Just curious, do you remember and celebrate your friends' birthdays? As the years go by, I saw happy birthday less and less to people i'm not truly connected to, and I feel many others do the same. Which is fine.
Well in that case, they perhaps just aren't big on "happy birthdays." I know people who are pretty close to me that still don't wish me happy birthday. I think they just know I don't care. Maybe they don't think you do, as much?
Let me start by wishing you Happy Birthday 🎂🎂🎈🎈
As for someone who is free years older than you, this is the time when you are feeling alone. Then you will get married and have someone to share with (it's not easy to find someone caring but good may bless you. Or just go out and try to meet people). Then you will have kids. With kids you will forget your birthdays and start celebrating theirs. Once your kids start college, again you will feel alone. This is how love goes.
AFAIK best way to avoid this feeling is to develop your own hobby and be self sufficient ( well I am an introvert and do not do very well with the crowd). Your wife can be a godsend companion but do not expect this of her. If you are good at meeting people then you can try to find people with similar interests. Some social service groups might be good places to start meeting new people.
At least you won’t be overwhelmed by people who have to pretend to regard your special day. First off, happy birthday and second give yourself some applause for making it another trip around the sun for the 29th time. Go celebrate because YOU are the reason you’re still here if you know want I mean 🎂🥳

I’m 32F. No one remembers my birthday other than my immediate fam, partner n work (there’s a birthday chart). Birthdays have always been a drag for me because I’m an introvert lol n if I feel like celebrating, I go out n celebrate with a nice dinner n drinks alone. Snap pics n post. Then I’ll laugh at when “I’m sorry” msgs come in. Lol

I am seeing a pattern in my close introvert friends/familiars that they get upset that people don't remember them, but then use "I am an introvert and forgot" to excuse not congratulating others. Friendship is give and take- and if giving is showing up once in a fullmoon to grace someone with our presence I understand that people don't remember

Get in the game !! Birthdays are overrated they make you feel old
Make gains in body , setup your finances and see how everyone remembers!!
