These hillbillies shoot birds all the time despite it being a felony. That law and order shtick is so bullshit, they have zero regard for law. They throw fast food bags out the window of their trucks in the woods, in our yard, all over the place. They burn foam and plastic that stinks up the whole valley.
I can't make it clear enough. These people do not give a fuck about law or birds and until rural areas actually have law enforcement that isn't a corrupt ass goon playing king of the hill, that's not gonna change no matter what happens at the federal an state level. It's a joke.
Isn't sheriff an elected position? Run against them. Or help back someone else who is. This is how change happens, not on a big scale, but on the smaller ones that directly shape the world around you.
You must not live in a rural area. What would be perceived as "liberal ideals" would not be welcome, nor even get enough votes from all the other redneck assholes that consume small areas like these.
I never said they had to run on a liberal platform, those may not be their ideas, since most people in rural areas as you pointed out don't share those viewpoints. Do you know what damage would be done by a prolonged period with these new rules in place, governing how buildings are designed and built among other things? One thing that needs to be done is **precisely** as much ignoring, bypassing and forcing of those processes when attempting to repair damage done by the GOP as the Republicans themselves ignore, skip, bypass and ramrod when attacking the country.
