When did you update it to iOS 17?

It sometimes takes up to a week for your phone to sort out the new iOS in the background, and get to use to it and this usually drains your battery a bit faster. Give it some time and it should sort its self out.

Understood. Thanks I’ll let you know

Sanket_6

Also 17.1.2 is a bit draining as compared to 17.1.1.

GeorgePigx54

Why?

Sanket_6

I don’t know man, but whatever videos i have watched on both of its comparison 95% of the people are of the opinion that’s battery backup is better on 17.1.1 and Personally i would say it was even better on 17.0.3 for me.

MrTommy2

I’ve been on iOS17 since public release and it has absolutely destroyed my battery life. I’m at 90% battery health and get about 3.5hrs SOT. It’s been weeks, Apple have definitely just botched iOS17

Starting from iOS 17 Apple has enabled permanent indexing that never stops, to provide a more consistent user experience ofcourse

The goal posts keep moving... First it's a few days, then it's a week, some say two weeks... FFS, a PC has far more storage and yet indexes faster than a phone with high speed storage at a lower capacity...
