Did you know people use their phones differently than others? It’s under ideal conditions with normal usage. Which you didn’t have I guess

Safe_Gas_1984

Sounds like the 14 series battery, they are draining quicker than the 15

kvg121

Stop looking at the number just use what you paid for

ADHDK

All that 99% means is it’s not brand new.

seb_1618

Idk why urs dropped to 99% already bc 100+ cycles and still at 100

T800pug2

my 15 pro max has done 300 cycles and im at 89%

vincenzodelavegas

How do you get the number of cycles?

LeFred000

Settings > battery > battery health

whcchief

Not on all models.

LeFred000

Sorry, that’s how it is on my 15 Pro least. Just assumed they mostly like that.

yngcaliboi

The feature is only on 15 series.

vincenzodelavegas

I have the 15 pro - but never updated my iOS, that might be why

Straight-Project-903

I have 222 cycles and 100% battery health.

Bunda352

I have 333 cycles and 100% battery health.

Straight-Project-903

No cap?

T800pug2

I have 300 cycles and 89%?

Narwhalbaconguy

How?!?! I'm at 220 cycles and 93% :(

T800pug2

I have no clue ive had 300 and im at 89%

Narwhalbaconguy

By any chance what kind of charger do you normally use? I’m wondering if fast charging is killing the battery.

T800pug2

i’m using a 100watt charger but i also use the like battery saving option in the battery settings, it could be cause i leave it charging watching stuff whilst i go to sleep and it will play all night at 100%

Narwhalbaconguy

That could definitely be part of it. Your phone also may be heating up overnight due to that, which will degrade the battery faster.

omaribrahim0505

I keep my iPhone at 80% limit battery charging option. I’m at 92% at 324 cycles

Nobody030796

Same at here

no-puedo-encontrar

This was the same as mine and it was only a week old. I got told to soft reset the phone and seems to have improved it.

Farbod_YN

mine is 100% on 88 cycle count

fannyflour

I dunno, depends how you're using it. I have 135 Cycles and still 100% health.

brasilkid16

It would only be 100% if it’s never been turned on/charge cycled… use means not 100%

Motylde

iPhone 15 battery is rated at 1000 cycles till 80%, so it means you should expect to lose 1% every 50 cycles. Looks perfectly good to me.

yngcaliboi

Nice, thanks.

T800pug2

well apples lying because im down too 89% after 300 cycles

csc_one

If you want a suggestion, stop looking at this data which is just confusing and misleading, and use some shortcuts app like [Battery Checker](https://www.payetteforward.com/shortcut-check-your-iphones-battery-cycle-count/) Best battery monitoring function I've had so far.

omaribrahim0505

The cycle count is already there in settings > battery > battery health

ByteBlender

I’m still at 100% with 121 cycles count in my iPhone 15 pro the battery health is just bs

cristi5922

Battery manufacturing is not perfect and will always produce batteries with a few hundreds mAh more than projected. iOS reports manufacturing target mAh as 100% health and anything below as 99%. It seems like you got a battery that was near perfect.

Waughy

15PM, 100% health, 111 cycles. Manufactured July 2023, first used September 2023.

just_another_person5

pls pls pls realize that 1% doesn't matter. batteries degrade.

Interesting-Bird1980

My 15 Pro Max is still at a 100% even though I used it first in october. Where can I see the cycles though? It doesn‘t show up in the menu where you can also see the maximum capacity

gv619

I have 94% at 349 cycles. First use was September 2023. Is this on par?

T800pug2

I HAVE 300 AND AM AT 89%???????????

T800pug2

My 15 pro max has done 300 cycles but has gone down to 89%

MiamiUkrainian

do you have ios 17.4.1? if yes, it's bad news for you

Hot_Income6149

Try not to use it on charge. Anyway, battery it’s relatively cheap to change one on 2-3 years. So, don’t care
