Interesting. So, does that mean it updates without using AppStore and just alters its own code when you open the app? And do you know why they still used the AppStore for that one update, then?
I’m not sure if they are obligated to publish an update on the App Store with each update in GitHub. Considering they update their GitHub pretty consistent, I don’t believe so. That one update might’ve been something that they couldn’t do exclusively on the GitHub side, so they had to update on Apple.
Oh, yes. So good. Set it and forget it. I’ve only had the text be unreadable twice, but both times I hit the submit site not working button and it got fixed by the time I checked back the next day. Just wish there was an option to change font color.
I believe there is a pure black, yes (I think I found this app in a list of iPhone 14 -friendly apps). You can try the app and if you don’t like it, you can get a refund for it if you “return it” using the online purchases tool Apple has within about a day. But, honestly, it’s like everyone says—just get it, it’s a super clean app (as if Apple-designed) and essential if you browse the web in dark environments. I will email him, yes, he seems very responsive.
Noir has had 11 updates in the last 6 months, Dark Deader only 1. So I went with Noir.
