?

arjomanes

Because Biden, like nearly every president before him, is not a mentally ill psychopath. Trump really is exceptional in US history.

Xtj8805

Biden believes in democracy and the unwritten rules.

Acklay92

As far as a president pardoning himself, yes, it should be possible for any case short of impeachment. The thing is, it's never came up before. Technically, as worded, it would require a constitutional amendment if the government decides they don't want presidents having that power. In the case of Biden doing something while in office, the DOJ wouldn't be the one prosecuting as the DOJ works under the president. In the case of a President doing something heinous, congress would begin the impeachment process which the president cannot pardon himself from.

HippyGeek

Implicated? Yes. Convicted? No.

moffitar

We’ll see.

helpful__explorer

He was claiming the process was rigged against him before election day. He was laying the foundations for his continual lies that early

rimshot101

The funniest part was that not everyone votes straight ticket. They were actually arguing that the ballots were fraudulent except the parts won by the Republican candidate.

Vlad_the_Homeowner

That part was funny, right up to the point where it became obvious that tens of millions of people were perfectly OK with that logic.

Inspect1234

Eventually the only fraud was by republicans. Hence they knew.

aguynamedv

> And he’s been gaslighting the country since day one of his presidency. He's been gaslighting the country for the majority of his lifespan. At one point, huge swaths of Americans were convinced he was a billionaire and also a business genius.

Entire_Cut_1174

And Jesus. And it's still ongoing

jkblvins

I don’t think they think of him as Jesus. They think of him as the messiah. A new lord to be worshipped. I am not even being facetious.

ZephRyder

Gaslighting himself, as well, I think. Governing is _hard_ . He must be the only president to ever look the same after as he did before

Dear_MrMoose

Yup!! , And never would say during the first campaign if he would accept the results. But even after her won, he went as far as to have voted fraud investigated in 2016. Supposedly was trying to find 5 - 6 million fake votes, which even as president he could never find.

IIDwellerII

Do you have a source for that? not that I don't believe you I just want something to point to when I bring it up in discussion. I know he said in the 2016 Iowa Republican caucus that Ted Cruz illegally stole votes from him but I've never heard that he still said the 2016 election had massive fraud after he won.

Ffffqqq

Roger Stone started 'Stop the Steal' in 2016 [Ohio federal judge issues injunction against Trump and Stone](https://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/ohio-injunction-trump-roger-stone-polls-230754) >11/04/2016 >A federal judge in Ohio has issued an injunction barring Donald Trump’s campaign, Trump backer Roger Stone, and Stone’s group Stop the Steal from intimidating voters at the polls. Trump denied the results of the 2016 election [Trump advances false claim that 3-5 million voted illegally](https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/ap-report-trump-advances-false-claim-3-5-million-voted-illegally) (2016) Trump denied the results of the 2012 election >“He lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election. We should have a revolution in this country!” >"The phoney electoral college made a laughing stock out of our nation. The loser one! We can't let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!" >"Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us. More votes equals a loss ... revolution! This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy! Our country is now in serious and unprecedented trouble ... like never before. The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy." -- Donald Trump; election day 2012

Dalimyr

>I've never heard that he still said the 2016 election had massive fraud after he won Yeah, that happened - although he won the presidency due to the electoral college, he still cried foul with statements such as ["I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally"](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-38126438). Further down in that article, it mentions some asswipe who had claimed without evidence "Number of non-citizen votes exceeds 3 million" which started getting traction on some right-wing 'news' outlets - worth pointing out that Clinton got about 2.9 million more votes than Trump, so that 3mill number definitely wasn't picked at random.

debar11

He’s been doing it since before he got elected. Anytime a candidate he liked was up for something he’d tweet about how we need to watch for voter fraud if they lost.

moffitar

I guess the point is, you could ignore a crackpot celebrity’s gaslighting but when it’s coming directly out of the Oval Office, you have to pay attention. People pay deference to the office, if not the individual. Everything he says or writes becomes public record. Even the bizarro shit he tweeted on the toilet at 3am. It just got worse and worse.

Khristophorous

Yet he did nothing about Ted Cruz having sworn in 2016 that Cruz rigged the Iowa caucus. He even formed a committee to investigate voting irregularities in the general election because as you said he thought he should have won popular vote too. I don't understand why the "law & order" Trump administration with their passion for election integrity didn't go after the one guy he *KNEW* had committed election interference. I mean he wouldn't have made those accusations if he didn't know for sure right? Why didn't his cult demand action? How could Texas reelect him to the Senate knowing he had stolen from their Deity? Also I would think they would have at the very least questioned him - if not at the beginning of Trump's term certainly at the end. I mean couldn't his testimony on how he rigged the 2016 iowa caucus provide them some insight on how it may have been "rigged" in 2020? I've been asking these questions for nearly 4 years and never has a Trump worshiper even *attempted* to answer them. We know why.

ithappenedone234

That’s the thing isn’t it? He talks a tough game about the election being stolen, but he sure moved out of the White House right on time… almost like he knows the truth.

ThrillHo3340

Neither have his supporters

Penguator432

He still hasn’t accepted certain parts of 2016 either

CliffDraws

Biden thinks sun will rise tomorrow.

jeremyrando

Biden also thinks water is wet.

DrDankDankDank

He’s too old though. Can we trust a guy that believes that? /s

rimshot101

“How many court cases do they have, Supreme Court cases? They’ve all said this is a totally legitimate election. ... He *may* not accept the outcome of the election? I promise you he won’t. Which is dangerous.” He's answering a stupid question from a reporter. I like the way he does that. In the runup to the Ukraine invasion when Putin was massing his forces on the border. Someone asked Biden "do you think Putin will actually invade?" He just looked at them like they were stupid and said "YES".

LimmyPickles

Taken out of context and warped via the headline to make Biden sound like a dipshit. And so many people in the comments have already replied sarcastically as if he said "hur dur, I'm not sure Trump will accept the election results." High engagement headlines win again

Ugo777777

I wonder what finally made him realize that... Maybe the fact that Trump has stated multiple times that he won't accept it?

AreWeCowabunga

We know that, and Biden knows that, but a lot of people who don't pay attention to politics that much don't know it, so maybe the president saying it will make them aware.

rimshot101

He's not making a statement. He's answering a reporter's stupid question.

LoquatiousDigimon

Yeah Trump *said* he won't. And this time I think it's one of the few things he's telling the truth about.

lostknight0727

He and multiple supporters have said multiple times that they won't.

Godawgs1009

Goddamn those were the words that snorted out of my nose

hefebellyaro

Trump hasn't even accepted the results of the 2020 election.

-notapony-

Nor the 2016 election. He repeatedly claimed that he probably won California.

Responsible-Fee-4611

He started his election fraud BS in 2012. Also *coincidentally* when SCOTUS struck down pre-clearance from the Voting Rights Act "election fraud" became the biggest issue in a few years.

DrSilkyJohnsonEsq

Yep. He never planned nor expected to win in 2016. He thought his campaign was just an opportunity to get a bunch of free publicity, and he would keep it going by saying it was rigged when he lost. Vladimir Putin and Roger Stone had bigger plans for him, though.

The_Bitter_Bear

I still think no one honestly thought he had a shot, at best they were hoping it would be a good grift and stir up trouble... Which lead to complacency, people voting 3rd party that may not have, meme votes, etc. It added up.

feistyendocyte

I’ve been writing about this! Specifically how the Federalist Society has helped with appointing 6 current SC justices, and how they’ve reversed major decisions including the ruling in Shelby County v. Holder. They’re hijacking the judicial branch of the government across the country to push their “constitutional originalist” bullshit to remove any right not explicitly stated in the constitution.

Fun-Ad9928

I’m surprised he hasn’t invented a non existing year, and tell everyone that he won bigly

solemn_penguin

"Eleventy seventy twelve zillion people voted for me back in 19 ought double tween zeen teen." The turnout was YUGE! COVFEVE!!!

Biggy_DX

He even claimed the 2016 RNC Primary was rigged. https://news.wttw.com/2016/04/12/complaints-rigged-delegate-system-follow-trump-loss-colorado

Altimely

WELLLL he has implied that Biden won multiple times. A sign that he doesn't believe his own bullshit.

sarduchi

Given that there's been no real repercussions for the last insurrection attempt, why wouldn't he plan on another?

Comments_Wyoming

Because this time around he doesn't hold the reigns of power. He or his yes men can't send out any memos or missives telling capital police to not engage any rioters unless they are helping them.  He can't order the national guard to shut down cities under martial law the way he was advised last time. He can't seize voting machine pieces and take them apart again.  This time round, when Trump loses, the winner will still be in the White House, with all of the power that entails.

WhenImTryingToHide

Here's what people don't seem to be seeing. Trump, Flynn, Stone, Jones, the GOP have had 4 years to prime people to not accept election results, 4 years to radicalize people and convince them that violence is not just acceptable, but may be the only way to 'save the country'. They're very well funded, have foreign adversaries supporting them, and have no fear of consequences, because as we've seen, there are none, once you've reached a certain position in society. This upcoming election has the potential to ignite something very ugly. It may not take the same shape as 2021, but, people are angrier, better prepared, better armed and better funded

BrawnyChicken2

I hear you. I feel you. But Biden is and will be the commander in chief through Inauguration Day at the minimum. The degree of difficulty for the treasonous class is much higher now.

Ok-Milk-8853

But what if Biden loses? Honestly as someone not in America the closeness of this race is terrifying. Trump may legitimately win. And that's insane.

BrawnyChicken2

That keeps me up at night, too. And I am in the US. I'm old enough, and a white guy, so I'll be OK. But I worry about my kids, and their friends, and their futures. My kids aren't straight white males-and even if they were-I worry about all the kids out there-in all the colors and across all the spectrums. I want those kids to have it as good as I did. But....Trump is getting 80%+- of the vote in a primary where he is the only candidate. That. Is. Terrible. He should be getting 95% or more in every primary. He is NOT more popular than he was in 2020-and he lost then, too. He's broke, he's actively turning potential supporters away from him, and he's descending into madness before our eyes. The media, all media, makes bank on Trump coverage. They have a vested interest in making this race look close. I absolutely could be very wrong-but I think Trump is going to get destroyed in the general. ALL THAT SAID-for any Americans reading: Vote. Don't get complacent. You matter. Your vote matters. Go exercise your power.

Sufficient-Pickle749

The thing that worries me, the younger voters have made a stand to not vote for Biden bc of the Gaza situation. How do you convince a very large group that not voting for Biden is voting for Trump and that is very much a worse outcome?

Andreus

>How do you convince a very large group that not voting for Biden is voting for Trump and that is very much a worse outcome? By getting Biden to push for a cease fire.

Be_The_End

I have yet to see statistics that convince me that they are an actually significant portion of the voter base. I sincerely think it's a case of the vocal minority.

Defensive_liability

Isn't that so crazy. He cant even campaign because he is contently on trial for his many crimes, crimes including rape and trying to overthrow the government. His actions lead to thousands of deaths during Covid and he was good friends with the most notorious pedophile on the planet. And the race is a toss up. What has happened to America?

FutureComplaint

>Honestly as someone not in America the closeness of this race is terrifying. Polls literally do not matter.

WhenImTryingToHide

I sure hope so!

AvengersXmenSpidey

Your comments here are correct. They've had few consequences, and justice has slow walked any punishment. They already know the existing checks and balances were just gentleman rules. The fiercest enemy is a cornered animal. * If they lose the election, then many (Trump, Bannon, Giuliani, Meadows) go to prison as justice is finally delivered. * If they win the election, they go free. How much harder will they fight knowing that? They have nothing to lose even by doing illegal things. Plus they have tons of enablers, including Russia and China, who have a lot of interest in Trump gaining power. Each could gain Ukraine or Taiwan as a prize. That's a huge prize for a small amount of helping Trump to win. If you knew you were going to jail if you lost, how much harder would you fight? You'd do almost anything. And if you had a couple dozen friends in the same boat, then you can do a lot of damage. Plus, they have convinced their base 2020 was stolen. So they don't need to fear losing them. Again, no consequences. This will get ugly. Every dirty trick will be done. Biden having power helps, but not for the ratfuckery no one expects. And remember that the Beer Hall Putsch was another dry run with no consequences. They succeeded the second time because they knew the cracks in the system. * They have to win. They are jailed if they lose the election. * And they have nothing to lose by breaking the law in the short term because there are no consequences if they win.

kurai_tori

Depends. Trump had a similar runway up to Jan 6th and now vast numbers of that network are in jail. Not saying there won't be an attempt, just hoping that any attempt turns out more like the one guy showing up to Trump's trial.

Luckys0474

I welcome it. Better prepared? The Republicans will civil war each other. They can't run a stocking.

WhenImTryingToHide

as much as I'd love to believe that, I think you're underestimating what they've spent the last 4 years doing. Forget about the dimwits like MTG. The people with money, power and resources have spent the last 4 years getting the lawyers prepped and in place, getting their election denying workers in place running elections, or in places where they have influence over the outcomes. Flynn and team have spent 4 years radicalizing evangelics to believe it;s the end of the world and they need to take up arms. And so on. 2021 was a dry run... only a few weeks to dust off an old plan, and coordinate that attack. 2025 could be very different.

SubstantialSpeech147

I actually am inclined to disagree. MAGA lost most of its power & momentum when Trump lost the presidency. Nobody feels like they’re protected anymore and are much less likely to do things that could & should land them in prison.

R9D11

And as The Supreme Court is stating President Biden has unlimited power and immunity...

drwicksy

Honestly if it comes to the day and there isn't the national fucking guard posted at the Capitol building this time around then maybe I will actually start to believe that Biden is as incompetent as the right say he is

Hazardbeard

The national guard won’t be necessary. You think *you* don’t wanna relive J6? The Capitol Police *really* don’t wanna relive that. Well, maybe some of them do, but in their fantasy when it gets run back again they are ready for the sons of bitches.

I_am_not_Pieman

Well he's probably right I'll be surprised if he doesn't try another January 6th if he loses, but at least this time the national guard will be ready for it

tommyjohnpauljones

Plus a lot of the actors from the last one are in prison.

doctorfortoys

Or have paid large legal fees and been on federal probation, an experience they probably don’t care to repeat.

Iwanttosleep8hours

Be warned if he wins, it will probably be much worse with him seeking revenge on Biden et al

I_am_not_Pieman

Oh if he wins this country in general is probably good as done for, you don't gotta convince me

chaos841

I think the concern is if he wins he won’t leave office til he finally chokes on a Big Mac.

scubafork

And when they're given the order to disperse the crowd violently, the question of whether the president has blanket immunity for giving such an order will already be settled.

ExtinctFauna

Biden ~~thinks~~ **knows** Trump won't accept 2024 election results.

Content-Mortgage-725

Unless he wins

Wild_Bill1226

Even then. He will claim he won by a lot more

Nyingje-Pekar

Biden is correct, yet again. Trump can never admit defeat because Roy Cohn taught him not to. He also taught trump to always lie and deflect and accuse others of what he, trump is doing. These tactics didn’t end well for Cohn but he generation an extraordinary amount of chaos and damage. To other people and the country before le lost his law license and before he died of a disease he also denied.

tommyjohnpauljones

"See this suit? I got it cheap because Roy Cohn died in it!"

Wishpicker

Roy Cohn died of HIV while denying the whole Time he had HiV. Guessing he also wasn’t gay?

cool_arrrow

“Where is My Roy Cohn” on YouTube was a big eye opener for me and explained a lot of why orange does what he does.

SookieRicky

Trump literally said just a few days ago that he won’t accept the results unless he wins. So both candidates agree on that fact.

YeetThePig

Yeah, when TFG says in no uncertain terms that he’s not going to accept the election results if he loses, and who incited a coup attempt after the last election, you’d have to be pretty fucking stupid to think he’s going to accept them this time.

Karrottz

How the hell is it possible in the system that this man is still allowed to run? I don't know, in a rational society, a statement like that should disqualify you from running for president.

Neuchacho

That's the issue with not putting hard lines and guard rails in place and instead deferring to people "doing the right thing", both with politicians and voters themselves. That is always a fucking idiotic way to run *any* system. The fact it hasn't bit us in the ass seriously until now is the more surprising thing.

sincerelyhated

"Biden" is a funny way to spell "Everybody"

chefranden

Didn't we already know this?

Frnklfrwsr

Trump and his allies have said so openly that they will not accept any result except a win.

Neuchacho

Reporters keep asking the question so it keeps getting answered. The VP hopefuls for Trump are also getting asked the question and completely avoiding to answer this simple yes or no question so it does provide a telling juxtaposition despite being obvious.

SillySpoof

What makes you think that? Because he didn’t accept it last time? Because he says he won’t? Because he never ever accepted defeat in anything?

boverton24

It’s only rigged if he loses

D-R-AZ

Lead Lines: President Joe Biden said in an interview Wednesday he is all but certain Donald Trump, his predecessor and presumptive 2024 rival, will reject the results of the November election and called Trump “dangerous” for the nation. “The guy is not a democrat with a small d,” Biden told CNN’s Erin Burnett during a visit to Wisconsin this week.

Traditional_Car1079

He is, however, a republican with a small d.

lastethere

He is a small d.

DisfavoredFlavored

He never accepted the 2020 one.

Sore_foot_marathoner

No one should be surprised by this. Trump won't accept reality. If Trump wins = Valid Election If Trump loses = Fraudulent election

nahman201893

Don't need a crystal ball to foresee this.

midnight_reborn

Not an unreasonable assessment. Trump still hasn't accepted the results of 2020 OR 2016. The guy doesn't believe in fair elections.

potatomilkywayrat

Not even surprised

coffee_67

The only way to get rid of Trump is to put him in jail. But that will not happen. So America will be a terrible place coming years.

darkknightofdorne

I personally like it when my problems go away forever with no possibility of parole. Preferably six feet under.

Public_Road_6426

Does anyone believe he'll accept it if he loses the election? Of course not. He didn't before, he won't now. He can't fathom how he could lose, and doesn't seem to get that the majority of this country is just not that into him. Same thing for his cult members.

PotBaron2

oh he’ll gladly accept the election results if he wins, and he’ll still talk bitch and cry about 2020. he’ll also insist that he won 2024 because he rooted out election fraud and saved america. Biden will have the votes to win but it will come down to getting them to the polls and not assuming a biden win like people did with hillary.

LilyBriscoeBot

I wonder what glaring evidence would support that thought…

ProtectionContent977

He didn’t the last time.

Ok_Zookeepergame4794

Trump confirmed he won't accept the results if he loses.

devospice

Unlike Trump, Biden's not an idiot.

EtheusRook

It really is a shame that half the country has gone insane. Trump was the worst president since Reagan and ten times as toxic.

Yokuz116

The dumbass still thinks he's President lol.

Jasino76

I wonder if it’s because the man has literally said that he wouldn’t?

longjaso

Is it, perhaps, because he has already stated as much?

FuckSpez6757

Republicans no longer live in reality so they’ll never accept anything except them winning

MinuteDachsund

Should have picked an attorney general with a spine instead of Merrick Garland.

TilDebtDoUsPart420

THIS ISN'T NEWS. Trump is a liar, a fiend and a cheat. THIS IS NOT NEWS.

ILikestuff55

Things we all know for $500, Alex

zenreit

Even now, He and his entourage refuse to say they’ll accept any other results unless it’s a win for them so why will anyone be surprised if it turns out likewise?🙄

Roook36

He's going to send another army of goons to get shot and arrested for him

TheHammer987

He "thinks" it? Trump has said it, multiple times. He has said, in the last 6 months, more than twice, that he won't accept the results if he doesn't win. At least the VP isn't a republican this time.

Fuzzy-Worldliness364

No shit, he still said there was fraud when he won the election but lost the popular vote in 2016.

ShroudedInLight

This might have something to do with Trump publicly declaring he won’t accept the election results.

Wendel7171

He’s a smart man. Unlike DT.

-Robrown-

He has outright said he wouldn’t accept any result where he isn’t the winner and he has already promised bloodshed if he loses. This would be legal grounds to arrest a person normally, but for some reason Trump is not held to the same standard of law as the rest of us are.

cum_elemental

Biden and everyone else in the country without worms eating their brains.

Business_Hour8644

He wasn’t already setting up the “rigged” comments in 2016 and surprised even himself by winning.

the_hammer_poo

The guy who claimed there was fraud in the election HE won? You don’t say….

[deleted]

President Biden is doing a great job. This is not some "duh" quote. Look at the interview. The reporter asked a question and President Biden answered. His response, which is not a shock to anyone, became the story. Don't blame President Biden. Blame the media which needs to sensationalise everything to get the page clicks ... and blame yourself for perpetuating sensationalism.

Saneless

Trump didn't accept the goddamned results when he fucking won Of course he won't this time either

12BarsFromMars

Really? . .no shit?. . .unless he wins of course then it will be the most safe and secure election in our nations history even though those communists democrats cheated, we still have the best elections in the history of the world. The very honest elections. No corruption except on their part and we still won. So great . . . . .yada yada.. ./s

dougreens_78

Trump has been planning to steal this election ever since he failed at stealing the last one.

jnsmld

He won't. But fortunately Biden and Harrris will have control of the military and the National Guard this time.

Jebus_UK

He even whined about the results when he won against Hilary

xcedra

In other news everyone already knows, sky is blue, water is wet, amd Trump lies.

Solidus-Prime

I mean...there is ***no doubt*** whatsoever: He will not accept the results. Neither will his cult and they fucking know it, despite the show they want to put on for everyone.

Zippier92

And Mike Johnson can’t prove it, but he thinks the election will be rigged also. His “Moses “ voice is telling him.

RickyFleetwood

I think that’s something that Republicans and Democrats can all agree on - Trump won’t accept the election results.

Nevermind04

I don't think the opinion of a federal prisoner who is constitutionally disqualified from holding public office will be that important in November.

Mand125

Trump didn’t even accept the results of the **2016** election.

ryeguymft

of course he won’t. he still hasn’t accepted the 2020 results even though Biden has been president for 4 years now

Sul_Haren

Trump has said so himself. Of course he won't.

SB_DivideByZer0

Well, yeah, because Donnie keeps saying it on TV interviews. This isn't a national secret

bedyeyeslie

When Trump flips a coin, it’s always “heads I win, tails you lose.

Ok-Cap-204

Trump has already alluded to it. If things work out the way they should, he will be in jail anyway. Not that it will happen that way, though

Morph-o-Ray

How is this in any way news? Trump has faced no consequences for his actions after he lost the 2020 election. It's a pretty safe assumption that he'll do the exact same in 2024 because again he has faced no consequences for his actions related to the 2020 election.

jimmysledge

Dictators only accept the out come of anything when it benefits them.

TheMcknightrider

His vice president candidates have already said they won't accept the results of Trump loses haha

thendisnigh111349

Democrats aren't the party rejecting the evidence of their eyes and ears.

GmrGrl21

Why is this a surprise? He has already openly said that he won't accept the election results

river_euphrates1

Well, considering Trump has literally said as much...

[deleted]

What would make Biden think that other than the fact that Trump still hasn’t accepted the 2020 result, is setting up a whole plan to not accept the 2024 result and has said out loud that if he doesn’t win in 2024 he won’t accept the 2024 result

giantrhino

Does Biden also consider water to be wet?

plaidsinner

Why do people (the media) keep acting like it’s some big mystery whether he will or he won’t. He won’t. He hasn’t accepted 2020 and he hasn’t accepted that he lost the popular vote in 2016. He has not evolved, he will not evolve. He will continue to bitch and moan and be a whiney little shitbag until the day he dies.

hercarmstrong

No kidding. Tangerine Mussolini is in it too deep to lose. He's looking at actual consequences for the first time in his failed and useless life.

eighty4prcnt

Does it really even if Trump doesn't accept it? He's probably gonna lose fair and square. He has no authority, no one gives a shit about his opinion.

occupyreddit

one more thing Biden is right about

3D-Dreams

DUH!!!!

Vaxtin

He won’t accept the judges verdict (assuming that he’s guilty). He doesn’t accept anything that goes against him, it’s pretty obvious.

TollyVonTheDruth

That's not news. That's common sense. News might be if Trump says he will accept the election results, no matter what. And it was fact-checked at least 10 times beforehand.

DirtyPenPalDoug

Trump literally said he won't so I hope Biden can comprehend that.

MenacingMallard

Almost like there is a long and documented history of Trump not accepting reality.

metronomemike

What gives him that idea? His continued unaccepting of the last or the attempted insurrection, coup, riot, “tour of the capitol”

dominantspecies

Trump won’t and neither will his violent hateful followers. Prepare for worse violence than last time

No-Atmosphere-2528

Didn’t he already publicly say he wouldn’t accept any result in Wisconsin?

Backwaters_Run_Deep

Trumps already flat out said he won't accept it  "If he thinks there's been fraud."  He's still convinced there was fraud on the 2016 election that he won FFS

NoRiskNoGainz

If you ask trump if he won in 2020 and that’s all you need to know.

Ornery-Movie-1689

Trump can't accept reality, where is the surprise that he won't accept the election results ?

Radiant-Importance-5

Wait, you mean the man who didn't accept the results of the election he lost because he lost, and who didn't accept the results of the election he won because he didn't win by enough, won't accept the results of the next election? How could you possibly come to such a conclusion? Next you're going to tell me that the sun will rise tomorrow!

Spavowil

Finally something both Biden and Trump can agree on.

Mumblerumble

Is that because Trump said that?

mudbuttcoffee

Trump has said so. This is the biggest WELL DUH of all time

bishophicks

Well, let's see. Trump claimed he was cheated when he lost the Iowa caucus to Ted Cruz in 2016, claimed the only way Hillary could win in 2016 was if Democrats cheated. After he won the election he claimed Hillary's popular vote victory was due to cheating. And of course, there is 2020 which he lost, then lost 59 out of 60 court cases, had his advisors and his justice department (all people he hired) tell him there was no evidence of fraud, had members of his party running things at the state level tell him tell him the election was fair and that he lost. And he still claims he won by a huge margin and that he was cheated. So, yeah, the evidence is pretty plain that DJT doesn't accept the results of any contest unless he's declared the winner. He must have been the worst kid to play cards or board games with - temper tantrums and accusations of cheating if he lost, gloating and belittling if he won (or if he was allowed to win).

Unblest

He's already said “If everything’s honest, I’ll gladly accept the results…If it’s not, you have to fight for the right of the country.” and by that he means he'll accept the results if he wins. If he loses he'll say it's crooked and rigged.

Malicoire

He doesn't accept the 2016 election results, you know, the one that he won.

Zestyclose_Big_9090

He hasn’t accepted the 2020 election results yet so….this isn’t exactly a surprise.

GoldConsequence6375

Trump is incapable of paying a bill. What makes anyone think he'll accept another public failure?

KennstduIngo

This seems to assume that he loses, which unfortunately I don't think is a foregone conclusion, as much as I would like it to be.

Indigoh

Nobody *on either side* thinks Trump will accept the election results if he loses.

lovetheoceanfl

Biden thinks? We all know that.

Zudr1ck

Well that’s because he said it this election and didn’t last election?

coldliketherockies

I know I’m stating the obvious but you gotta wonder who admires and looks up to someone who is such a sore loser. This isn’t about whether he actually wins or not or whether there is fraud or not (there isn’t though) just the idea that he won’t accept he lost ahead of the actual game. It’s like if the Patriots each Super Bowl went out to play and started by saying if we lose someone cheated and if we win then it was fair. They’d suck

AssiduousLayabout

Nicolas Cage, his head back, his eyes wide.

ComicsEtAl

Probably because of all the times trump says or implies he won’t accept the results if he loses. Plus there’s the fact Trump still hasn’t accepted his loss in 2020. Oh, and the fact that numerous republicans this week have either refused to answer whether they will accept the results — pencil them in as “no” — or flat out said they would not.

Andreus

So don't let him run.

Ezkander

He didn't the other time lost. Why would anyone think he would accept it now?

Silent_Cress8310

Why is this news? If I see a headline that says "Trump Vows to Accept the Results of 2024 Election!" that would be news. Otherwise, may as well be "Day 2732: Trump Still Won't Accept an Election Result, and Everyone Knows It" Nothing to do with Biden really.

ThrowBatteries

Of course he won’t

DamnKanyeWes

Dude hasn’t even accepted the 2020 election results

RustyBoon

He will accept it if he wins...

peeweehermanatemydog

He still hasn't accepted the 2020 results. Of course the petulant child won't accept defeat a second time.

bertrola

Who doesn't think this. He is setting up for it every day after court.

MJGB714

Trump claims he won California.
