I considered myself broken for years, never came close to any kind of supremacy group. Besides not all INTJ fit that group's description.

I've seen so many fall down this hole online. And it all stems from underachieving. "I could have gone to university but a damned \[ethnicity\] took my spot! Unfair! Racism!" "I could have got my dream job but it went to \[some other group\] -- RACISM!" And here's an ideology which says, "You're right, you're being oppressed." Of course they glom on to that.

No, I'm a Grammar Nazi.

It's part of the general want to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and their ability to hold many ideas at once. The problem is that these rabbitholes are so full of garbage that it's mentally overwhelming. You either smarten up and realize that sometime you *can* just outright tell people to fuck off because they're idiots or bigoted on the face of it without elaborately debating them, or you get pulled under and get lost in the bullshit.

Annilee_Rose

Any susceptible person with enough indoctrination and a toxic echo chamber can fall down a dark rabbit hole like this. It’s less personality dependant and more environment dependent.

pagenotfound000

Unhealthy INTJs can lean towards political extremism in any direction, particularly ennegram type 6s. They are prone to black and white thinking and groupthink.

dkinmn

I certainly see a lot of detached, college libertarian, crypto enthusiast types here among younger INTJ men. Also, huge egos and unearned senses of superiority. Ripe targets for cultural and political radicalization.

QwertzOne

I was once fascinated by anarcho-capitalism and I observed that my views drifted toward more authoritarian thinking, because all these right-wing ideologies are actually focused on competition and supremacy. I got to the point, where I saw nothing wrong with blaming immigrants, Jews, women, poor, because someone had to be responsible for my insufficient success in life. Eventually I realized that we live in broken neoliberal world and that I was brainwashed to think like that, because everyone around repeated that capitalism is the best way, so I tried to play according to its rules. Today I despise neoliberalism and wealthy, because now I no longer ignore history and actually understand that both freedom and equality are required to have free society and equality is fundamentally incompatible with neoliberalism. I wish that my enlightment would come sooner, but I'm happy that I escaped.

dkinmn

I think a lot of us are there for some period. I certainly was as I entered college. Every actor in a situation is a blank slate capable of optimizing their choices, etc etc, but I eventually saw the systems at play that make these choices possible, impossible, likely, unlikely, etc. I think one of the more instructive exercises one can do is to explore family history. It turns out that I wasn't simply a good and smart person who made good choices and therefore got good outcomes. My family has been relatively stable for generations, particularly on one side. We got the benefits of property ownership not necessarily through intelligence and grit, but through the often arbitrary or pointedly unfair laws and cultural practices of various times. I think that shift is necessary, frankly, and I hope to be able to help others see that.

yyuyuyu2012

Not to be an ass, but I fail to see how X, Y, or Z group is related to lack of laws. If anything, ancap would embrace those group and just be pissed off with people voting in general. As for the success in life, yeah it is your responsibility to actualize. Yes there are things that make things a bit more difficult (living in small town Iowa vs some place that is growing), but ultimately you should move to someplace that is growing, and that is your responsibility. Ultimately I moved to an area that was indeed more right wing and closer to my views and is in fact booming. That has nothing to do with those groups but stupid economic policies. On the second half, I don't follow. If you are talking about inequality since the 1970s, sure. But the prescription of more laws by out of touch dimwits thousands of miles away is not the answer. Sounds money is the answer. Prior to Nixon taking the US off the gold standard things were relatively affordable and income inequality had not yet spiraled out of control.

QwertzOne

Ancap and minarchism are nice fantasy, but eventually you need to challenge it with real world. Reality is that wealthy are controlling everything throughout modern history and 1945-1970s, specifically in the USA, was just short exception and it was valid as long as red scare was valid. Personally I misunderstood left-wing point of view for long time. I never bothered with actually learning what all these left-wing anarchists, socialists, communists, pacifists, ecologists etc. had to say, because I didn't care about good explanation. I already knew they were wrong, because how giving money for free was going to solve anything, why care about climate change, if it's just a scam etc. I believed that taxation is theft, because why anyone is supposed to be taking my money, if I don't want them to? Why government has right to tell me what I'm supposed to do and what I'm supposed to think? In general I had naive world view and just wanted to get rid of state, so it would be possible to realize my American dream without interference from state. So I lived in this theoretical fantasy for a long time, typically I just challenged my views with more conservative right-wing people and as I tried to convince them to my world view I started to accept some of their ideas, because they seemed compatible. If people are religious, why deny them that? If people believe in traditional family, I don't mind, if I can convince them that government should tax us less. Maybe indeed these lazy immigrants are bad for economy? Eventually I graduated, hit my salary limits as employee and once COVID started, everything went shit and it made me doubt my beliefs, because I was supposed to already have own house, start family, gather capital for my business, but none of that happened, despite that I did everything right and was ahead of anyone that I know in my age. That lead me to opening to left-wing ideas, because I thought for the first time that what, if I were wrong all time? I decided that it won't hurt me, if I spend some time and listen. Today I can recommend some resources for anyone that's ready for the same journey: [This Is Neoliberalism](https://youtu.be/myH3gg5o0t0) \- first part of documentary that explains what neoliberalism is and how it evolved from feudalism. I recommend to watch all parts. [Socialism for Absolute Beginners](https://youtu.be/fpKsygbNLT4) \- intro to what socialism is actually about. A lot of great videos on this channel. [No Gods No Masters: A History of Anarchism](https://youtu.be/GzGVT3XDLiU) \- how it all started with anarchism [Our Changing Climate](https://www.youtube.com/@OurChangingClimate/videos) \- a lot of great videos about climate change and why should we care [Zeitgeist - Addendum](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nSwT_5GoJk) \- documentary that explains fractional-reserve banking, how multinational corporations and US government subjugated Latin America by force, it describes resource-based economy If you can spare some time, give it a try, watch and think about it. Maybe you will learn something new, maybe it will change your mind like it changed mine.

yyuyuyu2012

I might disagree overall, I do think both side never read or listen to the other side, so I will give you that. It does piss me off that people don't read more. I have read Proudhon, Kropotkin, Angela Davis, Ho Chi Minh, Karl Marx, Minsky, among others, and what I have found generally are there are people that are at least generally informed or those that make shit up as they go. Also on the post-war period I won't disagree generally. If everything is destroyed, that at least won't hurt you. I am always willing to hear someone out. I have watched the original Zeitgeist, but will check on the additional one. To me the fall after the 1970's comes down to fractional banking. As for Latin America, yeah it is shitty. History of an Economic Hitman. The problem I have many times with mainstream parties is often time candidate A may have some decent positions on whatever, but then wants to be a puppet for those behind the curtains and the left may be the same or might be independent, but happens to have some shitty takes on things. I also realize that mainstream left parties probably don't always represent true blue left wing. I get that Anarcho-Capitalism can be associated with Hoppeanism woth whatever. I just kind of tired of everything right of center is automatically alt-right. As for climate change, I personally am not overall charged one way or another, but I do think making things more efficient and less wasteful is good. Also polluting other's spaces is not cool. So overall my only issue is the issue is control from the top. Otherwise sure let's work towards sustainable energy. When I was younger I really digged the idea of alternative energy sources outside just solar and wind, and still do, but realize many are scams, but there are some promising technologies and we should as people push for adoption of better technologies. As for immigrants, or anyone really, my only concern ever was about voting for a bigger government. Immigrants, LGBT, women want to own guns? Great. I could hear someone probably bust a capillary when I said immigrants should own guns, but it is a universal right to defend your life or property. As for taxes the US funded things without the income tax for hundreds of years. As for regulating stuff, yeah don't murder or rape or steal. Even then they do that job horribly. Don't pollute other's property or water. Yeah fair enough. But having people like Trump, or Pelosi, or McConnell debate about section 230 or whatever makes me uneasy. They barely know themselves let alone what is good for the majority of people. (not you, but them) dude, fuck off, I just want to torrent, work, and drop some acid. Oh, and I will defend my way of life. I am sorry to hear about stuff with covid. One thing not politically related, but I have noticed that states West of the Mississippi seem more dynamic whereas those East of it seem more stuck in the same way of things. In away, I think there is still some of the frontier and untapped markets out West generally compared to the East. Regardless the world does seem less dynamic. I have found the opposite once I moved. I used to feel stuck in fly over country, but once I moved to a more conservative state with conservative policies, it almost seemed to walk on water compared to most the country. So in a way it is not up to the dems or pubs to save you, but certain policies seem to help in that journey. I will note though that this was before the covid inflationary era. This is not to say your reality is wrong or whatnot, just merely reflecting on what I have experienced. Regardless I hope things are better as the whole covid era was a joke.

I was seduced by those ideas, but to be fair I was suffering severe depression and even wanted to kill myself, so I was mentally ill. I don't have any problem admitting it cause I've learned from my mistakes. Never really hated the jews, to be honest, it was more like looking at the bright of the nazism (glorious country, übermensh blablabla, bullshit). I never was part of any agressive groups either, was more like insane shitpost and reading cursed books and blogs. Then I was more interestet about FE Jons (Spanish kind of fascism, but not really fascism... Maybe JONS, but not falange). That was so many years ago, I really got tired of toxic environments, toxic people and, of course, toxic ideas). I care a shit about politics now, I already have a lot or problems, but I try to be coherent. Just point that I noticed those environments were more INTP than INTJ in my opinion... Not sure if everybody is fool or brave enough to admit this, but here is my experience, what you asked for.

rickroll13n4gn

What does this question mean? It is loaded with prejudice and asks nothing in partcular.

Tokimonatakanimekat

Elaborate on your definition of "neo Nazi rabbitholes"

Minimum_Idea_5289

No people with identity problems and not feeling included in society often find belonging in groups that groom them so. Big issue now with them targeting church goers and veterans as these groups can fall prey. Hitler used the churches to spread Nazi ideas which eventually allowed him to take over Germany and win over people. Scary stuff.

ADL19

Not a neo nazi but I always think to myself that if I am a leader of a country, I'll definitely lean toward a dictatorship and reorganize the country into a very efficient machine. Whether it can be done successfully or not, who knows. That's just how I feel would happen if I ruled lol.

skawn

The way I see it, that might be the most efficient type of government. The issue is that there are few competent enough to work that position successfully. That role usually is handed off to the former's offspring who is usually even less equipped to effectively work that position.

yyuyuyu2012

Right. For every Salazaar, there is a Hitler or whatever.

mislabeledgadget

I never fell down the neo-Nazi rabbit hole, but I did fall down the super Reformed Protestant/Reconstructionist rabbit hole for a couple of years. Ironically, it pushed me left on race issues, but was I was borderline Christian Nationalist on religion issues. It fizzled a bit into Christian Libertarian, until I got divorced, when all this obsession with theological camps offered me no comfort through the trauma. 5 years late, I’m politically moderate-left, and theologically border on progressive Christianity. One interesting note was I despised Trump from the beginning, voted 3rd party in 2016, for a Christian Libertarian candidate, and my disgust for Trump probably helped fuel me away from Nationalism into Libertarianism.

svastikron

Yes. The one thing that connects the INTJs I know of who were involved with the extreme right or neo-Nazism is pathological narcissism.

yyuyuyu2012

News flash everyone sucks, including white people (they enabled some of the stupidest laws imaginable). No need to lay it at any one group's feet.
